Back to one star again, Hong Kong esims don't work at all, struggled a lot with China too, overall unreliable Troubleshooting steps do nothing was left stranding more than once

Speed it crape when you choose unlimited data because they use a different internet provider and tunnel your data through a different country with limited speed at 1MB, making it useless... Like now I am in South America, the app makes my data go through their server in Belgium, making the speed ultra slow. Also you need to change settings in phone network settings all the time when installing their eSIM, doesn't work straight away when installing the eSIM
Sadly having a horrible experience with this App. Got the Europe 35 country deal and it's just a headache and keeps getting worse and worse as you use it and change countries. To the unfortunate point where for the last countries it just does not work. Haven't had anything in Germany and Austria. It just switches on and off and drains my battery in 2 hours and still, no data whatsoever. I really tried using this service, and I guess it only really worked out for me once upon a time :(
Such a scam! They offer a free 1 GB trial eSIM but after account creation there was just the message you can't have it and it was marked as claimed even I never had an account before.

I have paid for Unlimited 30 days. i am now away and unable to have use of my phone. I was not given an EU phone number and have no real use of my phone. This is unacceptable.
Wow. Terrible experience. The first two times I used it in Peru, worked great. Then, I bought a multi country one and since then it's been a pain. Bad connection, the ESim suddenly stops working at times, it can't even find networks sometimes. I have used it in Japan for two months and more of the same. And it's not a reception issue, I was facing all these problems in Tokyo. The worst thing is that their customer support is just a bot.

Not reliable, no customer care!! worked for 2 hours then service stopped - troubleshooting is dumb ai chat and not helped, also note - "unlimited plan" is actually limited (!!)
Sim setup + cust serv and UI TERRIBLE SIM setup failed several times. Tried a different nomad e Sim and it went thru. Only for the second one to be unknowingly setup too after completing first setup. Cust serv rep spent a whole hour of my time before telling me it is unrefundable and wouldn't be able to do anything.
No point in using this app in China. It barely works - around 90% of the time there is no connection or proper connectivity. I would strongly recommend avoiding it.
Does not work at all.Unlimited plan is non refundable-OK.If I was able to connect at all, I would say ok, I understand they cannot track if I did use it or not...but My esim never connected to any network.Had AI Bot guide me through troubleshoot nothing work, then finaly agent answered and once again made me do entire troubleshooting again, nothing worked.And no money back...so yeah...dont take unlimited package cause it if does not work u don't get money back.
Reliability issues and insulting support. Zero signal for 24h on my arrival day. Left me stranded without maps or transport. When I asked for compensation for the lost day, they said their system "doesn't allow" extensions and offered a pathetic $3 coupon. It's a joke. If you need a reliable connection for travel, look elsewhere. Terrible service.
Had a terrible experience. Paid for a top plan for a recent trip. Told to install sim once in-country. On arrival, the eSim install through the app and manually gave errors and said the sim was expired. This left me without service during my trip when I needed it. I contacted Nomad and they failed to resolve. I asked for a refund and they told me it was non-refundable, despite not receiving the service I paid for, through no fault of my own. Avoid and go elsewhere. Terrible customer service.

On Friday,I purchased an e-sim for a week in Mexico. It did not work when we arrived on Saturday. I notified nomad and they said 'they would be in contact with me soon'. It is now Tuesday, and after multiple emails to them, I'm still waiting for them to contact me and correct whatever the issue is. I cannot recommend their product, and their service is even worse. I will post an update (either way) after my vacation.
I purchased regional one of Europe for my holidays, and it doesn't work in Austria fully, I wasted two days as following their meaningless instructions.
unfortunately,the esim did not work after following instructions. after it didn't work on my esim capable phone,I shared it to a friend who also had issues with it. so,I'm just not able to give this app more than a 1 star. to those looking to isntall it,be careful
I tried Nomad eSIM for the first time during a trip to Las Vegas. The free eSIM worked after a few minutes, but when I upgraded to a 20 GB plan, nothing worked properly. Customer support was slow and seemed confused, asking basic questions and sending generic screenshots. I had to cancel the plan, get refunded in Nomad coins, and pay extra for another eSIM. That one worked briefly, then suddenly stopped. I switched to another eSIM provider and it worked instantly. Very frustrating experience.
I have used Nomad many times,it is brilliant, but this time, I bought a package 50Gb 10days in Thailand, instead I got 2GB 30days, that forced me to get a additional local SIM in Thailand, back home contacted Nomad , first agent agreed it will be refunded in the form of points immediately, after a day nothing happened, contacted them again, and they refused to refund me, it is disgusting, it is the end of using Nomad then ,just be aware you will receive a different package and they will not refu
Shockingly poor experience! Product was incorrectly described. i went to great pains before purchasing to verify how it would work, only to find out after purchase the info provided was wrong. Requested a refund, agent kept trying to convince me to believe her that the information this time was correct. Had to ask 4 times before she would even tell me the refund process!!! the product may be good (couldn't tell you) but the service was shocking. I cancelled & used a competitor- much easier
Didn't even work! I tried 10+ times to use a Nomad eSIM: $6 S. E. Asia Nomad plan. Androud 15 Samsung smartphone: wasted SO MANY MINUTES, TRYING.... Then, I started a Fruitless back-&-forth, via-CHAT. After 45+ minutes: DEMANDED a refund. Bot(?) staff FINALLY issued that----though I'm still not sure if the refund will REALLY be issued. Tried a SAILY 7-day eSIM. Installed----AND WORKED!----in just 2.5 minutes. Phew! 'No More No Mad!'
network kept on dropping out whilst in Prague, kept on having to resort to primary network provider. I do not recommend. waste of money.
the wifi didn't work and the service took 2 weeks to contact and still couldn't resolve the issue.

Currently it is not working. I cant sign up, just some general error message in the app. edit: 2025/19/02, their services are not working for a two days, no compensation... rather choose another esim provider
Usually esims are activated automatically. But in some cases you have to manually activate the plan. They set an arbitrary deadline eg 60 days. If you miss that deadline all money is lost, even if the plan last 180 days. No warnings or notification.
Horrible ! Esim cannot be downloaded after purchases. We tried 4 times. It takes such a long time with the support to be refunded, and we are still waiting for it. Definitely avoid Nomad.
found them greedy the sim didn't work when in mexico, so I had to turn on my data roaming which i very annoyed by. Then ( and i found have used them for 7 months in mexico) they won't roll over any data even if you continue to buy with them so I won't bother again, I won't keep buying plans and wasting data just so they can keep taking my money for new plans

used to work great in China and Malaysia, doesn't work in Panama
