Functionality wise it's great, I really love the app and how convenient it is to use. But if you have to contact support then your experience with Omio is going to be the opposite. I had 2 tickets for FlixBus from Paris to Etretat. That bus never arrived, so I contacted FlixBus for a refund. They told me to request it from Omio. That was many months ago. Support from Omio just responds with the same templated answer that they're looking into it. By now I don't expect my money back anymore.

Two train tickets canceled due to heat waves. Omio says to contact the ticket provider. The ticket provider says to file a claim with Omio as theyre the travel agent. Neither one will claim responsibility. If youre considering this app, use another. Theyre happy to take your money but refuse to help you if your travel arrangements are cancelled due to events beyond your control.

They are trash, prices are changing constantly by a margin of 500%. Bought 4 tickets for Flixbus, and we were misinformed that the bus we were supposed to catch was not going to Bologna, and then we had to buy tickets again, flixbus and omio wont process a refund for flixbus mistake.

Booked easy train return tickets in Spain, recommended app. Next trip is Italy and I already see options I'm interested in. Edit: app now spamming with random offer notifications. Unable to turn off in settings as it auto turns back on, once turned off. Literal notification spam every 5 mins.

Bought one train ticket in Poland for an 18 minute train ride. The app charged me almost six times the amount of the actual cost. when the train attendant went to check my ticket, she said it wasn't accepted. I then used a point of sale system to purchase a ticket at a fraction of the cost. I then deleted the app as to not make the same mistake in the future.

my ticket had the wrong platform number on it, and due to that fault I directly missed my international train, leaving me stranded in a foreign country with nowhere to sleep. horrible service. - that fact means they are in direct violation of the EU passenger rights for not providing ACCURATE journey details. nearly a full MONTH of just trying to find evidence of human life inside this fraudulent husk of a company... no luck so far!!

Frustrating... only "support" is AI chat. I needed to change the date on some train tickets, and the app (falsely) said there were no trains on the date I needed. So I canceled the tickets, uninstalled this app, and bought the tickets somewhere else.

The app shows incorrect information. The app showed a departure time that was 30 minutes later than the correct time. We missed our train, and have received zero support from Omio. The AI Chatbot claims to "know how you feel" but really it's a mindless and soulless machine, incapable of doing one thing-taking your money. AVOID OMIO!! (Booking ref 92YZHF)

Don't use this app. Some third-party offers discounts on the app. The tickets are overpriced, and you can easily find cheaper tickets with no need for a discount from competitors. Do you want to modify the dates because the font is very small, and instead of 3, you put 5? Impossible. Do you want to cancel for a fee? Impossible. It's full of bugs. Do you want to speak with someone? An AI Assistant won't help you; it will tell you to refer to a human if you wait, but it won't. Totally rubbish. 0⭐️

The application is very unstable, constantly says something's wrong when trying to sign in. Even if the sign-in is successful for once, it terminates the season out of the blue, and then again I can't sign-in. And even when signed in, you still need to enter the reservation number to get your booking. BTW that number can't be copied from within the app. Just terrible experience!

I paid extra for first class seats but there was no first class in the train. Also had difficulty finding the assigned seats and found out that the assigned seats showing in the app are not accurate. I am in the middle of the refunding process but customer service is fully AI agent based so I am not sure how it ends.

Check the bus stop carefully. I used the app when I was in Ukraine. When you search the Omio app shows that the bus was from the bus station. How the actual ticket stated the departure point was a petrol station (in Cyrillic) 20 minute walk from the bus station. Being not very familiar with Ukrainian this was frosting. it was only when I checked the bus company's website that I realised why the bus wasn't appearing. This happened on two occasions.
