The chat agent is absolutely useless. Waited 15 minutes for a human, and nothing. There's no info on the length of the queue or if you're still connected (which allows the app to stay open, so it is a massive security risk). All I wanted was a report listing all the direct debits to O2 for the last 3 years. Seems so simple! 🤷‍♂️

My wife is trying to open an account and has failed several times to verify her identity. The staff in the local branch have tried and also failed. Phone is a Google Pixel 8 but when trying to photo her driving licence the app always says too much glare no matter what we do. I tried cora but it's just a generic chat bot which does not understand my question.

Seriously, worst app I've ever seen and I've worked as a QA in dev teams building apps.

constantly updating the app with stupid and pointless 'features'. why they seem to want to add extra steps to every single process I'll never know! things that used to take 2 clicks now take 3-4 for no reason other than to waste your time. Terrible bank full of terrible people.

Crashes every time I try to sign in. Clearly there are no competent developers maintaining the app. unfortunately there's no way to give a half star rating, so I've had to give this poorly maintained worthless app a full one star which it doesn't deserve. I'd have a tiny bit more respect for the app if the support option actually connected you to a chat with a human being, not a half-baked AI chatbot, with canned responses which never actually give an answer to the one question I'm always asking

app stuck on loading screen, failed to get any further. uninstalled and reinstalled, now it says its temporarily lbocked for security reasons. . . .been like that for a week. when i click the what happens next button, it goes to a page that doesn't exist. Cora has provided no help, no phone number on the website. cant log in to website as I need the app.

Also the new UI/UX still doesn't make sense, spamming back should return me to my accounts screen. The security process to transfer money to a non-Natwest account is far too cumbersome. They're trying to force me into biometric approval, face scanning in particular. Very very poor. I would give a zero if possible.

This was a great app, easy to navigate and quick to look at accounts and transfer money, but every update seems to make it more complicated. And please get rid of the 'pots' from the homescreen, what a pointless exercise that is.....awful idea.

latest update broke the app.. please can you fix the new bugs asap.. 1. entering password is torture as it seems each character is sent to servers before appearing in the password field (delay feels like 2 sec+). then 2. app crashes after logging in.. tried stopping app force stop and clearing cache all no help. maybe it won't run on older phones but the compatibility note in the update description says it works on my phone.

Srsly outdated security thinking. Everyone should be using a password manager now but if you use a pw manager, its almost impossible for you to login on the app since every time you change context to review ur passwords, the app disrupts the process. They're trying to be clever but in doing so betrays a lack of understanding of secure flows. You basically have to have a really simple password and PIN and/or write them down to login and/or use the same password across services.

I will not be giving any online service my biometrics. No. Can you stop asking like you think I'm gonna just give in to the nagging. The answer is no. Have respect for us. Get rid of Cora. I'll talk to a person or not at all. It's a good app, if a bit redundant. Don't develop it to death. REPLY: No. Big database hacks happen all the time, banking and other vulnerabilities are worse than ever. Alao handsets are deadly unsafe. U know this.
