I just got this app so I could chat with friends I make on a new online game on my switch. Sadly so far I have not yet been able to use it at all because I put in username and right password, it won't work, I try my email address with the right password, it still won't work. I tried it all on my actual switch console and it works, so why can't I get this thing to work? I'm pretty disappointed and about to delete this app from my phone if it can't be fixed.
they should call it the nintendo switch 2 app, only works on switch 2

This system is a lie every time I try to get a picture off of my or a video off of my switch to and just fails all of the youtube videos , stupid
You're slow
NookLink is the only service not working for me but it is the sole reason I downloaded this app. No matter what I do it's stuck infinitely loading. I don't know what bugs they "fixed" but it 100% wasn't this one.
It won't let me upload screenshots and videos from Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream!
This app needs to fix the bug that causes it to open a non-functional blood blank grey screen when you open it, requiring a force stop to fix. It's extremely irritating.
Do NOT get any of the Nintendo apps. The company is more focused on suing any and every one that sneezes. I wouldn't use any product by them less you want to be sued to. it seems way more important to them to sue people than anything productive. (WARNING! The app crashed constantly. it got so bad I had to reset my phone. pathetic)
Not offering monthly use of the expansion should be criminal. I thought you guys couldn't get any greedier.
doesn't work on phones with Magisk installed
As a non mobile device owner being able to run this app on other devices was a lifesaver however they made it so this is no longer possible dont reccomend.

At this day and age, not having a shop and an easier way to manage wishlist items feels off. Every other console maker allows us to do that, but Nintendo. It's great for friends, but this app is severely limited.

THEIVES... WANTING TO SUE BUT GIVE NOTHING BACK TO THE CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY CHARGED US WHAT THEY HAD TO PAY IN TARRIFS WHICH WERE A BUSINESS RIGHT OFF... SO WHY WONT YOU GIVE US BACK THAT MONEY? YOU KNOW THE MONEY YOU ARE CLAIMING YOU SHOULDNT HAVE PAID THAT THE CUSTOMERS PAID... THIS IS WHY I REFUSE AND TELL EVERYONE TO NOT BUY A SWITCH 2 AMONG OTHER REASONS. THIS IS WHY I PLAY OTHER CONSOLES AND PC MORE NOW.
Pointless app.
They/you cannot connect with anyone unless adding themselves back first/add you, then you can't talk to anyone unless you practically already have s system set up, reporting does nothing since they don't punish anyone with vulgar usernames, they don't care about bagging or genuinely making the game impossible to play. don't get this game unless you're very easily able to ignore rage-play or just able to enjoy the game without try-hards.
kind of angry that, yes, it connects to the correct switch, but it won't let me disconnect to an old game account. Example. I had restarted my animal crossing new horizons game, then i found out the app allows you to, if saved up, to buy special items on the app. only to realize that it's connected to the old one I deleted.
was a great app but the new update has made it unless you cant access any of the game store anymore or your account/family group settings or your membership stuff now

was hoping to use the upload feature to send pictures from switch to my phone so I could free up space on my switch only to discover it's a Nintendo switch 2 exclusive. if I was rich enough to buy a switch 2, I would just buy a bigger sd card. Switch 2 sucks.

NookLink keeps deleting my island newspapers, saying it's because the time on my switch has changed. I haven't changed the time on my switch, and this is really starting to annoy me. I'm playing the game normally and uploading my play data regularly, and it's acting like I've done something wrong
why are these features not on the game console or the game software? it's bad enough we waited so long for a 2010 experience in 2026.
no tomodoachi life living the dream
Switch online recommended this app for me. But when I pull it up, it shows my old island on the regular switch. Not on the switch2, because this app is not compatible with the switch 2 sorry, I'm talking about for animal crossing.

起動しない 最近起動しなくなった。アプリを立ち上げるとしばらくクルクル回ってそのまま起動しない。 前は問題なく起動してたよ。 でもフレンドがオンラインになった際の通知はきます。この任天堂のアプリのみ起動しないです。 改善して欲しい。
Basically useless
I definitely remember being able to just look at screenshots i took on my switch and now it says I have to upload them to view
Not great. I started this thinking it would be similar to the PS app but I was surprised at the lack of features. Uploading my Switch 2 media and being able to view my friends list/activity is useful for sharing clips and keeping up to date - but that's kind of it. There's no eShop access or way to download games remotely, and the game specific services, which seem to be a big feature of the app are limited, also requiring Switch Online.
Downloaded the app and it was easy to log in. Unfortunately, that was it for anything workable on this app for me. I downloaded this specifically for Nooklink and made sure to upload data from ACNH. Nooklink refuses to load, it's been stuck on the loading screen for far too long. Uninstalled after two weeks of trying to troubleshoot.
