Keine Kulanz bei Nichtnutzung - Schlechter Kundenservice Nach einer vergessenen Testphase wurden mir sofort 30 € für ein Jahresabo abgezogen. Ich habe den Kundenservice kontaktiert und erklärt, dass ich die App überhaupt nicht nutze und das Abo nicht wollte. Leider wird hier stur auf die AGB verwiesen, statt kundenorientiert zu handeln. Dass man für eine Leistung bezahlen muss, die man nachweislich nie in Anspruch genommen hat, ist einfach nur enttäuschend.

heavenly desert in kingsbury asks they will press reedem in my phone,although I pressed reedem button in front of the guy who was serving food. i told him I just pressed here infront of you, then he explaims me you need to book the deal first, which was already booked by me yesterday. they think we are illeterate and don't know to operate the phone!!! and second excuse what they are giving is that they need a code which pop ups!!!! so that they can verify but there was no code!!!

really bad app and worse company. If you use it by creating fake profiles over and over for those new account deals with debit visa so they can't actually charge you it's nice, but idk if you're F'ing them or the restaurants.

Copy/paste replies and dodgy business practices. Best to avoid completely. Any customers should beware!
I am extremely frustrated with NeoTaste. I explicitly canceled my membership a day before my free trial ended, as I don't eat out often, yet I was still charged. Their system failed to track my cancellation. When I reached out, support refused to acknowledge the technical error on their end. Instead of helping, customer service just copy-pasted their terms, refused my refund, and rudely declared the matter closed. This feels like a scam. Avoid this app and their deceptive billing practices!
Avoid, as others have said there is no reminder that the free trial is ending and they will charge you for a whole year, no flexibility and will not charge you for a month and do a partial refund. Very very bad customer service, who won't budge on anything and no way to make a complaint or escalate it so the decision stands

i did not get any warning reminder about my trail version going to expire and they refuse to issue a refund for me ...i never used the app for any deals ..so frustrating
Horrible experience. got no warning and got charged 35.88 for a subscription I did not want, emailed them and they did not issue it to me, I cancelled the subscription after and nothing happened
Scam app no trial period ending notice
Signed up to their newsletter and to be reminded before the subscription was automatically renewed. Was never sent a reminder and charged. Company refused to acknowledge this or to give me a refund even though I immediately cancelled afterwards.
it is a scam guys. they trick you into trail period and if it by any chanc not cancelled you will be charged and then how many times you try to contact support or tell that you are not satisfied and or want to cancel the active mebership always a bot with the same answers responds to you and if you face a problem it is impossible to get it sorted by a real person.

Ich habe Freunde geworben und dafür Coupons in der App erhalten (ohne Code und die konnte man manuell aktivieren für einen Monat kostenlos). Diese gespeicherten Werbungen sind jetzt nach einem App-Update weg. Das ist sehr unverschämt.
You receive bad treatment from most restaurants. most deals are vague and not worth it. I cancelled the subscription and was still charged and they still refuse to refund me!

AVOID! No reminder that the free trial was ending. No cooling-off period. No flexibility. The subscription renewed without proper notice, I cancelled immediately, and despite never using the service, they refused to refund. Hiding behind terms and conditions does not make this fair. Under UK consumer law, charges should be clear and transparent - this was not. If you sign up, watch the dates extremely carefully because they will take payment directly from bankcard. Not a subscription on Google.

Doesn't accept my phone number for verification. Even with the dev suggestions it's still not working.
No possibility to cancel the yearly membership immediately after it started by mistake, combined with no notification about ending of the trial period. Even after a request to customer support minutes after the automatic payment - zero customer centricity and the only interest is to get money from idle subscriptions.
The price is high. The deals are not particularly good, you can often find similar for free. The interface is clunky and unintuitive. The app only covers very limited locations, doesn't mention this clearly in advance and doesn't have a clear road map for future locations. The spam you with emails. The app is overrated.

I tried to cancel my Neotaste trial before it ended, but apparently it didn't go through. I only found out when my card was charged for annual subscription. I haven't used any benefits since, but support refused to refund me. There was also no proper notification/email about the trial ending or subscription renewal. Very frustrating
Auto renewal converted my free trial into a paid subscription. I noticed the charge the same day, cancelled immediately, and never used the service. Despite this, NeoTaste refused to refund and relied strictly on their terms, with no flexibility or goodwill. Support was polite but simply closed the matter. Be very careful to cancel well before the trial ends. If you miss it, even with no usage, do not expect a refund.

Subscription is impossible to cancel speak to your bank !!!!They don't tell you this but when you got to the place of food you order from they state that there's limited coupons available so upon scanning at the other end it states unavailable!!!! Absolute scam and the employees on the side of the business do not know how it works .DO NOT PURCHASE THE APP AND PAY FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION. Based on your response will I now get a refund?
The ad. Seemed misleading to me; it didn't say anything about a premium subscription. There's nothing you can really get without doing the premium subscription. Which completely defeats the purpose of using an app advertised as money saving.

This one looks like a scam!! For 3 days now I am trying to cancel my trial membership. The app does not allow it. I am getting the message: Something went wrong. Try again later" all over again. No one answers Mails - There is no support on weekend. p.s. please do not answer with the instructions how to cancel it in three steps like you did on the other rewievs...no one is idiot here.
Extrem undurchsichtig gestaltet, was den Preis angeht und mehr wie ein Food-Abo, bei dem man nicht weiß was man kriegt. Auch die Werbung, die das als Plattform bewirbt, auf der man einfach günstige deals findet ist mehr als irreführend.
jahrelanger Kunde der ersten Stunde. jedes Jahr meinen Gutschein gekauft zur Verlängerung meines Jahresabo und eben beim Auspacken entdeckt, dass es plötzlich (wieso auch immer) nur 10 Monate sind. Dieses Abo wurde definitiv zum letzten Mal verlängert.
Many of the businesses that are listed in Brighton & Hove just straight up refuse to let you redeem any of the deals. I fed this information back to NeoTaste many times via the app, but I guess they don't care about user experience at all, as I didn't get a response. FYI - If you like the app but think it's too pricey, just say that you're unsubscribing, and they'll drop the price significantly 1 page later. I hate this practice... just imagine how many people are paying more than they need to!

You can't use it before you pay. Whatever offer I selected it said "unlock with premium".

need to pay to use the app, but then some restaurants that are on "offer", when we went there, they said they dont offer the discount. but we wasted our time to get to that restaurant and only to find that they dont do it? so what's the point of paying for the app, if we cant trust that all restaurants in the list are on offer?
