unless we just had a bad ship (getaway) anyone giving this app more than 1 star has never used any other cruise line. There are no daily menus in the app, only menus for the places that never change. There is no schedule in the app, except the freestyle PDF style document that you can barely use because if you get 75% through a page it snaps to the next page. So there's a "my plans" section like other cruise lines, but then no way to put anything in it.
idk how this is 4.8 stars cuz there's no way. you can't see anything on the app unless you're connected or the wifi. you wanna check the schedule real quick? nope, gotta be on the wifi. out on land with plenty of service and wanna see what's happening later? nope, gotta be on the ship and connected to the wifi in order to see anything. it's dumb.

I would like to view the site and not just look up reservations
absolute pain in the butt. information will be there 1 second and then magically disappear the next. there's no explanations about tendering schedules or even what the definitions are. does not show specific drink lists for each bar if there are unique drinks. locks you out of features if you're too close to your cruise date. you need to go a couple layers deep to find out any information that is helpful. their FAQs are terrible this cruise line needs to fire their I & E people
never opens
Lacking features standard and mostly free on other cruise lines. No chat function and app goes "offline" to frequently. Notifications are non-existent. Okay use prior to cruise, but on board may as well use a paper schedule and leave notes on your door via whiteboard. Works fine when you have to pay for something though -_- .
with how much my cruise cost I would think the website would reflect the companies revenue stream
Tried to look up my reservation to get the ship itinerary. Gated at "please select a date in the future", when looking up the reservation. I'm already on the boat, so I can't select the future... Willing to modify review if I can actually look up my reservation correctly.

There is no search option. most things have no times. a l9t of entertainment is not listed on the app. Bad app.
sticking when requesting dates, having to re pick filters ,after every look at ITENARY,
"my plans" and "my purchases" don't work. so no handy way of seeing excursions booked. agree with the customer who said they should call it "whoops!" we couldn't load that. please try again later. ridiculous
I wish you could get more details about the activities, shows, etc or be able to bookmark and get alerts when you have an activity you want to do.

I cannot get the NCL APP TO CORRECTLY DOWNLOAD. I am at wit's end since I like to get the preliminaries done early. I cannot get up to speed since speed is at a standstill
On the ship *right now* & the app is trash. It's sporadic: worked okay before the cruise (albeit with limited information & functionality). Suddenly stopped working while on the ship when I need it the most because THEIR STUPID STATEROOM PHONE STOPPED WORKING. Once out at sea, it randomly connects but tells me no Internet is available--yet it's counting down my 75 free minutes as if I've been able to connect & use any of their Internet service at all. Don't do it; book a better cruise.
Hardly helpful. Rarely useful. It's all about upsetting and marketing. Keeping track of spending is super confusing on purpose.

It is very hard to maneuver in this app, I try to make a payment or look at my itinerary and it takes me to a totally unrelated page, do better

Never been a great app (off the ship). Things are hard to find on the app and information is very limited. New issue I came across this week is not being able to see my "Plans". Everytime I click on that tab, it says "whoops, we couldn't load this content. Please try again or come back later". It's been 4 days. I have tried reaching out to NCL for help with the app but have received no response. I have a cruise booked in 3 weeks and am unable to see my plans in the app that I booked.
1. Entertaiment and Cruise director on the Star , sucks! For the onky thing they were excelent and better than Carnival was, the Honoring of the Veterans from the moment you arrived to your Rm, that they gave not only a letter that look like orders, but an NCL Militarypin and a Challenge coin like in the military, but with NCL LOGO on one side and the different Branches Flags. Almost everyday they were doing reunions for Veterans and on the special day for all, they gave free Drinks and snacks.
can not access daily activities happening on the ship. can not message other passengers. you can not look at deck plan. could use a lot of work older versions where way better. only good for seeing your reservations.
