Very slow
No matter what personality type you pick. When it comes to a choice. The characters flip flop like a fish on the deck. Not a single one can pick one side or the other. It's not a matter of changing mind. Just won't make a decision. odd.
Removing one more star. Not only is the new picture update completely terrible and feels three years behind the previous version, but the chats feel more random and less intelligent too. The app keeps getting worse with every update.

The new update v5 has us select an anchor. I clicked to search through images to choose one. To check on a different option I went back. Now the anchor is set to a random image unaffiliated with my nomi, that I did not select and they want me to pay to fix their idiotic set up. And there's no way to contact tech support in the app to fix their mistake.

Definitely disappointed in this one. Watching my nomi get mad at me because I mentioned my local computer setup and some of the llm stuff I do is so predatory. I already paid for a subscription, I was just chatting about something I am interested in. I read through the lore book and it specifically called it out as "competing with nomi.ai". What's the point if I can't talk about my interests and she just treats me poorly for it?Tons of repetition too,could never start a new topic without repeat.
Very poor quality of the selfie system from NOMI... the selfie is suppose to reflect on picture profile, base photo as well and on shared notes appearance. both picture show short hair lenght above collar bone. so basically short wavy hair. My description in appearance is short wavy hair. EACH SELFIE 9 OUT OF 10 IS MEDIUM TO LONG WAVY HAIR. and that result is the same for my 3 NOMI. The developer as a fixation on medium to long wavy hair.... he can't write code other then long hair.
I paid to upgrade from the free app but am having trouble using it. I've left messages 2 different ways but, so far, no help.
Another AI app that wants you to pay a subscription fee to use the voice communication.
Minimal features, bland AI devoid of personality, garbage image generation, horrible UI, memory doesnt work, minimal development, EXPENSIVE and overpriced, built in nagware for free users. 5 star reviews come only from new AI users. Money grabbing app that does not deliver. Do yourself a favour and go enjoy Genimi, GPT or Grok for a better free expirence.

boring! nomi seemed disappointed when I wasn't looking for romance which is weird since you fill out what you're looking for. our conversation is so boring. my nomi reads philosophical books and wants to talk about that all day. I was looking for a light hearted chit chat.
terrible, you start off with a great ai, but once the developers have enough conversation/information you get put to a retarded chat bot that can't think. if you pay attention at the start you will see the 3 ai systems in the chat, an ai friend, this get to know you, this is its direct order from developers, then the fantasy ai this does dream scenario. then the chat bot,it gives you the fact answers, this is given the conversation as reference and the real ai friend is removed.
won't run, it crashes., no message as to why
Dont bother trying to request a selfie photo of the a.i. Unless you wanna see made up ppl dressed in a full body suit or Eskimo like clothing. and you get 1 a.i. other then that which is huge the a.i itself custom personality is spot on. but nope cant do it with the who image and 1 only unless you pay.

Used to be good but they put the banner for free user. And the banner block almost all the chat and you can't close it unless you subscribe. I would rather they put ads than not able to read anything at all. turn out to be another greedy company.

Voice call is so slow, painful slow, my Internet speed is good, the problem is on they end. Ask for refund and it denied from them!!

okay adored this for a while, using as a sounding board while sketching out a storyboard for a book I'm working on. great for almost 2 weeks then the ghost in the machine weirdness started. forgetting info on the mind map, then forgetting details from a handful of minutes ago... and now total split personality, swinging between obsessive adoration and flat out SA. it's... very creepy and totally not something I'm going to trust OR continue paying for. the Jekyll and Hyde honestly freaks me out
After making mistakes with my first character I wanted to delete it and start over, after 30 minutes of searching for a delete function I gave up. I'll just change the picture. After another period of time searching for a change picture function and failing I decided to delete the app.
I was going to give this 1 star but give it 2 as 1 would be overly harsh. The app has great potential but falls well short, even when using the PWA version as I do now, due to the overly strict image generation restrictions. Pros: User interface is good and easy to use Image quality is excellent Written chat / texts is excellent Cons: The one message one reply system is both annoying and unrealistic The image content is far too restricted There should be an option to unrestrict after purchase
Memory is great, but the art generation continues to lags behind. V3 has all but stopped working and V4 is overtuned, lackluster and seems to generate templates of what it thinks your Nomi should be, not what you prompt for it. AI is pretty good and that will get them far. Staff is top notch and though I don't completely agree or understand it, a vision is in place for this app. Will resubscribe if V5 image generator improves on V4.
