Is bz 2026 in NZ supported or willl be supported by this or another similar app? Having an app for EV have kind of becoming a necessities. ta

For the love of God Toyota, make this app available to work in New Zealand. No remote start on a new Hilux due to app not working in NZ is just absolutely nuts. Sort it out.

can't update passwords, won't connect to car since update. How can a company so good at making cars be so terrible at an app that even the Ford app runs rings around and that has been around for almost 10 years
Fix this almost useless app. recently it won't open and connect. if it's on the home Wi-Fi, you have to turn the home Wi-Fi off and only use cell connection. there are multiple issues with this app and it's a measure of just how bad Toyota's software is and how far behind most of the modern vehicle manufacturers Abysmal this useless app is an embarrassment for my electric car... fix it of you want to compete
this app crashes as soon as you enter your VIN to locate your vehicle.
The latest version gives me false hope that the bugs are fixed by pretending to allow for a second driver. The app STILL won't allow me to properly connect my car. Now it will let me start to set up as the secondary driver and do the required QR Code scan in the car ( it says it's successfully connected). However when I park and try to check the car from my home, it reverts to the situation where I have no car connected. I pay a monthly fee for this software and it provides no benefit.
Very frustrating set up process. Does not do many of the things we were told it would. Vehicle is fab the app is terrible.
can't access from installed app due to new security requirements. won't allow login, have to go via Google. used to be easy.

I downloaded the app so I can add the map and other features to my car's screen. As soon as my account is made I am told that my 2022 hybrid corolla is incompatible. What a joke

This app won't let me in because I don't have a pin/lock on my phone, seriously the most stupidest reason. Why should that affect me using this app? Before I was using it just fine but now either I put a pin on my phone or I can't use the app. Toyota its not your issue if I have a pin lock on my phone or not, put the pin on the app itself.

unclear if your data is sold or used for marketing. Appalling that some car functionality is dependent on a monthly fee. very opaque on how opt out for data retention. Basically an app full of dark patterns.
removed the only useful feature which is the fuel voucher. Login has been problematic too, doesn't accept one letter email address.....
After the latest update, the app is now useless for booking a service. When the pop up calendar appears to select a date for service, it's weirdly stretched and unresponsive.
app does not work, only the notifications which you can't view!! Just did the latest 21/3/26 and so slow or doesn't work.
They expect you to pay a monthly subscription for features other manufacturers provide free. How stingey. The tech has only just improved enough this year to connect to android auto via bluetooth, so it aint cutting edge 🤣
unable to sign in as verification code is sent to a phone number in New Zealand. unable to change the +64 prefix to +61 for an Australian number. Even if verification is sent via email the next step requires phone verification and alway present uneditable New Zealand prefix

Recent update made it impossible to access the fuel discount. Not sure why it was updated to make it worse. Revert this update!
App doesn't do anything. Won't load at all now. Always been a bit hit and miss but useless now. Fed up with all the messages when my car is in a secure garage at its home. "windows open" "doors unlocked". Cancel these allerts, next update and all my settings gone. Not happy. 2nd March 2026 - Still not working. White Sceen, nothing else. Very Poor Service. No response from Toyota.
Disappointing. When I first brought the car, this app worked well with my phone. Once the upgrade of this app came in, I no longer have access to it. Notified Toyota back in December 2025, and still this has not been rectified, nor have I been informed if and when it will be. Presently I don't need a new phone nor am I in a position to upgrade my phone to allow me to install an app that may not also be compatible with the next phone while I now pay them a monthly subscription.

app crashes right after being opened. Tried in samsung s25 ultra and samsung galaxy tab. Ive tried clearning cache, reinstalling, changing networks and removing power save, none helps! Emailed customer support but no response.
I can not book any service via this app, and it has also taken time to load properly, such as the Ampol deal.

Since the update I cannot add a vehicle. Says I'm good to go but then it goes back the enter VIN screen every time I open the app. i still get notification from the previously added vehicle but can't see it in the app. Paid subscription model must work.
latest update on Android wont work. says I have to use a pin to unlock phone. how do we go back to the previous version.
