worked for one day then got somehow disconnected. tried to reset then reconnect but it just says wrong password...not a good software
way to hard to use,not the chamberlian i am use to,going to return to harde to set up.
havent been able to use the app to open my garage since yesterday and now i cant even reprogram it because it keeps saying my garage opener isnt in provisioning mode. their website is garbage as well, the ai chatbot they use for some reason didnt recognize that their app was down yesterday and suggested i delete the profile and relink it. great suggestion, now i cant connect to it AT ALL. fix your app stability and stop cramming ads in.

Usually I dont post reviews. But the overall experience with this app made me really wirte one. Incomplete instructions on pairing the door sensor - must push a button on the hub and the sensor for pairing to work. No way to exit or terminate long running operations which clearly are going to fail anyway. And many other incomplete user experience bugs. When there is issue with the service in Chamberlain side the notifications comes hours later, after I have already troubleshooted this piece
app is broken. 4 days ago it worked perfectly and now the app is no longer blue, it wont open the garage. says its connected and online and lets me choose open but just spins endlessly on the app while the garage never opens. my dad is chewing me out because he cant get in the house after his vacation cause the old school garage opener is in his truck but the keys are in the house. very aggravating praying this is resolved quickly
it so hard when the batteries go out you have to go back to the beginning. of the app.to star a hold new account
what is going on with the app. we have a gate and three garage doors. the app is now failing to open anything.

Absolute garbage. Garage door will open for no apparent reason in the middle of the night. When you want it to open or close, the garbage app glitches out and does nothing!!!!!!
SECURITY ISSUE- so I try to open a door it doesn't work half the time as usual. I walk out to my shop, open the door, enter and close it manually. While I am working in the shop two hours later , this door opens up by itself! The app took two hours to get the signal through. I do not want my garage doors opening by themselves two and three hours after I try to send a signal. I've ripped everything out. This is a DANGEROUS app. I have tried reconnecting and reloading everything numerous times.

this is a terrible app. you can't even watch your own videos without paying them a monthly fee. I now need to buy a SEPARATE camera for my garage. ridiculous. no support for local storage. you get bombarded with ads when you're in the app. its extremely buggy. live feed constantly disconnects/crashes. if you dont hold your phone perfectly still, it rotates constantly and cuts out of the feed. Having a reliable app and recording is a critical part of home security. I regret buying Chamberlain.
randomly decided I didn't have my garage door opener in my account anymore. now I'm stuck outside in the rain.
app stopped working entirely and wont sync to wifi. recent positive reviews are very obviously bots
5/5/26 update. push notifications still do not work consistently. I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled multiple times and I'm sick of this. it is totally random when they work or don't. Love it but Push notifications are broken. everything was working fine but recently they stopped working. email notifications work but not push.
Doesn't even tell you what the update is for or what changes it is making.
The camera never works. click on it. it just loads and says unavailable 😭
You guys need to get this app fixed, what a joke. Always something wrong it seems. Push notifications delayed for years now so I switched to email notifications, worked great until 2 months ago. Now they are also delayed 1-3 hours, getting the same email twice. Total gong show!!! I would rate this app zero stars if I could. FIX THIS GARBAGE APP....
(5-4-2026) Your company needs to stop using customers as your beta testers! I'll never buy Chaimberlain again! Overpriced openers with cameras that never work because of their Android app! I'm so sick of wasting my time fixing/re-pairing this because of your crapware! By far the worst software experience of my life! I now hate Chaimberlain forever!
sub par on all accounts. Don't bother paying their subscriptions and buy a RATGDO (rage against the garage door opener) and be done with them. camera signal is garbage. Swapping out Chamberlain as soon as i can
Dropped all smarthome support. Now an annoying cash grab.
pushes adds, not particularly helpful, but only thing I can use with my garage doors. wish Id bought a different kind of opener.
Is myq community available for download on Amazon fire tablets. If so, what app can I use. All I have is the app store. I need myq community for access to apartment complex and amenities. I await your answer.
does not work waste of money
when it works it's very useful unfortunately app is constantly updating and seems to forget my garage door hub every couple of updates. pain redoing setup every month or so
No widget. No quick settings tile. Isn't compatible with Google Home or Samsung Smart Things. Lol come on, devs.
This app is awful. the fact that it doesn't integrate with Google Home is unacceptable.
latest version(May4, 2026) still has a bug in the history section when viewing videos. a popup is shown asking if all items were correctly identified. this cannot be answered, as it overlaps with the android bar at the bottom for back, home, or open tasks. the myq popup location on the screen needs to be moved
Camera feed never works, just says "OH no, somethings not working!" So glad it's a feature.......oh and the ads, I LOVE being bombarded with ads every time the app opens.

Still negative stars. Takes forever to open and use. Ad still appears when you open the app and try to use it for the door. Still an absolute garbage app and opener. No widget, app is slow and clunky, asks to rate way to often. The physical remote takes at least 5 clicks to work, avoid this product if you're looking for smart features, and/or making opening your garage easier. Tldr; The app sucks, and so does the actual opener and remote.

I keep getting motion detection notifications from the app after enabling the alert for when the door is left open. I went ahead and deleted all the changes I made and I'm still stuck with them. Now my only option is to disable the notifications completely from this app in Android
Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Shouldn't be this much of a pain to open a garage door.
app needs improvement. freezes too often. I use it for my door.

Half of the time I don't get any notification that my door has opened or closed.
not functional at all. having to program the wall unit that's 9 ft up is a real chore.
openers keep getting disconected from the app
The way to view and edit a schedule is beyond ridiculous, I am a tech savvy guy with smart home gadgets everywhere and I was about to delete the app entirely until Reddit came to the rescue. How does this make sense?! On my app I had to go to the menu, device management, choose my garage door in hubs, choose garage door again in Devices/Sensors Paired to this Hub, click on Schedules. Once you are in here, you can edit or delete existing schedules... FIX THIS!!
it hardly ever works for me but when it does work it's great
The garage door never opens on the first try. I always have to do it twice, but then after I close it a few minutes later the garage door finally catches up with the first request and then opens the door again later at a random time.
Once again, my WiFi is strong and the live feed on my garage camera keeps buffering and won't load. Snooze notifications don't work.
The 'greeting' pop up above my devices that then hides a few seconds later is a barrier to ease of application usage. It's unnecessary for this app to 'greet me' in the first place and it causes erroneous clicks on devices. Otherwise it's a fantastic app and ecosystem. My advice: remove the greeting or dont hide it after a few seconds to allow device clicking consistency.
infuriating. the amount of ads you get. I hope we can get Google home integration
