Ever since you implemented ads every time you back out of anything on your app, your optimization has really suffered. Like this is the most poorly running app I have seen in such a long long long time. With all that new found ad revenue, you should have a silky smooth user experience. Instead we get this pile of absolute....
basically unusable from ads. freezes up while trying to force an ad on you. predatory ads between every other listing. moves the listing so you accidentally click the ad. absolutely trash
worthless. nothing but scam replies.
tried charging my card but it didnt go through for subscription, then as soon as my money came through it charged my card. they should have asked for permission to charge a second time. I want my money back the free trial should have ended when my 3 days were up.
Honestly I have not had ONE GENUINE INTERACTION on this app yet and I don't expect to. I don't know how it got such high ratings, it's nothing but scammers on here. Don't waste your time ... Marketplace is the method.

Ads, ads everywhere, ads all the time, ads in the ads, unskipable ads, long ads, short ads, bright ads, dim ads, double ads, ads when you press the X to get rid of the ad, truly an "amazing" experience that I will not repeat.
try and never sold anything g or even get a response from a real person a response then says according deactivated only way is pay em I girmess
worst selling app this app is buggy has no photo feature for messages then bans your account for communicating with sellers (who 99 percent of the time do not answer) via via phone number then when you try to make a new account it says phone number is already in use🤦♂️
Been scammed for over $1,100 using this app. I do not suggest using it.
Please optimize this app. I do not want three GB of RAM usage for a newer version of Craigslist

no this is not free you without membership you cannot receive or check inbox for msgs even if you can see the notification that someone is asking about your product but to check the msg you need to buy membership. scam
worst paid services ive ever seen in my life. I paid 75 dollars to get not a single view. contacted support they swear the add id up and live. posted an add to Craigslist for 5 bucks an I got more jobs from them in one day and quotes then I have offer up in more then a week. im a firm believer these guys are just robbing us out here. what a joke
Be Wary: OfferUp is conducting some very sketchy data harvesting practices. Started receiving notifications/promotions for items searched for strictly on Facebook Marketplace despite having no linked accounts between OfferUp & Meta. Zero data privacy. App is also riddled with fake spam/scam accounts for what it's worth.
switch up fast on me . ive been selling boss Balls for cars and trucks on here for a long time now all of a sudden it violates some gay guide line ... booooo shame on offer up i emailed you back id put zero stars after today if I could. use to be my favorite selling app . time to look elsewhere
wont let me send messages, listing over a year old, app is terrible
have a sale ,this verification process had me on my cell for 2 hours asking me the same question I already answered,they sent me 4 digit code 9 times and a 6 digit code 9 times my cell was buffering,I have no idea if it completed the process,I don't know if my leather jacket sold or not, this verification has a pending hold on my money and I'm the seller.
straight garbage, even worse on Desktop!! don't even bother.i can't even post things for sale on desktop anymore! and it's almost impossible to get them to not share your info!!!
This is terrible. If you turn off all options about getting emails, they still email you. You can't delete your account because the option to do so is nowhere on the app or webpage. There is no customer service to assist.
used to love this app, now the app crashes constantly from the inundation of ads, if I wanted to shop Ebay I would go to eBay, it freezes while trying to look at posts and after one or two it crashes again. until this app is fixed I cannot use it anymore. it's gotten rediculous!
To Developer...Why Even have an App?..... it Crashes when opening. and Developer will NOT respond to issues. And the Circus Bear Routine of needing to Uninstall EVERYTIME you push an Update is "Telling" of everything (not OUR phones)
06/28/26 Update - Every time I try to log in it tells me no internet connection even though I am connected. SMH 06/23/26 Still the same. No Improvements. As of 12/2/21 does not work at all. App is buggy. Crashes frequently. Issues rating transactions and uploading profile pic. No way to rate people who missed meet ups. The will not allow you to post an ad for items wanted. 12/6/21 Tried to install to test if errors were fixed and now app won't even install.

it's ok but lots of scams and bots or whatever you want to call it somewhat shady but you can get some real ones. they don't do a great job at filtering through scams
The ads are egregious. Ad notifications cannot be disabled separately from message notifications.
ads make it hard to view listing. so many videos and ads that I cannot even view stuff without constant ads blaring music at me and its just not worth using
too many add and optimization is completely trash makes my phone crash multi-millionaire company and can't Even get good optimization for a mobile app Ridiculous lock in cuzz
Only responses were from scammers. OU tried to bill me for service after I cancelled. Had to go through Playstore to get refund. Will never use OU again.

I created my first add and the app said I must go to the separate Settings function of the phone and allow access to photos and videos. I did that and when I opened the app again it erased my add and I needed to create everything from scratch.

I have asked him to return my money if he does not want to sell the bracelets. I am still waiting for a response from him. He has given so many reasons why I have not gotten them. It's a decent app if you want to give away free stuff but unless you pay for premium, your items get little to no views. I just stick to Craigslist.
This app is great for deals that are to be made locally, only. I give that 5 stars. Beware of Anything that has to do with shipping and/or people that live far away. If you have at least $300 in your account, great. If you don't, you're SOL. So much for a place where you'd be looking forward to making money from, right? And if you do have the $300 in your account already, you're still going to have a headache. You will not get your money until it ships all the way there and the buyer likes it.

I get one response for like every 30 sellers I contact wanting to buy something. There are so many old listings from sellers who stopped using the app that it's basically impossible to find something you want where the seller is still using the app and ready to respond to your messages. It's a waste of time using this app. Facebook Marketplace is infinitely better. There is a similar problem there, but at least you can see that a listing is a year old and unlikely to still be active.
I love Offer Up, but the ads now flash rapidly on the screen. Flashing lights/strobe effects cause migraines and seizures for me. Just can't look at it anymore!
