Can't test Chime tone or volume from app. This is a pretty standard "feature" for any app with a tone but Chamberlain didn't think it was necessary. You get a list of tones to chose from and volume from 0-100 but you apparently have to trigger an event manually to see what it sounds like. Please don't release accessories and then just ignore app functionality.

worse than useless. has not connected a single time when I have needed it to. to make things even more ridiculous, when you try to send them feedback about their app, the email bounces back.

This app will frequently launch into a full screen demand to link MyQ with Amazon. It then provides the buttons "Continue" and "Exit." Pressing Exit leaves MyQ completely! Pressing continue proceeds with demanding to login to Amazon to link. Instead, you have to notice a X in the upper right which is inconsistent with the rest of the app. And there is no opt-out. Next time launching it, you have to X out again. And then again. And then again. This is needlessly frustrating.
***DISGRACEFUL***ADS TO GET YOU TO BUY THEIR PRODUCTS EVERYWHERE*!*!***👎very slow to open or close the garage door. Alexa integration is not available. **I FREQUENTLY carry around an extra remote than to use this PIECE OF JUNK app !!
why does it ask every time I open to setup amazon. I don't want that feature. (every time) ready to toss the app because of this.
New version of the app doesn't work most of the time. It has one job and is currently failing. Loved it prior to this update.
This company updated their service to remove choices and lock you into only their offerings.... and they blamed security. It is extremely frustrating to see companies use their customer base like this and then try to sell them lies about how it's for our good. I will be looking to actively replace all of my garage door openers across all of my homes. I hope they bring back third party integrations, but I doubt it.

Would not connect to Wi-Fi. needs 2.4 still no connection. try multiple times. It connects to the Wi-Fi of the garage door control but it will not connect to the 2.4 gigahertz Wi-Fi. whoever wrote this needs to fix this, it does not work.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON CHAMBERLAIN GARAGE OPENERS. Go get a refund or return your product. The app doesn't support security or privacy, and it is clearly a very suspicious company. They do not support GrapheneOS or any other non-stock Android system. Clearly they're selling your info to Big Brother.

live camera is not working now.
Got brand new 1hp Chamber with camera. The cam doesn't work when you try to open video, says fetching your feed and never does anything else. It shows excellent as for wifi and all other notifications work fine.
I paid for a garage door opener. They want me to pay a monthly fee to unlock it's features.
Horrible app requesting open access to my minor children to complete strangers. Not secure!! Shameful
Scams you into linking to Amazon key. If you try to exit the request, MYQ deploys what you call a "dark pattern" and interface interface, to get users to sign up accidentally to Amazon Key. On top of that, it directly signs you up to Amazon Key without giving any privacy data disclosures. users be warned.

9/23- App functions fine to open/close the doors, but is terribly slow at delivering notifications. I can open the garage door, park, gather my things, and be in the house for a few minutes before the notification arrives letting me know that the door was opened. The time provided in the notification is also 1 hour behind. Why? Lastly, where is the Alexa/Google/Apple integration? *Update 6/26* - Still no changes.

The ecosystem restrictions and customer philosophy of this app and company are ridiculous. Had I known how restrictive this is I would never would purchase one of their products ever again.
When I bought the opener it worked with all my stuff. Then they degraded it again and again. Now they force me to see ads to do something I paid serious money for. Hate.

Lacks key integrations and the app itself is too slow to open. In 2026, this needs to support Google Home / Gemini integration but doesn't. Also, the app is just too slow. it takes a while to open, which is frustrating when you just want to open it close a garage door. Also, the video calling from the garage keypad is similarly too slow to open from the time you get the notification.

Update: Still and issue. Just now the door was closed, but the schedule close ran and the door OPENED. Security risk! Unreliable! Close errors are a weekly occurrence. The system is useless if I cannot tell when the door is truly open or closed. The app reports the door is open (with a close error) yet the door is actually closed. The only way to resolve the error is to use the original opener to open and close the door.

app takes forever to load and hardly works to show live feed
Sometimes videos load so you can view them, sometimes they don't. They added in a bunch of AI features which like everything with AI right now, has done more harm than good. The system worked great until AI was added. Now it's essentially a garage door opener and that's it. It's so bad I might actually have it replaced. I tried upgrading my subscription, combed through all the settings, TRIED to chat with the "digital assistant" which was an epic failure, nothing is working to get it fixed 👎
when I first hooked it up at my apartment it worked great..... 8 months later I moved and the app has many glitches including NOT wanting to run two cameras .
Does what it supposed to, e.g. opens/closes your garage doors. But feels like a marketing device, loaded to the brim with ads and tracking. Menu-> Privacy/Legal->Peivacy Notice is 404 Not Found, btw 🤣
Ver 5.312. Replaced my old garage door opener with one that had MyQ. Should have read the reviews. Lost Google Hm integration (closed to third-party APIs) for an app that pushes ads, late notifications, inconsistent connection, over-priced cost to interface with Hondalink. Opens slow on my S25U. No customization. Can't default to "Access" tab when you select "History. " Goes to "Video" tab. Product ads prominently displayed on the hm screen. No dark theme. Bet fee to open your garage comes next.
Seems to be a bit better these days. However, between 2 people we still have a out a 35% failure rate where it will do nothing. Can we please get a wear os app?
