when you try to cancel your subscription, you have to go through four different steps so they try to make sure that you Skip One and then they charge you. needless to say I will be disputing the charge with our credit card company as I already canceled this 3 days ago and I got charged today.

this business is a fraud and does not deliver what it advertised and takes advantage of minorities. I cancelled and they charged me anyway. Do not trust them.

gives the impression of being a free app, it isn't. wouldnt mind if it was made more clear
it cuts off audio early on clips . you get a decent chapter summary so you do miss info but its a shame as I was enjoying the app until this kept happening . seems a basic error that ruins the other great things about it !

careful, this is a subscription scam. Without consenting to a subscription. They booked 49 euros from my account. I don't have a Google play subscription.
Very disappointed by this app. The adverts lead you to believe you will get documentary style content teaching you about history. Instead it's like some sort of cheesey educational video game with the content provided at less than a 5th grade reading level. I'm an idiot for signing up for a year's subscription.

Very poor vocabular and style. Not learning actual information with the new style. I quote the app-from a Roman Empire story. “The empire's running smoothly-ish under the Severan dynasty. Think of them as the new kids on the block, mixing things up with some fresh African and Eastern flavors in traditionally stuffy old Rome.” “Uh-oh! Looks like the Parthians are stirring up trouble again.” I dont find knowledge in this style.

the app is glitchy in the best case, and does not work at all in some areas which will stop any progress in your stories. company will become non responsive when you request a refund.
IT'S A SCAM!!! Don't fall for it. In the ad, everything is presented as a video, but in reality, after you pay, the app only has narrated texts-nothing interactive. I regret paying for the subscription. I want my money back!

RUN! ITS A SCAM! I did the "free trial" and did not like it so I cancelled my membership THE SAME DAY AFTER 3 MINUTES, yet they still charged me 90 bucks! you can't reach anyone either so it's basically fraudulent
still charging me money even after I deleted the app. There's no easy way to delete your account. they claim you just have to go to the top right corner on their website to hit the clog? Well guess what. there is no clog in the top right corner.
This company is a scam. You ask for your money back because you didnt mean to purchase it. 140$ later. Then they say they'll give a partial refund but say they send it to your Google account? My payment was processed through PayPal. I looked at all my Google accounts and dont see any partial refund back.

This app is fun, but halfway through every lesson, the app glitches and will not produce the next part of the lesson. Huge disappointment, because this app is a lot of fun to use.
NO MENTION OF QUIZZES and no way to turn them off. Uninstalling and requiring a refund. I dont need to test myslef, Im not a historian, Im not gonna go talk like Im a history buff, Im just trying to soak in the history like a book
Looking at all the questions before you even start that arw totally unrelated to what you may want to learn, it seems this app is only interested in creating a psychic profile of the users. Totally not trustworthy.
DO NOT come into this app expecting to find content that is even loosely related to what is shown in the ads. there are NO video stories, the high quality AI videos you've seen are ONLY available in the ads. I paid for pro without exploring the app, based on what was shown in the ads, and I am extremely disappointed in what the app actually has to offer. Simple text based slides with low quality art and bland voice-overs are not what I was expecting. Misleading and slimy sales tactics.
Broken app. Loses your account and login info after you have already paid for a period in advance. Loses your progress also. All this as soon as you close the app. The experience is also 10% 3rd grade level lessons, and 90% asking you questions that seem they are made to tailor the experience, but are DEFINITELY made to sell your deep info with AI and governments

If I could give zero stars I would. As a classicist I was excited to see this app and liked the idea; unfortunately it is awful. Not only do I think the animation is terrible I genuinely think it is irresponsible and dangerous to peddle stupid AI made up history lessons as if they are facts. You should not write one sentence into a AI bot and hope that it will make up an accurate "story" from it You should be ashamed and I pity a world where this app is considered educational.
Looks interesting but UTTERLY FED UP with the pointless questionnaires that precede sign-ups for these kind of apps. My age is irrelevant and my life goals and aspirations. I just want to learn a bit of bite-size history. Is that asking too much?
Awful! I bought it.wanting history on a region and there was nothing. Then I discovered a lot of their history was incorrect. It said 7 day guarantee but they denied it and wouldn't refund me. Instead tried to get more money through AI chat. Shameful.

I had a trial, they withdraw money without authorization. Plan was never active. 3 emails. No response. I have to cancel a card because of them.
Very disappointed that there's a monthly fee. I thought I would really like this app and enjoy it. 1 star, if they develop a free version I'll be happy to try it out.
I was told if I finished 25 chapters, there was a 30 day money back guarantee. Once I did, they started ignoring my emails. I'm assuming they'll reply when the 30 days have passed. The app itself is a scam, meant to draw you in and then frustrate you into moving on. Don't fall for it.

just trying to start the game and instead i am taken through a personality test to assign me an AI partner i do not want. And then I asked to rate the app before i have even had the opportunity to really use the app
