Unprofessional to the extreme. An AI would have a better chance of success. For context, I am hard of hearing. Despite warning in advance that they will need to repeat themselves, all responders disconnected in less than a minute; some, less than five seconds. Being vague about the issue and resetting all progress by passing the problem to the next responder makes the Deustche Bank feel like a joke. I'd give negative stars if I could.
Prompts for permissions, I grant them, then it tells me I need permissions.
Worst service I have seen so far. The app is buggy, their website is buggy, their customer support workers are... Just try to avoid this service.
Does not recognise standard EU National ids. Tried many times and it will not accept my IDs. Unusable for identification and does not even support the use of German eIDs to indefinitely people.
didn't work at all for my passport, complete waste of time. I absolutely regret my decision to choose the payment method that involved this app, now it's a going to be a nightmare to cancel everything
Is this app a joke? I've verified my identity many times before, but never struggled like this-I failed countless times and I couldn't get financing from mediamarkt twice, even though I later completed 2 video calls. It doesn't support residence permit cards, and although Turkish ID and passport are listed as supported, neither worked. The app even asks for the 3rd page of my passport, which is blank, then fails it. No NFC or alternatives. Are you that confident in your verification methods? LOL
Unfreundliche Mitarbeiter und unnötig aufwändiger prozess. Noch nie habe ich so viel Zeit für eine Simple Verifizierung verschwenden müssen.
Tried multiple times. Had to wait 10 mins to get connected to the operator but each time as soon as you get connected, the call ends abruptly.
Useless app. the id is clearly visible, yet it constantly fails without giving any reason why. you eventually exhaust all your attempts
Do not accept Taiwan passport and wait for soooooooo long and ten staffs hang on the phone immediately without any explanation.......
Absolute trash, gives an error reading the eID-Karte and no further data. Edit: Worse: Don't accept some EU cards and e-ID denied, extremely arrogant mitarbeiter.
I don't know how they hire people, but they definitely hired the ones with the most miserable lives ever. They will just drop the call without helping you resolve your problem, or just even a polite "goodbye" would be nice but nooooooo. The user interface is so bad. The "switch camera" button is not there and their solution is just to drop your call. Companies should not use this for identification. They are being ripped off.

Very clunky UI. Had to go through the ID process a second time due to an app error. This is by far the worst of the ID apps I've used so far.
very bad experience
WebID works technically well, but it does not accept Aufenthaltstitel or Reiseausweis (Blauer Pass). These are legally recognized documents and accepted by other providers (e.g. PostIdent). Please consider expanding supported IDs to make verification more inclusive.

This app is horrible. I used it for online ID and it didn't accept my face at first. Then I accidentally shook my phone and suddenly it works? Then I have to enter my bank account data into their app, have to accept the tan and then it just gets stuck forever. Absolutely horrendous experience. Use the website instead, that works flawlessly.
Weird but if you are an Indian, you cannot use this process of identification.
Das war die schlimmste Erfahrung, die ich je mit einer App gemacht habe. Obwohl ich es mehrmals mit der Kamera versucht habe und niemand auf der anderen Seite geantwortet hat, hat es trotzdem nicht mit einem Meeting funktioniert. Einfach nur ärgerlich 🤮

gigantischer Datendownload nach Installation, wofür auch immer, Verbundenes Gespräch wurde abgebrochen, sehr komplexer, fast alberner Vorhang und wie steht es um den Datenschutz?
Es werden Video Aufzeichnungen gespeichert als voraussetzung gesetzt und sollte man es verneinen, kann man kein Video Ident durchführen.

Very rude staff treating.The behavior was extremely rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. The staff members spoke in a very impolite manner, ordering me to provide documents without any clear explanation of what was required. Their tone, attitude, and overall expression were disrespectful and gave the impression of someone uneducated in customer service standards. Never encountered such behavior in any verification process before. The worst service ever.
verification process doesn't work
Ich bin zutiefst enttäuscht über Ihr Personal. Mitarbeiter legen sofort auf, sobald sie merken, dass man Ausländer ist - das ist beleidigend und diskriminierend. Es scheint, als fehle jegliche Kontrolle über diese unqualifizierten Mitarbeiter. Ich erwarte eine sofortige Klärung dieses respektlosen Verhaltens.

terrible support
When first reading that the expected waiting time would be more than 30 minutes I already thought that that's kinda long. Oh boy, how wrong I was. 4 attempts, in the morning as well as and in the evening, with me waiting between 45 minutes and up to 2:30 hours (every time a waiting time of more than 30 minutes was indicated) I still have not managed to get a hold of a representative. Particularly odd: Identification attempts are not disconnected after closing time at 22:00.
The staff is very unprofessional and quite disrespectful. I called and waited for 40 minutes and then finally when an employee answered, I said hello, he looked at his screen and hung up on me without an explanation or saying a word. I attempted to call again and waited this time around 15 minutes then someone answered with their camera off and hung up without explanation as well. This behavior is unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
First Nobody answers, waited 3 hours, trying for several days. Then got someone in Line, they Hang up... Useless system. Shameful from my bank for using this...
worst app, agents can't confirm the ID, because the quality "internet connection" is too bad or sth. even though connected with high speed internet (verified with speed test) and tried with multiple devices. impossible to verify the ID 90% of the agents immediately hang up and most don't speak English.

worst id process ever. Waiting times are unbelievably long. I've waited 4.5 hours, 1 hour, 2 hours, now 2.5 hours and no connection with the employee. I would gladly go to post or offline authentication then use this tool. Most likely will cancel the contract that needed this verification, because WebID is pathetic. Never have I been so frustrated by an app and process like this.
Der schlechteste Ident-Service der Welt. Es ist eine absolute Katastrophe. Die Wartezeiten betragen Stunden oder Tage. Wenn man endlich jemanden erreicht, wird in 99% der Fälle sofort aufgelegt. Schafft man es doch durch, sind die Mitarbeiter unglaublich arrogant und unfreundlich und legen das Gespräch oft einfach wieder auf, bis man entnervt aufgibt. Es scheint hier absolut keine Qualitätskontrolle zu geben. Wer auch immer eine andere Wahl hat, sollte diese App unbedingt meiden."

Man wartet lange, nur um dann nach einer Sekunde wieder aus dem Telefonat rausgeschmissen zu werden. Es wäre auch gut zu sehen, an welcher Stelle man gerade in der Warteschlange ist. Oft schlechte Audio- und Verbindungsqualität. Es gibt bessere Lösungen, ich weiß nicht ob es in Deutschland diese Vorschriften gibt. In anderen Ländern auch oft unbürokratischer( man kann selber bilder und Selfies erstellen, was es viel schneller und angenehmer macht)
