They don't tell you on the day if your payment fails (so you can do something about it). Then there's a £20 late fee. There is no "pay now" button so you can't catch up immediately. Contact customer services and instead of trying to help me, he starts asking questions about my job, updates the policy without me asking, adds £15 to my bill, ups my monthly payments and reduces what was offered. How was I allowed to take out a policy with missing information; to then be charged to update it?
Why do I have to have the App when I want to use my PC only and see the member rewards?

What for a rubish! I live in the UK for years, own an drive an English car (less than 1 year old, joined and paid RAC already, but can't install the app on my phone. I got the message: 'This service isn't available in my country' You must be joking! I am really annoid! Is this your understanding of SERVICE?
All very nice. .... if only they would turn up to a breakdown.

Useless fuel finder having to drive miles for cheapest petrol because app thinks you can drive across water rather than on basis of local roads. Also, it can't identify the correct model of your car from its registration with DVLA.
Diesel prices for the Houghton le spring are not the cheapest, when I filled up the price was one of the highest price.
no longer works and it does not send link to email or let you log in with password..rac need to sort this out! booked a service using their website instead 🤦🏻♂️

I only need this app to retrieve my RAC online car insurance documents (having purchsed the policy for the first time this month) but I'm unable to find any details. There is a clear 'Find my cover' icon but after following the intructions (date of birth, car reg, etc) it simply drops me back onto the starting home page. I end up just going round in circles with no sign of my cover documents. There appears to be no chat, help or search facilities.
Sends you promotional notifications with no way to turn them off from within the app.
I'm writing this sitting in a car park and facing up to seven hours waiting for help with a broken down car. This is my first experience of RAC and I'm not impressed so I will be looking elsewhere for breakdown cover after this. The app is mediocre and weighed down with bloat, pinpointing location is especially fiddly.

dont waste your money on rac, utterly useless and about as much use as a hole in head the service they provide, happy to take your cash but when needed are nowhere to be seen.
paid for multi cover on 2 cars, has both cars and my details but now I need to use RAC cover app is saying im no longer covered
Doesn't work. Stuck in an endless cycle - enter email address - get sent "magic link" to log in via email - link doesn't work and asks me to log in - repeat.
spends ages saying my car, then one petrol price search and it reckons I've done several.
The fuel search feature very restricted. now. No freedom to browse a map with location turned off. Only 3 searches allowed. Lots of websites are free and have no restrictions at all.

I have changed my RAC membership from Barclays bank travel pack of which has been cancelled. I have just taken out NEW RAC membership, but when I go into the RAC APP its still under Barclays bank. I cannot see a,way of changing it from Barclays.
app is good actually service of RAC is rubbish
