tracking app, difficult to remove. avoid at all costs.
Every activity is listed 5 times and you can't delete them.
water tracking will not track how much I've watered my lawn, it just refuses to save the amount I enter
Developer replied. I sent an email instead with photos to app support. No reply to help request. Now changing to 1 star instead of 2. Seemed to have stopped giving the products and suggestions of when to apply for this year. Used to work good each year and now it only shows me the last skipped time from last fall and nothing coming up for the entire year. Guess I don't have to apply anything! Save some $$$$.
The app used to be useful to add and schedule product applications. The app updated and nothing seems to work except viewing my previous years.
No matter how many times I choose that I have a wheeled spreader, it recommends liquid products.
Terrible app. Does not really plan any thing for your location. The app did not include any pre emergence and when I ordered the year long plan, it did not match up with what the app suggested for my year long plan. Scott's does not seem to be putting any effort or investing in this app as it hasn't changed or improved over the years.
new update made the app not work
app doesnt work "sorry an unexpected error occurred" at selecting grass type - cant even enter the app
updated program does not open.
tried to create an account and received an error message. so, I can't use it! says alot about an APP that doesn't allow people to sign up for it..
edit: Okay I found the "select lawn" thing and chose my lawn which brought back my historical data. Now I can see what I've done in the past. But it still doesn't have the list of activities I need to do. I liked that feature a lot because I know nothing about lawn maintenance. It used to tell me when it was time to put down some winterizer fertilizer, but now it just says I have "no activities to show" but I know I still need to do that. And I can't find Winterguard in the product list to add.
What happened to this app? It was good, but you can no longer see all the history, and many of the products to apply. Scotts, are you working on improving this app, or should I delete it?
Since the last update (that took 3 days) this app is worthless, keeps crashing, and making me log back in, lost all my saved events in the calendar. The app worked fine for 3 years, then an update and total garbage now.
it was a 4/5 stars earlier but I am now changing the rating.... The main issue of trying to find products to add in the lawn plan is terrible... difficult to say the least. The lawn plan is terrible overall because you cannot modify the plan without jumping through whatever hoops the makes you... with no success whatsoever. This app has definitely been an afterthought for the company..... and it shows.
Disappointed After Following Every Step I had high hopes for the Scotts My Lawn app and followed its recommendations to the letter-fertilizer schedules, weed control products, watering guidance, everything. Unfortunately, my lawn is now worse off than when I started. Despite investing time, money, and trust in the app’s guidance, my yard is currently overrun with weeds. The app’s interface is user-friendly, but that means little when the results are this poor. It promised a tailored plan based
couldn't get past the opening picture.
password reset does not work. endless loop. also tired google login and that doesn't work. deleted app. too frustrating that it doesn't work. also, no you removed the help feature and can no longer chat for help. also you sell expired seed at Lowe's and put fake stickers over top the expiration dates.
I was looking for an app that wasn't a waste of time you can Google All you can change about your lawn and get all the information that you need without putting an app on your phone this is a waste of time
Just because I have a Scott's spreader doesn't mean that I'm gonna be utilizing Scott's products. No way to add other brand of products.
I can't even set up my custom lawn care plan. No matter what I do, it can't get through the last step. I've tried reinstalling it and re-logging in multiple times. All it says is "An unexpected error occurred" I'll edit this review once I get a helpful reply back.
For some reason ,every activity is tripled this year
The latest version crashed the app. I just get errors anytime I try using it now. I have already reinstalled and reinstalled and it still doesn't work.
I've used this app in the past and was pretty happy with it. The app this year rarely opens. I guess I'll be looking for something else.
too many un needed notifications
whatever you did on the recent version, I lost my lawn size and plan. you're using defaults and I can't figure how to edit the plan that you created. I really don't like this new updated version. REPLY: thank you for your reply. I won't be reaching out to your support team, they're the ones that deleted my data and made the app unusable. I'm so disappointed because the old app was user friendly and I was able to I keep my history in it.
app is broken... nothing loads
Latest update of app, make it unusable and constantly spinning.
There are errors and bugs that won't allow the program to go any further.
The email on this app doesn't work. There is no way to contact Scott's. At first I thought it was temporary. Now it's intentional. My last order was significantly short of material. I will be cancellining unless Scott's contacts me.
Website direct us to use the app to find information we need. Put the instructions don't match up with the app, and every time I click a page it wants me to sign up and register to use their app
What a dumb app. At least it should maybe keep track as you spread fertilizer to create a map of sorts using the billion sensors on a phone these days. Totally dumb and just a data collector
this app sucks to high hell l and should be shut done permanently I will never use it again or any Scott's products and will tell anyone who will listen to not waste your time with anything afilyatede with Scott's that's a promise.
First package the bag had holes in it and spilled out on my carpet. Not inpressed
It's a marketing tool disguised as a lawn care app. Good for scheduling and tracking maintenance, but don't look to it to provide good recommendations.
For some reason the app doubles and even tripples the products it suggests that I apply. Has three entries for Turfbuilder with Haltz. Then has two separate entries for weed and feed scheduled for the same day in May. Same for last two products later this summer. Can't remove the duplicates, can only say you skipped. Makes the calendar look like I need to apply nine products instead of four.
The app was good several years ago. however, the new products are not present in the app when you try to add them, and it would be nice if you could get notifications for when products should be applied or if you could sync with a Google calendar
Password manager is not working with your app
I like idea when to apply but it recommends products for st. Augustin even though my plan has Bermuda

If you use the default products, it's fine. but, only has a few of the 4 Step Program products in the library and you have to manually select when you want reminders for them. Considering how much they push the 4 Step, you would think it would be an option. I'll give it a try, substituting similar products for the step for program that I currently have.
Will not bring up anything after I put all my information in. It says "Product can not be found online at moment". Restarted and redownloaded several times with no change.
No notifications, I have to routinely check the app to see what I should be applying to my lawn. App doesn't allow me to submit feedback.
Notifications suck. Like I get notifications to sign up for a lawn care program when I already have one which is why I have the app. I also get notifications that take me to their website instead of going to a page in the app.
Designed not to work with VPN. No app should force you to turn off your VPN just to use it.
Great when it works, but too much lag, too many errors.
You know it's bad when it suggests feeding dormant grass ... It doesn't adjust for cool or hot season grasses .... So in other words it fails in the most basic ways!
Not intuitive at all, really. Then, the main product I use from Scott's (also one of their most expensive) is not even included. Thus, it can't be factored into the schedule. Scott's Turf Builder Triple Action1.
