When I selected my Google pay source it paid without confirmation
Beware of this app. I used it to order and I got an error message saying the order didn't go through, to check my network. Of course I had no network issue and I kept trying and the whole time the orders were actually going through. I found 8 charges from Papa John's on my bank account. They did go back to my account but depending on your bank this can take up to 7 days. I'm never risking using this app again. uninstalling!
The price to food ratio is off
the app pushes orders to door dash without notifying you of this before you pay.

This is the only Papa John's in our area and never seems to accept any of the Papa John's promo codes.

got rid of sandwiches in the coupon. used marketing to try to trick people into thinking that sandwiches are new (they've been around for over a decade. Let's not forget the blatant racism from Papa John himself. The immediate use of Shaq as a replacement does not make the Papa less racist.
My app suddenly does not load. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still does not load. Not sure what to do next.

When I signed up rewards didn't expire then they removed $80+ of rewards. Over the years they seem to randomly remove points and papa dough rewards as well with no highly visible warning or date for expiring. On iOS and Android I get logged out constantly of app and have to relog. Update: Now app does not work at all. stuck at initial Papa John's green (loading) screen. Cleared cache and data and uninstalled. restart. reinstall. Stuck on initial loading screen before even login.

App is terrible. There is no option to choose which store you're ordering from. I live in Arizona and have ordered from my home before. I placed a new order and it placed the order for delivery from a store in Florida I lived in years ago. I had to contact the Florida location amd cancel the order. Still no option to change to a store where I currently reside. Oh well, lost business Papa Johns
completely trash. you have doordash deliver food without letting anyone know until after the order is placed. pizza gets here 45 mins late and is completely cold. worst company I have ever seen. don't order from here unless you're trying to waste your money on an edible food.
6 dollar delivery fee that doesn't go towards drivers is atrocious.

No one needs or asked for Ai to order a pizza. I will definitely never use the app again or eat at Papa Johns, for that matter.
The last update is absolutely terrible. The moment I pull up the app, it just stays on the title screen and doesn't do anything else. I've tried clearing the app storage, reinstalling the app, and restarting my phone, but nothing works.

I've been having a really hard time opening this app on my phone. Just got the update today, and I'm still having issues. It just gets stuck on the logo.
they charge over $5 just to use their service. it's cheaper to order their products thru door dash

cant order pizza as configured. yes you can. worthless app now because i cant even order a basic pizza which is a regular menu item edit 2/22/26 cant order a simole pizza bc "its configured for the "wrong time of day" then close. bc otherwise you sell pizza all day. update: updated to the latest version. same thing...wrong time of day to order pizza. just pull the app at this point if there is going to be no support for it
(4/27/26) UPDATE: Are you guys ever going to fix your app? I have been unable to order using the app for several months now. It would be really nice to be able to use the Papa dough that I have accumulated but I am unable to use it unless I order with the app. I am also unable to order via the website. it is extremely frustrating. PLEASE FIX THIS! I have been having issues with the app for months now. Its extremely frustrating.

why do you charge 5.99$ and the. have the nerve to say driver tip is separate. We are your consumer who buys your food. Paying for your business expense is not consumer's responsibility. It is your responsibility to pay your employees reasonably plus commissions for their performance. And the tracking didn't work in app.
