Had an online consultation with Dr. Avinash on Niva Bupa Health on 27 June. Tests were advised for my 60-year-old father, but two days later we're still waiting for the written prescription needed to book them. I've called customer support twice, and nothing has been done. Apparently, "please wait" is the treatment plan. The lack of urgency and concern for patients after the consultation is disappointing and reflects poorly on patient care. I wonder do they even care for the patient or money???
Worst app. Even though my internet connection is fast, this app is very slow. In reimbursement, there is no field called discharge date. when i tried to proceed, it was asking me to fill the discharge date. How can I fill the discharge date when there is no such field at all???

worst app ever seen, not user-friendly
I suggest never buying any plans from niva bupa. They are just looting you.Worst insurance company. They are denied refund at policy cancellations. I complained to the National consumer through WhatsApp mode then we refunded my amount. They are not following their policy norms. Worst company and thanks to the National consumer helpline for helping me.

Their customer support is very poor, and they hardly respond when you need help. Once they receive your premium, they disappear. Think carefully before downloading this app or buying a policy. If you ever need to make a claim, you may end up with stress and disappointment instead of support
NEVER EVER GO FOR THIS. First they will refuse your cash free treatment and if we apply for reimbursement, they will ask so many documents which they did not mention in the policy document. Even if you submit all those documents they will ask for more documents and prolong the claim and at the end reject the claim with some unacceptable reasons. So NEVER EVER go for it.
6 month back i purchased a new car at that time ur insurance company they did insurance car emi benefits of hospitilazation they had told for one day one emi benefits and for 2days 2 benefits they had told me i had got kidney surgery costed 85k in that 34k they will claim had told now they are not even claiming 1 emi of 34k they are rejecting it i had given all the documents required still they have rejected this all is fake and fraud and a big scam i just wanted to tell i buy wrong insurance
Don't buy any policy from niva Bupa. at the time of claim, they are directly rejected claims without giving any reasons. they never visit hospital for checking hospitalization of patients and without knowing actual condition, directly rejects claims trying to settle claim since 1 month, visited to office, submitted all required documents, still claim rejected without giving any intimation or reasons. very bad experience, never suggesting to anybody.
Worst app and website as well. I purchased a plan and first we need to pay. Once paymnet completed, ee receive a link to fill up the deatils and that page crashes. If we contact customer care they are helpless and initiated refund. I am waiting from 12 days still no update. Customer care agnets will close the chat and cases by themselves even if its not resolved.

This has been the worst insurance experience I've had. My claim reimbursement was not provided, and the entire process felt unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. Instead of supporting policyholders during a claim, the company seems to keep them engaged in endless follow-ups and documentation. I would not recommend this insurer to anyone. In fact, my brother was considering purchasing a policy from Niva, but after sharing my experience and feedback, I advised him to explore other insurance

very bad experience regarding cash less claim
worst insurance company. no real customer care person can be connected. always pushes customer to chat bot which fail to solve any problem. even there you ask how to make a complaint, then again you are directed to the same page. it's useless and fraud. I wasted 3 years for such a bogus company. I don't know why IRDAI & policy bazar deals with niva bupa. you can never file a complaint as you never get verification code on mobile.
very third class app as my policy are not open upon clicking and my base policy are not sync if there is negative star I will give them -10

I have been trying since past one month to connect to customer service representatives. insta assist is not able to address my problem related to claim. additional documents have been required by niva bupa but there is no such options for uploading the same. pathetic app. God knows whether this app is pathetic or the whole company is.
मैने 26-07-2022 से 2027 तक फैमिली हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस पॉलिसी लिया है आजतक सब ठीक था लेकिन अब नई पॉलिसी मे बिना मुझे कोई सुचना दिये मेरी पॉलिसी से मेरे 22 वर्ष के बेटे का नाम हटा दिया। सालाना हेल्थ चैकअप के लिए जो कर्मचारी मेरे घर सैम्पल लेने घर पहुँचा उसे खून निकालने के लिए सुई लगाना नही आता। कम्पनी का सम्बन्धित विभाग शिकायत दर्ज करने मे असमर्थ होने की बात कर रहा है। यह कम्पनी सर्विस के नाम पर लुट कर रही है।
If you're looking for an insurance provider that can test your patience to its absolute limits, this is the one. We spent an entire day waiting for a simple approval letter with no response, no updates, and no sense of urgency from the team. The app is slow, the process is painfully inefficient, and customer support seems nonexistent when you actually need help. We purchased Reassure 3.0 Black expecting peace of mind, but all we got was frustration and wasted time.

Never buy Niva Bupa policy. Cashless claim was rejected twice even when the patient was hospitalized and receiving treatment. Very poor claim support and disappointing customer service. Completely dissatisfied with the experience.

I booked a consultation on 9:55 pm today. I got consultation id, but doctor didn't contected mi till now, no any alternative solution is available, I have reassure 2.0 titanium plan which is top variants. Too Bad service. Shame on Niva bupa
there is no option to select international travel insurance. i bought the policy and wanted to make changes n there i no option on the app. customer care not able to find policy inspite of guving all details. there is no option to give negative feedback. otherwise i would have given in minus.
Worst app you will not find a doctor while booking cash-less. If you file a claim, Your claim will be rejected due to incomplete documentation (If you have proof of payment). There is no customer care support. Please do not take any health OPD policy.
worst health app never seen in my life, unfortunately took policy for 3 years. OPD search will not work, second they will not cover opd in major multi speciality hospitals and charge 20% co pay for reimbursement. Relationship manager is one of the waste guy.
Niva bupa insurance is such a scam, don't ever trust them. Changing conditions is such a cheap trick they can use? I wish I had someone to warn me before paying this insurance.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Niva Bupa Health Insurance My health insurance claim was rejected despite submitting all required documents. As a policyholder, I expected support during a medical emergency, but instead I faced delays, stress, and an unsatisfactory resolution.In my personal experience, the claim process was frustrating and I am not satisfied with the service I received. Because of this experience, I would not recommend this policy to my friends and family.

extremely horrible experience with Niva Bupa. They seem to lack any ethics. They sell sr citizen health insurance, decline it for ridiculous reasons and even after repeated follow-ups donot return you premium amount easily. at the last moment they ask for some other details and extend the date of returning the money each time. their support is non existent in this case as the otp for such cases never reaches. The Grievance Redressal Team ignores emails and closes tickets.
