Camera resolution options under 1080 now missing.
No FPS Control - or too difficult to find. yes there is ONE location to set an fps for video BUT it's the fps for ALL resolutions...... which isn't possible. the 4k camera on MOST devices can't do 240 fps lol. In addition to resolution option we need a res-dependent fps option on the main screen dropdown.
Poor used by third party.
You can lock the screen but if some buttons are still present that can end the recording (like view the last recording). Make it harder to unlock or let us remove those ui elements!
New updates are not coming, and the external mic is not working / not being supported.
why it's so grainy?and why the like design is the camera so down in screen why not middle?also when taking a picture I don't like the animation just make it smooth. the design of the setting feels so old

lo quality
April 7, 2026- Used to work for USB audio input, doesn't now. I used Open Camera for ages to get the audio from my Behringer XENYX QX1202USB mixer via the USB interface for FB livestreaming & "closed session" with both a Samsung AO2S & a Blu phone. Both are running Android 11 & 12. I had it set for using the Default mic, but for some unknown reason it no longer transfers the audio. Definetly not an issue with the mixer, as that still works with my laptop. App needs updating !

popped up a message about location settings instead of taking the photo and I missed it. :-(
takes about 6 seconds from click to shutter no matter the setting. not as horrible as the standard camera on my phone.
