Very poor database - I can't even select something as simple as a banana!
Its really clunky to use. I'll stick with it for a bit longer, but it could be so much better. Some of the advice is unproven, eg use low fat dairy. What about all the chemicals added to make low fat dairy feel and taste better? Advice to use the chemical vegan foods. No advice about carb, fat, or protein content, only calories. The calorie finder is a joke. Look up Apple, first item on the list is dried pineapple. An actual apple is far down the list. The NHS could and should do better

I need access to a good calorie counter with an expansive food bank but the app is missing this vital component. Yes, you can work it out and add items for yourself but if other apps can provide a quick, easy, and user friendly way to count calories, why not the NĤS. NHS weight loss services are a shambolic postcode lottery, with little support available to those who are trying to take charge of their own health. This app turned out to be a disappointing a let down - not exactly motivating
While the principle is good, the complexity with which food can be searched and selected is beyond comprehension. I added a banana to my cereal this morning. I searched for a banana and there wasn't one. Banana milkshake? Yes. Plain ordinary banana? No. I can see this is aimed at people who eat pre-prepared food, fast food and ready made items from supermarket shelves, but please, a banana is a simple staple. I was so disappointed that I've deleted the app. Come on developer, catch up.
I downloaded this with hopes but have been disappointed. The 'plan' seems to be to eat less calories. I tried to enter my food but the database is very limited and I was left guessing. I gave up trying. I didn't find it had people like me in mind. The image of the 'get active' part was of a clearly fit and active amputee. My own disabilities are very different and I'm older. I'm sure there must be better apps out there. I need help.
