keeps freezing
This app is always so frustrating. nothing is simple. The rewards system is difficult to enjoy
this is one of my most hated apps on my phone and has been for quite some time. not only do i have to load it twice every time I use it (click the icon, it flashes up for a second, then closes, then i have to open it again), I then have to enable location for it to function and allow me to progress to make an order. thats if it finds or allows me to choose the local maccas, which mostly it doesnt or it doesnt allow.. its slow and sluggish, and always has been. i give up most of the time.
the contact us function does not work and hasn't for weeks.....

overpriced garbage. app doesn't work half the time, every update it gets worse.
Everytime I add anything to the order today iit just stays on the animation screen of the fries bouncing up n down like it can't connect or communicate to the service. Now the app is literally unusable.

It is impossible to log an incorrect order/missing items. This makes it possible for Maccas to steal you money.
this app is one of the WORST fast food apps of all time. this app has canceled my order one time then when I went to re-order they change the McDonald's location. Then after the fact, I canceled it yet it still gave my money back. stay away from this app, just use doordash or Uber eats

when you go "contact us" you get a blank screen. this is probably intentional, because macdonalds does want you to submit evidence of your incorrectly filled out order. after years of using the app, multiple phones. this bug always comes back eventually, to the point I have to believe it's intentional also all the pop ups are seizure inducing
I do not receive the email to log into my account, no matter what I do. I have re-installed the app multiple times, but never receive the email. please assist.

the app can not get in contact with server. the last three times I've used it money is taken from my account but no code given. have to go into store to resolve. inconvenient when using drive through.

The app keeps changing my location to a further store, ordering my food at locations I can't access, stealing my money and preventing me from ordering at the location I am standing inside because the location services for this app do not function properly and for some reason even override manual choices for stores, that you are closer to. have had to skip lunch twice in the last 2 weeks because of this app doing this and still need to be refunded for the first time. this app is a piece of trash
just like the staff it doesn't work properly
just constantly crashes. done everything. restarted phone, reinstalled, cleared cache... everything and nothing works only app on my phone doing this. guess I won't be eating Macca's for awhile
RIP McDonalds. In only a few days from now, you are discontinuing the mcsmart meal, one of the very last items worth buying here. your sales are already plummeting and after this, I presume you will go out of business in australia within the next 12 months or so. unless you make your prices realistic for the processed garbage you sell, your own greed will be the cause of your demise. Id say its been a pleasure. but it hasnt.
very difficult to use, limited options when redeeming points. 3rd country app
App keeps crashing, even after I reinstalled it. Absolute rubbish.
the points in app has gotten to the point now its not worth it, from 5000 to 5500 to a whopping 8500 points for a large coffee? I dont think so, 3500 for an apple pie or small drink is outrageous
Useless app. Never loads and when it does it's so slow and then when you finally get to the check out it never loads and I have to try to repeat the whole process again. An ai could make a better working app than the idiots who make this.
The delivery was incorrect and when I tried to notify via the app by the relavent forms, all I received was an automated message to contact another number. horrible experience and just hand balling the issue to prevent you from getting any help in hopes you will just give up. As expected from a greedy organisation with no morales and corrupted all around. obviously the app is deleting all the negative comments to seem like it's score of 4.7 but obviously it much lower with how bad the exp is.

good **UPDATE I can no longer use this app to pay for pick up and delivery ,as It comes up as a malicious site when I try to pay. its also very slow and glitchy so its now a useless appendage on my phone
Took 5 goes to put an order in, as the app kept crashing, and then the order was cancelled after it took the money. Couldn't get the points, was charged and eventually refunded the monies, all around extremely poor experience that wasted 30 minutes of my life and then still had to walk into the store to place my order.
Offers and deals are just over priced trash. Better and cheaper to get a chip shop meal.
error keeps coming up in the rewards code says refesh try again later. this happened after an uodat. so i tried re installing the app twice and same issue it's annoying can't use my points.
keeps asking me to accept the privacy notice but then errors out. The app is so slow, fails to load, is difficult to navigate and just all around terrible.

Try to use the points to get a coffeeand there's no option for customising my coffee-changing milk etc. It goes into my cart, but then says the item is unavailable. I changed store in case that was the issue. Nothing. Tried four different stores and it's the same. Tried it on a different item to see if it's coffee that's the issue-which would be weird if it was-but still unable to use my points. The app also closes completely for no reason, but especially when I tab to another app.
I had to update the app and now it keeps crashing.
mcdelivery is a myth
changed the points system with zero warning. spend your points asap.
Very bad app. They take away points that you earn so you can't use it.
