This app completely broke my machine. Now even making a simple cup of coffee feels like a nightmare.
Don't bother until its fixed. When you try to pair your machine, the app states it's already paired. 1 hour with support and nothing accomplished.
I bought the new Vertuo Up, but the app does not want to connect to it properly. Even the Nespresso customer service was unable to help as the device is to new and they have no troubleshooting guide for this yet.

Doesn't seem to connect to machine unless the stars and planets align on the solstice with your crossed fingers and toes while clenching a four leaf clover..

Doesn't Work. Says already paired. Then says my internet connection isn't available even when my phone is on WiFi. Not sure of the benefits of this app or the Verturo's wifi capabilities but I can drink coffee without it. Don't bother downloading.
I love nespresso coffee but this app is poorly made and full of glitch , at first it does look fancy but work 1 time of 10 even after clear cach or force stop.. its sad realy .
App says "already paired" so you reset the machine and it still says already paired? WiFi fine, Bluetooth fine - so why won't it pair?
The App is designed for 2.4ghz WiFi only which is ancient. I currently have 6E mesh WiFi, after much faffing about it finally connected, however the Nespresso (not very) Smart app had an update, and since then it's not been possible to reconnect! Disappointing.
Old app could connect to my device in 5 minutes. This app only throws errors. And they also deprecated the old app which was flawless
not sure why this app needed to be created. the previous app worked fine. this one refuses to connect to the same router that the previous app worked fine on. same machine used as well, vertuo pop+.

Utter rubbish. I wasted 2 hours so far trying to get my 'UP' machine connected. and I work in I.T. !
since updating to this latest App, I have lost connection with my Vertuo machine and customer service cannot help. Absolutely rubbish. Previous App sometimes dropped out but I was always able to reconnect.

False advertisement. The new Vertuo Up machine does not connect to wifi (2.4Ghz) as advertised, no reply from the company. This is consistent with similar reviews here. Do not waste your money!
The machine always says "already paired." when you do the factory reset, and unpair it feom your phone it still says "maxhine already paired." Even with customer support no help. This app is a uselss feature and gives no benefit to the machine. over hyped machine with all these non working or glitching features. neighbour has samr issue so it not just me. id give it negative stars if i could.

spent so much time getting internet set up and it connect for only a second!. going back to the store going to complain in person because nobody cares about the bad reviews online.
Garbage. How can the issues with this app be ongoing for so long and yet nothing is done to fix? Billions of dollars in revenue, and this is what the customer experience is like? No matter what I do, I cannot connect this app to my 2.4 network. Nothing fixes the solution. What a waste. Getting something different.
Since being forced to swap to this new app my machine won't connect to WiFi. From the reviews I see this issue has been going on for over a year. Absolutely ridiculous for a company of this size.
One of the many Nespresso apps that are absolutely horrible. Please, put a few dollars in this end of the business.

I don't know what the point was creating this new app was for??? this app never connects to the machine, no matter which phone or tablet that I'm using. even if I restart my phone, it never finds the machine. I would love to clean and descale the machine using the app: but no, it refuses to connect. it's even worse when I bring my machine to someone else's house and try to make a coffee there, it's impossible to make a coffee manually, because you have to connect to the app to make a cup ☕

this app is useless! looking over all of the reviews and how many are negative you would think they would get someone in there that could actually fix the app so it works. I'm going to return my machine because of this terrible app. I've spent 2 hours trying to get it to work and each step of progress is just another problem. from what I've heard people who can get it working they have to redo everything each time they try to use the app. technology is too good for this to be happening!!

Terrible, only supports a 2.4ghz route so I would have to slow down my internet speed just to run a coffee machine? No thanks, also having 2 different apps now instead of one combined is utter garbage. Instead of just updating the original app I've had to install 2 and remove the now defunct one

you basically can't really do anything with the app other than put more water or less water in your coffee...it's the opposite of smart

never worked and then they say, new version even better and still cannot connect or if it connects it drops connection surprisingly bad for. big company but the use case is for them to add more adds to you and pester you with reminders somehow other reviews are not shown for me but I checked online and all I can see is one star reviews so Nespresso wake up!
The machine won't connect to WiFi with the app.
won't connect to machine. it doesn't work
Previously my machine was connected but now it has dropped that connection and won't reconnect. We have tried everything, followed all instructions and even rang customer support who talked us through how to do it but it still won't reconnect.
This is hands down one of the worst app experiences my family has ever have to deal with It was like all my gosh dang and you want to like run away screaming and crying all sad and depressed feeling anxious nowhere to run nor to hide no where to go the negative feeling inside like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde so I'll leave it up to you to decide for now I'm going to go hide.
App instantly errors on sign up
The app is extremely unstable. Every time it is opened, it prompts me to add a new machine. It is unbelievable that a company of this size cannot deliver a functional app.
machine won't connect to the wifi
not working anymore. I had my machine connected and everything was working... probably after an update, the machine disappeared and now it won't connect to my wifi back again
Terrible app. Half the time it won't load. If you do eventually get it to connect and work properly, they'll update the app and you'll have to start over again. I just wanted to adjust coffee volumes, why make a separate app for that? Go back to the old version where one app did it all, it was bad, but at least it worked.
