this app is terrible, the verification is dumb, why is there no option to verify through text? I don't want to update this every two weeks and reverify every time. I could have walked out to the garage and started my car 4 times with the amount of time it takes to actually use this p.o.s.

Not much you can do with the app anymore, also a pain bee cause it only stays logged in for a few hours. NEG 5
Update: Customer service is a joke. Don't reply in 24 hrs on a weekend and they close the ticket. Reopen only to be told by Onstar to take it to a dealer. Definitely not paying any Ontar "features." App has not updated in over 1400 miles. Able to start and flash the lights with the app. Have about 75% gas and app says 29%. Obviously the maintenance schedule is off too.
Forced updates
Unreliable. Does not sync as it should. I have a full tank right now and app says I'm at 13% of gas. It has about a 1 minute delay to lock on unlock car with app. Very inconvenient when you need the car unlocked fast.
If my Chevy app is on in the background of my phone while in the car and I call someone and then try to hang up the phone it will not disconnect and keeps trying to call my own number until I go onto my Chevy app in the background and shut it off. However, if the the my Chevy app is not opened on my phone then the car doesn't recognize it as a trusted device! I have tried to troubleshoot this issue with onstar and the Chevy dealer!! very frustrating!
Very frustrating app to set up. After I got it set up, and all appeared to be working OK, my car disappeared from the app.
when I bought my trax last year the app worked fine , now nothing shows up right just had a oil change 2 days ago and it's showing 88% , full tank of gas today showing I have 103 miles till empty ( im not driving a wrangler) and the tire pressure is way off showing im at 42 psi which the dealership checked when I had the oil change and was at 35 psi . this app needs to be fixed ASAP. if someone that doesn't know alot about cars looks at this app they're going to mess their vehicle up .
new update sucks, no feed back if pushed the start or unlock button....just have to stare at screen and wait to see if its gonna work.

This app sucks. Remotely started my car that was 12 miles away because I accidentally tapped the power button on the app . Called onstar and they were unable to help. Fortunately the car was outside our garage. will be cancelling OnStar and uninstalling this dangerous app for both of our vehicles.
went through escude to buy a new truck. the next day they doubled the rebate on it but wouldn't honor it on my truck. they over charged me to cut the next person a deal. added on packages I didnt ask for. I put down over 20k on a 71k truck. after they did their scamming I ended up at 107k? for a silverado? I reached directly out to Chevrolet, which was useless. they said the car lots independent and they can charge whatever they want. they refused to use the lender I wanted and more! beware!!!!!

Frequent login issues
The app is slow and often gets stuck on the same page. I avoid having to use it unless I have to.
I hope gm fires their software engineers and rebuilds this app because it is garbage. there are super annoying ads in the app. it does work unless you pay a subscription that is horrible. I will never buy a gm car again because of this app.
works great when it works. unfortunately it keeps logging me out, hangs, and will not allow me to rejoin. non responsive. force stop does not work. have to u install.and reinstall to use.

Extremely slow interface and constantly filled with advertisements for Chevrolet products. I want to control my vehicle, not constantly be prompted to buy accessories.
I hate the new button layout. When you push start, it doesnt show that you pushed it. so you have to wait and see if it actually starts. come on we all pay for this feature.
So the app doesn't show tire pressures anymore. It just started and I have even uninstalled and reinstalled and still doesn't show my tire pressures. Plus it has been very slow with updating anything that you requested.
Hardly functional but it still technically works.
