When I use the web app, I am being put through the mills. I'm told to reinstall the app, which made no difference. Now I am given a mile long explanation of what I have to do to get this working. All of this because N26 can't supply a working app. PS: Sorry Leon, I have wasted enough time already with the support chat.

Why did you change the interface to this ugly new version???? I hate it, looks like an old-fashioned bad PowerPoint, at least you should try to give your users the option to agree before you unilaterally change the way the app looks to them, it is just the ugliest thing I've ever seen, I want the previous version back and get rid of this ugly curvy edges...it makes my eyes bleed.... whose grandparent designed this? I know the 2000's fashion is back, but NOT for a banking app, very bad decision.

can't login anymore. updated recently and it worked but sometimes my app opened twice. since this evening both biometric login and password login doesn't work. another account which didn't use updated app was still working but after updating also fails now. please solve. This is honestly one of the worst banking experiences I’ve ever had. You asked me to provide a new account so you could refund my money, and now it’s been two weeks with absolutely nothing. No update, no communication, nothing. On top of that, I can’t even log into my account anymore. My money is just stuck, and it feels like nobody cares. This is beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. N26 has been a huge disappointment 😔

Especially for Switzerland Customers. No CH IBAN only EUR. Even though they make marketing in Switzerland there is no CH Account. The setup was easy and fast. However after I realised that this bank is only dealing in EUR, and after I sent money to my account, I closed the account and started the money back process. The account was activated, but the hundred euros I transferred never arrived, had to contact my external bank to see what can be done, in the process of getting a refund. Customer service was useless, and after weeks never got a useful response from them, so decided to close the account. How is it possible that a SEPA transfer gets lost?

The number of problems with this bank i had is HUGE. I had my account locked several times (right now its locked since 5 days and i cant buy food and nothing), i get paycheck and they lock it, EU regulation? Sure. But as a bank you should be able to handle it faster. i had even problems activating the physical card, time to resolve it? 2 weeks! lets not talk about bugs and unresponsive app...unbelivable. Watch them reply with a copy paste reply"this decision was made with careful consideration."

App verweigert den Start auf dem sicheren Betriebssystem GrapheneOS, läuft aber auf einem 8 Jahre alten Smartphone, dessen System löchrig wie ein schweizer Käse ist. Sicherheit geht anders. Bitte unterstützt GrapheneOS. App doesn't run on the secure system GrapheneOS but it does run on an 8 year old phone whose system has holes like a swiss cheese. Disingenuous pricing. They lure you into a paid subscription and send you a free card which supposedly you are allowed to keep after 3 months, but once you cancel the subscription the card will be disabled nonetheless and you need to pay 10 euro to get a new one. Waste of time, energy and resources. Very bad business practise!

The bank itself is okay and functions as expected. However, I strongly advise against using their 'refer-a-friend' program. They promise rewards for referrals, but after you've done the work, they find excuses to claim you aren't eligible for the perks. It's quite misleading.

N26 Bank GmbH violates a formal data access request pursuant to Article 15 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As they dont provide bank statements to former customers. Every time i get the same reply put different customer service worker. Probably just AI. I have filed a formal complaint via BaFin as they violate GDPR

I had a very disappointing experience with N26. After opening an account, I never received any documents, debit card, or communication from the bank. I wasn’t informed about any monthly fees by post or email, and since I couldn’t access or use the account at all, I assumed it wasn’t activated. Months later, I suddenly received a letter demanding payment for charges on an account I never used-not even a single transaction. It’s unfair to charge customers for an inaccessible account.

May be the worst banking app I've had the displeasure to use. Looks flashy and modern but with no functionality, not like I'd even be able to know if it had any functionality. The app catches you in a loop, forcing me to pair my device (which has already been done, confirmed by email), crashing then asking you to log in again. Only to once more be confronted with the dreaded pairing screen. The lack of live chat or app testing is worrying for a European bank.

Please add the most basic feature of a banking app: let me mark some accounts as favorites, and add nicknames. To find my own accounts, I have to scroll through every recipient I've ever transferred money in my life; then I have to click one by one to find the right IBAN because I can't name the accounts with the name of the bank. Adding this feature with Claude Code will take you ten minutes. Happy to remove the review afterwards.
