Before booking, it will show estimate in a range far lower than uber auto. Once booked, fare is upper end of range. And then auto driver will drive you through improper route and you end up paying way more than higher end cabs. There is no fare enquiry feature to check the malpractice done by drivers. Pathetic service and cheating in the name of transparency. Avoid this app at all costs. Even after 4 years my ticket is still open. Edit: Used this app after 4 years and still, nothing has changed.

I tried reaching out to customer support through chat nothing happened it just said ticket is raised 24hrs passed still nothing. Tried calling customer support the IVR says "we're unavailable please call us later" all I have to say is VERY IRRESPONSIBLE ! I'd say reconsider before taking rides from Namma Yatri!
every time i think of booking an auto on namma yatri I would have a little to no hope that i'd get an auto now. no matter how little or how large the distance is; no matter if it's the morning, afternoon, evening or night, it just seems like no driver would ever come to our house for pick up. like what the hell is the point then if you can't come pick a person in tumkur when we are operating from tumkur? it's not like i live in another country!! Very disappointed! my plans get ruined bcz of ts!
They show less amount on booking and increase the amount till you reach destination. They dont reply if you need any help and will not reply . Don't use them , much better options are available !

like all apps this app also favour to public they likes only paise rates not rupees rates. many drivers invest 10 lakhs minimum and need many maintenance insurance and other repair charges. but like these apps only fix paise rates. it's not a fair business. most of the public always likes cheap rates. not responsible price.

Just landed bangalore for the first time, price was reasonable so I agreed for the ride, thought the ride the driver was reckless, arguing with random people on road and finally charged extra 400 ruppees. Great first impression.
i hwd the very bad experience with the namma yatri driver and the team. the the application is showing the fare is 2500 but driver's are demanding 4500 and if i want to raise the complaint against this issue to the official team their contact number also not reachable and there's no reply to the mail as well. I don't see before anywhere like these kind of negligence and irresponsible of safety. pls don't go for namma yatri choose any other better options.

one of the worst app ever! the drivers misbehave and treat you how they want. The customer care doesn't even take any actions. I have tickets which are still open 3 months later and no one has responded to them
Trips getting canceled from drivers even upon one day advance booking. There is no restrictions on drivers over cancelling trip.
used this app for once and had a horrible experience. driver took extra amount and it's been 3 days since the ticket was raised but nobody is bothered to even reply to the ticket. how long a consumer is supposed to wait for his own money? definitely not going to use this app ever again in life. bunch of thieves running the app. still no help even after multiple followups
I had a very good experience in booking rides, it's accuracy in taking the current pick up location and decent rates competitive to other ride apps. But recently for one of the rides when I found that they are the biggest fraudsters in the industry - I got the fare as 344 but the driver app showed 1034. I have 344 as the final invoice price even now. i paid 1034 - but raised a complaint in its help and support portal. they did not bother to respond and closed the complaint. don't use this app
I had a very bad experience with one of the auto driver of this app, driver was demanding extra money than the billed amount.
Poor Services, if you raise complain, there is no one to address, they will just provide one ticket number & Their task is over,

There is no option for card payment mode. There is no customer support. Even the app's interface doesn't let you to raise customer complaints easily.
Earlier it was good nowadays captain,s are coming to the spot and demanding More amount than given in the app. and Nowadays whenever u try to book the destination, it keeps showing both pick up and drop location same... several times u try to book same thing keeps disturbing you... So we have to try out with some other channels...

this app is worst than ola or uber . ola , uber , rapido is far better than this . the drivers don't accept rides without a tip, never accept rides . another scam app
one of worst app as always pickup location is not accurate. destination place if we type particular metro station....it takes it's own while displaying. from starting same issue, either Bengaluru or Tumkur. Tumkur is a small city their also same accurate location issue.... I use this app as option when I have another trip running for my family members in another app.....
I had booked a metro ticket from Chennai Central metro to Alandur for both forward and return. at the return exit the QR code was not recognised at the gates. I was embarassed being held by security. I had to explain the booking and finally they permitted to exit.
Worst app. Zero safety for customers. Drivers demand extra fare if not accepted they are threatening. And they are doing this because the Namma Yatri customer service is horrible. They are aware that no one will respond to customer issues. Horrible customer service by this app. It has been 4 days i have raised a complaint still no response at all. Need to raise voice to ban this app and stop drivers demanding extra fare.
We had booked an outstation cab from Bangalore to Salem. The price showed was 3.3K. The cab booked last day night for the next day early morning travel (at 6:30 AM). Some driver was assigned on the night itself. But driver didn't arrive at morning 6:30. We called multiple times and no response from driver. Then driver assignment kept on changing, we called to every driver that showed in app. Finally one driver picked up the call and denied the ride by asking extra cash. Very pathetic service.

Booking a ride during peak hours is always a hassle. A no price cap model that just allows the drivers to extract an exorbitant amount by taking ill advantage of a crunch time.
It's become same like other Taxi apps, same drama, same cancelations, same unwanted waiting and same waste of time. From best to Worst. Now I am switching back to Uber, which seems far better responsive.
I saw the option to book metro tickets in Google maps so I went for it. On the last screen, after payments, it told me to download Namma Yatri to view my ticket. it should've been made very clear before hand that to view the ticket we'll need to download the app. once I downloaded the app, the link I got in sms never worked i couldn't see my ticket at all. I raised a customer support request but it was no help. Lost my money. Fix your maps integration.
There seems to be a glitch in the Namma Yatri app when a ride includes a stop before the final destination. After reaching the stop, even if the driver resumes the trip and continues driving, the time from the stop to the final destination is incorrectly counted as waiting time. This results in inaccurate fare calculations and unnecessary charges. Please investigate and fix this issue, as it affects rides with intermediate stops.
Non sense, why the fare is 20% more compared to Rapido for same destination with same vehicle mode????
it's a waste app. The driver will accept the ride and later they will cancel and don't use the app
My experience with this app was bad. but good thinh that they asure me to take action aginest the complain I made .
Driver was rude behaviour, totally disappointed with namma yatri service. Driver asking for 5000 payment. For 84 kms app shown 3400 only.

worst app with worst pricing, for cabs they are adding 30% as congestion charges, book with uber, it's the best. most of the 5 star reviews are fake here don't trust them
