Very disappointing experience with . I was charged in a foreign currency, and the pause function failed multiple times without clear notification. After parking the bikes in what appeared to be a valid public parking area, the rides ended automatically, so I assumed everything was fine. Later, I was suddenly charged around €500 for “parking outside the allowed area,” despite receiving no warning or restriction in the app. The system feels unfair and misleading to customers.
The app is charging me a parking fee two days in a row despite leaving the bike IN the designated area. Don't download it now and don't use it - they have a bug in the code. I was super pleased with their offers and even have a subscription plan.

Bestätigungsmails kommen nicht an, erneut senden klappt nicht aufgrund eines bugs, die App kannste technisch knicken. Der support braucht Wochen um zu antworten, auch hier bekommt man bei Kontaktaufnahme kein Ticket als Bestätigung, dass meine e-mail eingegangen ist. Nach monatelangem warten habe ich mich aufgrund einer Hochschule direkt an diese gewandt. Sie haben mir bei einem Problem geholfen, indem sie sich mit nextbike in Verbindung gesetzt haben, weil der Support mir nicht helfen konnte.
Required a £5 deposit to open the account, and my account is not functioning. I contacted customer support but it hasn't been sorted or refunded.

Ovu kompaniju vode ljudi koji nisu nimalo povezani sa ostatkom svijeta, pokušao sam uplatiti 10 eura preko google paya preko revoluta, kada sam potvrdio kupnju u revolutu mi je reklo da u nextbike aplikaciji dovršim kupnju, onda kada sam se vratio u aplikaciju me opet tražilo da platim i nije mi dalo da dovršim sa plaćanjem, pokušao sam sedam puta i nije mi uspjeso sedam puta, na kraju sada trebam hodat doma,neka se vlasnici srame i neka se developeri još više srame. Sram vas bilo.
The app shows bikes, but all bikes at that station are reserves. The app doesn't tell you that and you walk to that station for nothing. All high traffic stations are empty during rush hour and there's no service to return those bikes there when they are most needed. It would be good if simple things weren't overlooked.
They charge you €23 because their bikes are broken and the locks don’t close. Be very careful !!
a frustratingly dumb app
Waste of time and money. I wish I'd have walked. It probably would've been quicker given how limited the options of places you're allowed to park are. The first bike I rented was in bad condition so I had to return but still got charged, just for riding for 5 minutes. Don't waste your time or money, it's almost as slow as walking, but as expensive as driving.
Fahrrad lies sich nicht mehr entsperren und wurde dann im Anschluss mit 20€ Strafgebühr für unrechtmäßiges Parken versehen. Kundensupport wenig einsichtig.
with the new update my yearly membership has been lost. cannot login anymore neither support helps with this issue.

Just too many bugs that have to be fixed. On Android platform at least. Also dont hesitate to contact support in case there would be incorrect penalty charge related to GPS imprecision. They are willing to return money after verification of situation.
I am entering the number in international format (+359XXXXXXXXX), but the system still shows it as invalid and does not allow me to continue with the registration.
poor service: 50Ron fee if you drop bike not in a station, low number of drop off stations and locared in silly places. This service is only usable as toy by kids that run them herathic but not by people that actually need a ride. Stupid

don't download if you don't want to always be charged high fees resulting from defective bikes and app bugs. plus really bad customer support
literally trying to charge 2x20 euros for not returning bikes to the station. we have returned bikes to the exact same spot, parked in the same way. I was going to leave the best review ever for the most enjoyable ride, but this has turned out just a scam, please think twice before hiring the bikes
Even if the bikes were ok (they're not), i give them 0 stars or less if I could. Support will never reply to you, despite emails, tickets etc. After every ride, they block my account and I am forced to unblock it by paying 1-5 BAM before every ride. Horrible experience for me
I wanted to rent a bike in Alba Iulia,but the code i entered doesn't correspond with the bikes code i wanted to take,i dont know if it was my mistake or a bug in the app, anyways,i have tried to call support and enter the code to the bike but the bot of the call says the code does not exist and then proceeds to hang up,i hope you will fix this problem,the ride has been running for almost 44 hours.I expect a response and a solution to my problem,if not,i will be forced to take legal action.
Horrible trash, no customer service. Total rip-off. The app is full of bugs, and then they charge you random astronomical fines for their bugs.
Die Geolokalisierung funktioniert nicht richtig, und deshalb wird dir ständig Parkgebühr berechnet, obwohl das Fahrrad gar nicht in der entsprechenden Zone abgestellt wurde. Das muss unbedingt behoben werden!
Does not work. Says will send verification code to phone, but none come through
SCAM! Charged me 57€ for a bike that never unlocked. Instead of a real refund, they held my money hostage as "app credit". I've called 4 times in 2 months. They lie, stall, and refuse to let me speak to a supervisor. They even ignored my formal legal notice! Their bikes are constantly broken too-refusing to lock while the app keeps charging you. Reported to French Fraud Control (DGCCRF) and doing a bank chargeback. Do not download, they will steal your money!
EXPECT HUGE ADDITIONAL COSTS While I like the idea of the app of providing an affordable alternative to the likes of Lime, bolt, voi & co. unfortunately this promise isn't fulfilled. Because of issues with the app I time and again have to pay huge amounts (15€) for a 4 minute ride, because it doesn't register the return. The problem is, the app is generally so buggy, that it isn't always possible to see right away if your return was registered or not. Support was not helpful.
Tried to use a bike in Cyprus. Can't create an account with email, just phone number. Tried both Romanian and UK numbers, didn't get any code.
The support is terrible. They give confusing and inconsistent information and seem to look for any way to charge you more than they should.

The app is not handy, I couldn't top up my account and I tried to write this to customer service but the error says it couldn't load. meaning the app is not handy and bored using it. I recommend updating the app.
I encountered significant difficulties while attempting to process a payment, as I was prompted to add a payment method 11 times, resulting in 1 Euro charges for each attempt, none of which were successful. Neither Google Pay, PayPal, nor my credit card were accepted. This application appears to be uniquely problematic regarding payment processing, leading me to question its legitimacy.
be careful. The vehicles can be locked and the ride can end everywhere you want even in a no parking zone and then they will fine you. be careful with your parking because that's how they make their money, through fining
My account was blocked due to 'outstanding amount' but the one rental I did was already charged via my Paypal & deducted in my bank account. When I tried connecting a new payment method, nothing works although I have most of what was offered. The app needs major improvement.
they make money on people returning the bike in wrong areas, even though everything is geo-located and it would be possible to not let the bike be returned in the wrong location. a big company, claiming to provide a social service scamming people blatantly 👍👍
Phone died outside a station, doesn't support logging in with username/password only by phone number, got told by support to write an email so I don't get charged the additional 15 eur, but i still got charged regardless.
Nette Idee, furchtbare Umsetzung. Beim schönen Wetter wollte ich heute mit Rad statt U-Bahn zum Bahnhof fahren. Ich habe gesehen, in der Nähe steht ein Fahrrad zur Verfügung, das ich für 15 Minuten reserviert habe. Leider war das Rad weit und breit nicht zu finden. Auch andere Fahrräder, die ich laut App auf meinen Weg zum Bahnhof hätte finden sollen, waren nicht da. Letztendlich habe ich von meinem Zug nur den hinteren Teil gesehen.
