I tried this app for 3 hours in June of 2025 and canceled subscription immediately. after I received canceled confirmation i didn't think about again until earlier this week when I was sent a reminder to update my payment information. shortly afterward I was charged $97.99 on my card. I submitted a ticket and haven't heard back after ticket creation. avoid this application if you are looking to avoid the same issue.
less than zero. I pay for it yet somehow freezes mid transcription. then I get home, try to stop app but doesnt respond. it displays the transcriptiom (which is often useless) then I wait. eventually it has audacity to tell me i used more than 300 minutes on my pro subscription and will not release 1 hr transcription from earlier. also why is this app always needing data connnection? just store voice locally then upload back in wifi range. do not recommend. google basic plus claude.

Predatory subscription model - continue to get charged yearly even after cancelation. Cannot contact Notta directly about subscription.

I subscribed to their top unlimited plan. I'm disappointed. Their Android app is not reliable. I've lost recorded audio that never outputed a transcript. Their website is also buggy in both mobile and desktop views. And on Android, I can't even use the share button to share audio to the app. I subscribed to their unlimited plan thinking I was getting a deal during a promo, but I still overpaid.

very bad. I unsubscribed the pro service straight after trialing it for a couple of hours and they still charged my card. surely some suspicion about ethics of this application and business. I have contacted support team and looking forward to their response.

I subscribed believing there was a free trial, but the annual fee was charged immediately. I canceled the same day and did not use the service. Misleading pricing and poor transparency. Support is slow to handle refunds. Not recommended.
not transcribing the whole audio
It works good nuff, but minutes you get to test it is not enough to even rate it.. I wanted it for writing down my dreams. After one 3 minute test you get the old (free trial) . OTTER gives you 3 sound file uploads free but only one time ever, then you need to pay BIG $. good news boys and girls🤑upload your sound file into gemini it transcribes it flawlessly in seconds. Then just copy it onto your clipboard and paste it any where you want. 100 a day max 5 min each file. Yay Gemini 🤠

It transcribed two sentences only out of a 29 minute conversation. it was completely useless and wasted my time.
not able to upload any text. the upload speech button itself is not responding
fiirst time it worked on free version. after that, it stopped working. pretty much you try once and then buy their membership. then you choose to addons. which can double the price. not impressed due to only one try given and not able to see full or limited functions. one try your done. now buy it. thats a bs.
try to use the website to transcribe an 11 min Afrikaans mp3 - forced signup - okay now upload and transcription is done - no actually it's transcribed in English so it's complete gibberish - because of an inconveniently placed banner, to change the transcription language forced to download the app - on the app okay Afrikaans? get German instead! and btw only the first 3min of the transcription are free lol 🤪 seriously 😡🤬 uninstalling immediately

even after you pay for the transcript service and you download the transcript they're still going to make you keep up your monthly fee you can't go back to the transcript and download it again so basically they hold your transcripts hostage until you keep paying the fee
poor quality transcription using pin mic. puts in random punctuation and question marks. unusable.
very slow app! and It can't change the voice into Persian fonts in an accurate text.

After my first attempt with notta, translating Norwegian spoken word to text, I am not too impressed but I'll update this review later on when I've tried a few more sources of input. It's not fair to judge an app so early but it asked me to write a review so I did
The transcription is soooo bad when you have Premium...

needs subscription
Befoe using it for my work meetings and consultations I thought i would test it at a informal appointment I had. I am so lucky I did. Notta had missed so many words that were said and mistook some words for others and I fear it will miss or discord something important.
