Videos won't load at all on the app, they work fine through the browser but every time I try to watch anything it just shows a black screen and the progress bar skips to the end
It worked fine when I downloaded it and signed up. then I got daily messages saying I needed to use the app or it would cancel my membership. (Id been using it every day, and continued to do that) after a few days it canceled and refunded my membership. id like to use the app, but it doesnt look like ill be able to. would give a much higher rating if it let me use the service past day 4.
Abysmal service. Videos buffer every other second despite no such issue with any other streaming service app.

They took a very good app and changed it to a very poor one. If you like watching individual matches, you'll love it. if you like watching full events without having to push 'play' before every match on the card, you won't like this at all. I'd give this ZERO stars, if possible...
this is a terrible app. you can't watch a full event straight through. you have to go match by match.
ZERO STARS. NJPW does not care about their fans or this app any longer. It is non functioning and filled with bugs. All this for a price increase. I highly recommend you to CANCEL your service and boycott this horrible promotion. Again, NJPW are scam artists and DO NOT CARE TO FIX THIS SERVICE. NJPW WORLD IS THE WORST STREAMING SERVICE I'VE EVER USED.
Can't open the app.
App worked for one day before giving me APP BLOCKED message about some display settings.
I thought it would be cool to watch some Japanese subtitled content until I discovered I'd have to subscribe & pay upfront beforehand. 0 stars
Splits events into individual matches, does not auto play next match if you are using cast function. Does not default English commentary if English is selected in preferences. If you open the match, play, then switch to English, then cast, it resets to Japanese. Honestly prefer using the website over this. Have to use it if you like njpw as there is no other legal way to watch. Do better.
No longer works on mobile. Desktop version is also inferior to the old NJPW World
Now it's terrible, as a long term subscriber I find myself with an account that says it is live and valid until 30/01 but a few days ago would only play certain paid content. Now that has changed to only playing free content. Contacting them for help is pointless as they clearly do not care. They have increased the price and made it an horrible experience to use. Very disappointed.
Still not working on Nvidia Shield.
I've had a new Japan subscription for years, had to update my payment method about a month ago and seemed ok. Apparently the payment method was not accepted as I can't watch the videos, but when I try to re-subscribe it tells me I already have an active subscription. But if I try to watch a video it prompts me to select the subscription, which I do and again I get the active subscription message, so it's a loop of being told I need to subscribe then being told I'm already subscribed.
Terrible app keeps cutting out the love feed. Your better off stealing the show.
I set it to english commentary for wrestle kingdom 18 not functioning at all.. Your app is broken..
I wish we had the choice to go back & use the website. There was tons of matches on the old site. The calendar was perfect. I just had to push the past button & could go back for years. The app cuts out in the middle of streaming. Feels like there's less english comentary, less choices. It was easy to find it on the website. I can't even get picture in picture for this app. I was hoping to see old tours. When I search it always says no result.
Bare bones and it won't let me cancel anywhere.
barely functional, finally added a speed adjustment option, but thats about it. no scan bar for live feeds, more buffering pauses that usual, no more low quality feed for mobile. eats through data like mad on the standard feed which is i assume the old high quality.

A great service with an amazing back catalog, but the new app can sometimes be unusable. For example, one time it randomly decided that I had watched all matches in a show and so when I clicked on one to watch, it honoured the progress bar and put me right at the end for a second before moving to the next match, which also started right at the end before moving into the next. Some significant software design flaws that need to be ironed out
Decent when live but terrible for casting and rewatching. Splitting shows into 'episodes' doesn't work when there is no 'watch all function'. The time bar also doesn't vanish. This could and should be so much better.
big step down from previous sites and not really what was promised. it works but not very intuitive, no offline play options, need to reset the language for every match as you replay, archive is terrible and they raised the sub price. feels really under done.
.You've been double charging me the last couple months .You need to fix this app AGAIN!!!! . I've been trying to watch the rest of the new japan cup 2024 and it stopped posting matches after day 6 but the tournament is still going on . Stop advertising shows and not posting them . You need somebody else to handle that app
I have the app on my tablet and I liked it at first, but now, not so much. What I don't understand is if I want to finish watching a show (Wrestle Kingdom 18 for example), the playback isn't available and I have to subscribe. I'm already paying for the service, so why should I have to "subscribe" just to finish watching an event? That's stupid!
