This new app is awful y'all can't leave well enough alone I realize there security levels but you could give a person notice before rolling out

App is awful. You can check balances (most of the time), but nothing else works. Can't change a recurring payment. Can't get push notifications.
Within my checking account, when selecting the category for each of my transactions, there are duplicates of each listed spend category, making the list super long and unruly to scroll through. Should be an easy fix, please fix it developers! 5-star app when you do!

the App says I dont exist. i do the recovery, change password, verify user ID. still says I dont exist. the webiste has no issues, just this App.

The app won't let me sign in and it's been like that for at least a week. I can sign in with the same credentials on the website so the app just literally doesn't work
I can't sign in using the app. I don't understand how I am able to sign in using any web browser but using the app I got the username and password doesn't match msg. I changed my username and password a few times and uninstall the app few times but still getting the same msg from the app. I never have this kind of problem with other banks.
what is so hard about becoming a widget on my phone? I don't understand the messages you have on here
I will never use Navy Fed again, you have no idea how many times it took a while to process my repayment on my credit card. it took so long that it will miss the due date and messed up my credit score. Because of how bad the processing on transactions it lowered my credit scores and double charged me on my purchases.

Can't update the app due to the age of my phone. This makes zero sense especially because I am on android and have never seen this for any app. Even for some apps that have been around since 2018.

Whatever attempt they have made to make it more secure has backfired. On launch I enter my login and it takes me to a sign in update screen. I click continue and it just sits and spins forever. I then have to uninstall and reinstall at which point it only works for the single login.
cant you ppl ensure our app is compatible with the device we have? now its saying it's not compatible with my device anymore!!!!
garbage. I've had the navyfed app for years on different devices, and it is no longer even decent. payment schedules glitching, pages not loading, and it's a lucky day if the app even lets me log in. shame.
About credit card accounts invisible on the app, on June 13 I fixed it with steps in Alexandro's review on May 28, 2026. I had been to the branch about this issue on June 4, clerk called customer service AND tech support, they suggested "make all accounts visible", clear browser history+cache, update, uninstall, reinstall the app, and finally recommended me to use a web browser instead of the app. I'd suggest the app-review responders to read even the reviews with more stars, it could be useful.
they changed how cash back works on my card after I've had it for years I feel cheated because I can't close it without hurting my credit but if this is how they behave I have no choice.
1 star until you change the order we transfer money between accounts! Every other banking app has you start with the account you're taking money FROM. This behavior carries over to this app and results in people moving money the wrong way, potentially overdrafting accounts because your app wants to be different and start the process with where we're moving money TO. Despite calls from users to change the way we transfer money, Navy Federal won't do it! 1 star until this is changed.
Balance transfer option no longer works since update. Really inconvenient to have to do over the phone. PLEASE FIX.
Despite being able to sign in online, I cannot sign in via the app since I've gotten my new phone.
Accounts, like your credit card, may just dissappear. no explanation. went through the support to uninstall and reinstall everything but the account is just gone from mobile. this seems to happen with every other update.
Ever since the latest update I have been unable to access my accounts. it says "We're having trouble submitting your information. Please try again" I have had to login from my computer now to check on my accounts it is extremely inconvenient.
NOT FUNCTIONAL! This app is pointless. I can do all I need from a browser which is probly the better way to go. But don't offer an app and make it feel like it's a convenience when literally the things you need to do are not working. Loan applications specifically are pointless to interact with, can't upload or download anything. as a credit union for the military, they need to 100% do better when it comes to the technology. From transfers to loans applications to similarly related functions.
3 months later and this app still crashes, why is this CU not doing anything to fix these crashes
App doesn't work. I haven't been able to log in to my account on this app in almost a year now. Total garbage.
The latest update is just trash no notifications, no automatic transactions.

It keeps on updating and making it difficult for people to use the app. Update making everything worst. Worst bank ever. System always having issues .
Push notifications, text notifications, and email notifications do not work at all. That I also can't setup a recurring auto payment from an external account is beyond ridiculous. It's 2026 and that should be the bare minimum for a banking app.

I have much better functionality with Truist mobile banking app and am slowly moving more and more of my money there. Constant bugs, and the UI disaster that was the 2024 update hasn't changed much. Original review was in 24', now 26' still waiting on those new features to be improved. Truist app still works better.
I wish Navy Federal would step it up as a whole with this app and their ATMs. It's always doing updates and maintenance but doesn't get better. When I try to switch between accounts something always goes wrong, and not only can't I get to the account I want to switch to but I can't get back to the one I was originally in. I have to log out and start all over. It's not intuitive at all, and sometimes there's even issues logging in period. There's delays in updating deposits and charges sometimes.

credit missing, I'm not able to see my credit cards or anything within the credit category within the app. NFCU chat wasn't helpful either.

I'm not able to view my certificates in the app at all. I called support about it months ago but nothing's been done to fix the issue as of the most recent update.
Bring back the widget, please.
