Once you pay for the app, we week later it will log you out and you can no longer use it. Which is dissapointing since I was helpful.

I've been loving this app, did the free trial and decided to go through with paying for it. However, now that its taken the money from my account I suddenly cant login. It logged me out without any explanation and just says "developer error" when I try to login now. I've tried for multiple days, given it ample time to load, and checked the app for any updates needed. This was helpful when I wasnt paying a ton to look at an error screen.
I paid for an account and now I was kicked out and cannot log in
absolutely horrible experience. I can't scan items I have to fill out an entire book about what I eat.... I want to scan items, I'm in the middle of a grocery store aisle and you want me to write a 7 page dissertation.
Do not buy the subscription. This app worked well with the free trail but after liking it and deciding to buy the app it decides to kick me out and give a developer error and not give me any options to sign in again. Can't access the product I purchased...that's a no for me hopefully my refund request is accepted 🙏!!!
it would be nice not to have to pay for something that will help your life, I know I will already be spending more on better items, so why add an extra charge just to see if its healthy or not....no thanks
I can't log into my account after canceled my subscription. I still have the rest of the month to use it but I can't even get in to use it. scammy and scummy

Cannot sign in. Keeps saying "DEVELOPER ERROR". Tried uninstalling & re-installing, didn't work. Tried resetting my password.... Nothing!! Just paid $40 for the year and this happens. FIX IT!
This is not a free ap. You have to join a subscription+ pay a monthly or yearly fee.

apparently you cant question why this app does anything the way it does without being locked out. I questioned (publicly on tiktok) why the app would be giving mtdew 80% of 100 score. seemed weird because anyone with half a brain stem would know mt dew is poison, but questioning publicly gets you locked out of your account with NO reasoning why!!!!!!!!! #corrupted
App is a technical mess and can not even be used. Won't let you log into via Google Account quick login. I decided to manually entered my Google account & sign up, had to spend $ to use app, and spent 10 MINUTES setting up and answering 500 questions. Fast forward a week, it logged me out. The app will not allow me to sign in (via Google Account login or entering email manually) nor will it allow me to select "Forgot Password". Every single action errors. Can't even use the darn app.
Why should I have to pay to use an app to display food nutrition? And to see whether that product is good or bad, terrible, terrible app
Search function needs work. Gor example I have scanned Texas Spring Water before, so I KNOW it's in the app. That is even the exact title of the item/product. Yet when I search that exact phrase, NOTHING comes up..not even MATCHES at the very least. It's almost like the more specific you get, the search results won't bring anything up.
app keeps blocking out my phone
canceled my subscription less than 10 minutes into using the app when I seen problematic company's receiving higher scores. One of those company's being 'Purdue' who are known to add chemicals to their meats. I don't find this app trustworthy
information is not accurate. the app uses AI to gather information to inform the users on the app. using AI is unacceptable when you have an app that's sole purpose is for improving health. AI is horrible for our health and is not a reliable source for information.
omg a million questions before I get started AND I have to make a pledge for 90 days and after wasting 20 minutes of my life I get asked to play $8 DOLLARS A MONTH! seriously? I have precious free time and I'm on a tight budget. forget it

If I could give it a lower score I would. Do not use this app to scan food. It told me an apple was bad because it has sugar in it... Well no kidding. If you want a good app to use I highly recommend Chatgpt. It's honest unlike this app. Also saying Oikos yogurt is bad? That it has seed oils? Where do you get your information from? 🤔
bad UI and all this app does is make you hate the foods you enjoy
filled out a long questionnaire and then it immediately asks for money before I've even tried the app. no way I'm paying for something I can't even try. Yuka has its problems but I'm sticking with it I guess
this is not a free app and it had said they dont take a penny from you when they do. dont waste your time on this.
This app is honestly terrible. There isn’t even a free version to try - everything is locked behind a paywall from the start. You can’t test the features, see if it works, or even decide if it’s worth it without paying first. That’s a huge red flag for any app. It feels like the developers care more about squeezing money out of users than actually providing a good product. Forcing people to pay before they even know what they’re getting is frustrating and shady.
Not free at all. Sign-up process is very long and at the end, you have to subscribe to a plan.

One star because there's no free option, only subscription. It doesn't bother telling you it's subscription either until the very end and wastes your time filling out all the questions. There should be a free option for those parents trying to do better who cannot afford a lot, like $40 for a subscription to a food scanner.

Can't even get into the app without paying. I have no idea if this is a bug but I can't access the app unless I use my payment information for a free trial.

stop asking me a million questions before I can start scanning stuff. i dont want you knowing me, I dont want a personalized experience. Just scan the stupid barcode and tell me if its healthy or not. is that too much to ask....

This is by far THE WORST app in this category I have EVER come across. A single ⭐ is WAY too generous.
no free version $40 year just an FYI. dont waste your time like I did.
they make you go through a very long sign-up process and at the very end you have to subscribe to use the service. we want to be able to just use the app or at the very least not be put through a long process, at the end of which will have to face a subscription

It is not free to use as people have told me. It costs $39.99 a year on the cheapest end. You can try for 7 days free before they require payment. I'm not impressed, I need a lot longer than 7 days, since I only eat once or twice a day. Would not recommend. I haven't found a decent one yet.
