UPDATE: The most recent update made a perfect app fairly useless. I used to be able to get recipes from almost any place on the web including Facebook and Instagram. Now, the majority of websites are incompatible with the app, and the recipes it does capture have to be in print format, with only a couple of exceptions, thus far. So, whatever you did to this app, UNDO IT, PLEASE! I have raved about this app to anyone who cooks, and would listen. PLEASE, FIX THIS ASAP!
Paid app but doesn't tell you that until after you install which bumps their numbers up and makes it look popular!!

this app recently switched from a one-time purchase to remove ads to a subscription model, and even though I had previously purchased the premium upgrade, I was not grandfathered in. this app could do the cooking for me and I'd still give it one star for this. bye. edit: nah I'm good
While the app and the way it functions is great it does everything one could hope for in that regard it's just come to my attention that a premium one time purchase for a lifetime license is no longer available. Once again greed rears it's ugly head and premium licenses can now only be had through a subscription. I will NEVER own or recommend any app that is subscription based other than antivirus. NO LONGER recommended look for a less greedy solution somewhere else
I've had this app for a year and i haven't opened it in a few months, so my phone put the app to sleep. apparently that erases all of your recipes. disappointing.
Used to be great. They've gone way overboard with ads. They take it upon themselves to open your browser and take you to low rent sites like Shein. This has happened a few times lately. At first I thought I clicked an ad inadvertently, there's always an obnoxious amount of them interfering with use of the app. No, apparently they feel entitled to hijack the other apps on your phone. I'm actively searching for another recipe app. Premium used to be one payment, now its a subscription.

2026: all my receipts have disappeared. lowered to a 1 star rating 2023: slowly added new recipes. 2022: Love that I can add my personal receipt and photos. Recently bught a new phone, the ap transferred but not all my receipts and photos. I didn't realized I had to backup, not tech savy. Totally bummed.
I love this app. I do not follow recipes but this allows me to keep track of ingredients for food I create that I like. changed my mind. I was forced to update and all recipes I created disappeared. NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!
