Keeps asking for gps. I do not want to waste my battery. Annoying me every trip , every click , with no way to turn it off

phone no longer supported, was a really nice app though and I really did love using it. Quite a shame it just stops working after the most recent update in April because I always used it to check Balance before leaving the house

Still asks for location. 6/10/22 Repeatedly asks for my current location when planning trips days ahead. Why does it ask every time I want to look at a trip. I'm not in those locations now.
Doesn't work anymore
The new app isn't compatible with my device and the old one can't be used any more, so I can no longer use either.

Was a fantastic app, unfortunately it no longer works with my Samsung Note 9, which is sad cause my phone still works perfectly😪😪😪 These changes directly impact the customers who desperately need these services and consequently are least able to afford to stay technologically current and buy the latest smartphone every 5yrs.....pensioners and low-income earners
Suddenly without any notification at all the App is nolonger compatible with my phone!! Tried to update via Google store and it can't be done. So your expecting me to by a new phone just to use your App disgusting service.

Cannot use the app because it's not the latest version. Cannot update the app because it's no longer compatible. What a disservice. Way to force people to update their mobiles. You are providing service to the people of NSW. Act like it.

The app is insisting that I install the latest update with pop-up alert that loads just after the main screen loads (with no way to close the alert, so that I can get back to the main screen). When I go to update the app the play store advises that the app is now incompatible with my device OS (Android 10). This is ridiculous, given it is basically just an electronic timetable, and was working last week. Did the developers even test the app on the previous OS, or just assume?
The app logged me out today for no reason. I tried many ways to log in and top up but unsuccessful. What a beautiful way to trouble people!

After changing the Opal card from full fare to pensioner card, my online account has been stuffed up.

Cannot log into the app, have tried everything. It once worked flawlessly not anymore. All I get is 'something went wrong. We can't process your request' note I can log into the website just fine and I know my user name and password is correct. Why is the app broken?

I already have auto top up. Why did it change after years and years.
Absolutely horrendous service!!! I recharged $10 via the Opal app, says $10 pending tap on. I waited about an hour, then arrive at Central Station (the instruction says wait only 15 mins for train), try to tap on, says balance too low. I've done this many times before always worked except this time. Called Opal Card service, the caller keep insisting the $10 can only be effective when I tapped "off", and she insists I need to recharge another $20 at a physical machine, which is obviously false!

When will this app get proper tracking of trains. As the official app a mystery why competing apps do this so much better and accurately.
Awkward, unclear, over complicated, annoying
tells me the wrong times and says there isn't routes when there is it's garbage
So the app stopped auto paying my Opal Card. Went onto the app only to discover that auto payments had been switched off. Switched them back on again, tried to tap on and still no luck. When back onto the app and went to make an immediate manual payment, all I received were technically error messages. This sounds very much like a you problem, I'm just trying to pay so I can get on the train. Had to find a pay station and pay there, app still won't update current balance. Fix your app! Shameful!
really dumb you need your physical card to reset the password in the app
garbage. will not let you load a card. EDIT- tried to load a credit card 3 more times. Still say error. AVOID THIS APP! If I could give zero stars I would.
app needs tap and go with opal card!
why is the opal travel app no longer compatible? In response. that is great news. moving forward consider a. releasing advance information that app will no longer supported on certain OS versions and b. allow the last app version functioning without support or future updates. Those with perfect workable phone are not disadvantaged due to lack of manufacturer updates. Consider at your leisure as this app is the only one not functioning while other eg payment apps are supported.

Admittedly this app is great on planning routes for current or later times, same with giving you the bus's information (late/early arrival and capacity) But that's no longer the case, as the Devs decided that my phone is no longer up to date to continue supporting the app on it, now I have to use the broken Trip planner site to plan routes Yes I could get a new phone, but I shouldn't need to as it works fine as it is!
Since I updated the app yesterday I am unable to yop up. Highly frustrating. It keeps saying try again. Please fix
