0 security on the card no pin no nothing I would love for the kids to put there own PIN We all know Mydoh can do something to block ATMs because we know the pin is not on since they don't want ATM

And so ridiculous how many steps you have to go through, and the whole "scan your ID" thing is fussy as hell and multiple attempts in different lighting, different backgrounds, different positions. And it's now over 24 hours without a reply. Don't bother with this app. Your personal bank probably has a better child account and way easier to set up (probably cheaper fees too)

the app is an actually horrible buggy mess, it keeps freezing and it doesn't even support the most basic features like E transfer or Google,apple, or Samsung pay!

camera function to verify ID on signup does not work. unable to proceed and can't access the in app support chat until ID is verified. confirmed all app permissions but still will not function.

first didn't received the physical card as described, second I can't message the support system through the application due to bug in the messages system i'm android user so i didn't know if this was a problem, I try to contact you through your email ended up with no response I'm so disappointed and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

I can't even add money to it. Just got my son's card and can't process it. What a waste of time
Can't currently set up autoload, or even chat with help desk. The buttons for 'send' or 'accept' etc are all greyed out. I have tried the font sizing tip suggested but still not able to send a message. I am hoping someone can help through this. Uninstalled, reinstalled - still no joy. This used a great app.
this app is garbage, it asks me for ID so many times.
I don't usually review things, but I'm annoyed by this app constantly and it was finally time. I'm not sure if it's API issues or what, but 9 out of 10 times I try to add funds via RBC it freezes after authenticating with 2FA and a 'Success!' message. Sometimes I can only get it to work after 8-10 different tries/app switches/2FA/infinite loading screens, which all take forever. I'm a fairly patient person, but it shouldn't take 15-20 min to add funds to the account, especially in a pinch.
too complicated, like why can't I just set up my child email and send funds to them? they want me to email myself then I gotta accept it before my child can accept. I been trying for last 20 minutes to pay my children their allowance and the email that I am supposed to accept funds don't come through. when I go to text to copy and paste code and return to mydoh app it flashes a red text and resets all my info i just put in. I just got this and I'm cancelling it. there's gotta be an easier way🤬
i tried to buy multiple things with my mydoh card and then never worked when i had more than enough money on my act piece of trash, and i sent money to my guardian they sent it to their etransfer and there're asking for a code they never sent. Do not get or sign up for if you want to be treated like trash
Had $800 in my son account then they flag the account and Ryan contact me retruns only $690 of the money scamed me

I've tried making an account multiple times when I have a few moments. It gets me almost to the end, then says it's experiencing problems. I'm done trying this is a waste of time!
this is so stupid. the app makes it so your kid can only send money twice a day. it should not have a limit
Simply trying to add my child and it comes up with an error to try again or contact support. at least give a reasonable error message. then when contacting support, the in app chat window does allow user input to be sent. The send button is ghosted the entire time. unusable. The text input interaction on the app are horrible and my child could have done a better job developing this. I try and start a new chat to talk to support through phone option and i cant delete or create new chats, garbage
Help!! I transfered money to the mydoh account and it said it was successfully deposited but the money is NOT THERE!!! I have contacted by email and I keep getting told to use the in app chat! which by the way is not there! ive tried calling and all I get is a run around!!
App doesnt allow you to complete the sign up. Tried 2 different devices get the same result. After entering my email and my desired PW and hit next "something went wrong" over and over and over. I will look for something that actually has a working app for my 3 kids.
I wont get past the set up because you do not allow the birth date calendar to access past years via drop down, forcing me to individually tap through the months alllllllllllllllllllll the way back to the 80s. I do not have time for this.
Can't use the app on older devices. My child is 10 so obviously they're not going to have a brand new device, I can't get the app on my old Samsung Galaxy S9, or on their chrome book so this has essentially become useless for tracking the tasks. If every other banking app can still run on the Galaxy S9, there's no reason this one can't
Sign up is completely broken
App is utter garbage. Links to create accounts send you in an infinite spiral of entering and re-entering passwords they never accept, and forget accepting an invite code. You'll never get past the first screen. Literally unusable.
I was trying to sign up and it won't even let me sign up on the app I want to see how it works but it's not happening.. I guess won't be using this

this app is working on the auto pilot , my phone was on the charger and closed turned off and it turned off by itself coz the battery finished and I know better that is not good and healthy for the phone because the turn off order was an order by the phone because the battery finished but the phone Dan still working even with no battery becusee there are so many other functions does not need a battery to work in the phone, its working do to the mechanical movement of the magnetic & gravity

Refuses to work in Landscape orientation. Had many weird screen boundary glitches on lineageos.
Great concept, poor execution: app is slow and clunky to use - common tasks take a lot of manual effort and the UI isn't intuitive (ex: you have to select and re-select which child when switching between savings, tasks etc). Many outages and service interruptions that make it less reliable and frustrating to use for parents and children trying to figure out who should've gotten paid but didn't.
The concept is great and the functionality on my child's end is decent. But on my side, the app is a time-waster, it takes half hour of my time every time my child makes a request. Notes for product support team: Allow birth dates to be entered manually so I don't scroll back >30 yrs from today. Connect with my banking app (not WEB) for transfer requests. Denomination options start high at $500. Should be opposite. I have to select Other every time for $20
in principle, it's good. functionally problematic though -- the core feature: tasks and chores management doesn't always work. adding tasks work. editing, deleting, checking off sometimes works (usually not). my go to to get it to work is delete everything a few times (doesn't always take) and redo all the chores and tasks a few times (doesn't always work)
The app isn't great. It takes at least 6-7 times to do the one time load, via RBC. It just sits there on a blank screen. I did it so many times last time, it locked me out of my RBC banking app. It has only ever worked once or twice. It's extremely frustrating.
