Battery hog! I only became aware of this after installing it when I kept getting continuous notifications that "nextrain keeps stopping" even though the app wasn't open. On checking battery usage stats, it's used 17% of my battery despite the fact I only had it open for about 3 minutes to have a look at it! Shame as it's a nice idea.

Where's the widget support as mentioned in the screenshot?

Has no data for Northern Ireland stations so presumably the description should be "2500 stations around GB" rather than "around the UK".

Your app is and was the alternative on day one; it was brilliant, but all various changes are unnecessary. The alternative was National Rail on day one, and this app was light years then ahead of it. I'll remind you my rating was a five and would be more at the beginning, maybe 4 years ago. Not sure why the app needs constant tinkering to a point that the font is unreadable. Happily to pay to get rid of the ads. You assume we want you to work for nothing when we just want the app to function

App was very good until the most recent updates, now it won't move past the initialising location screen. You used to be able to use it without having to activate any location settings, no good at all now.

Does nothing but show you dashboards, can't even filter home station. Changing the colours works though.

Please allow set station departure board as default, but click on train to show route timings, AND ALLOW BACK GESTURE TO GO BACK TO STATION DEPARTURE BOARD

This has potential however the interface doesn't show properly on tablet and cuts the text and it would be nice to have a an option to pay a 1 off fee to remove ads

Following the app update 15 July 2024, the font size has become irregular and the text has "missing" lines through it. This is my experience on my work phone which has Android 8.1 (but it is fine on my personal phone Android 14)

I had high hopes, as this app looks like it would do exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately it consistently crashes as soon as a open it.

Great idea, love how it's replicates real National Rail signage but the UX is a terrible. No idea what any of the icons do, virtually no help (no one reads intro explainers), non standard navigation. Also no widget, really missed an opportunity here.
