Haven't actively used my Patreon in years even though I'm still donating. Just updated, and now nothing loads, memberships don't show up, and it doesn't even give me the ability to delete my account. I love the creators but this app is terrible. when it works it's great but it is sooo unreliable. I haven't been able to play anything for a month. update: changing to 1 star. for the last week , I am trying to use this app, that I PAY for, to listen to new podcasts put out by the creators but the app keeps freezing, can't navigate, won't play! this is the Android version. Come ON!!

Stopped and restarted my podcast to ask me how much I enjoy patreon,at literally any point the podcast can also just restart. if you're constantly on the road,you can see why this might make you want to rip your hair out.

Profile merging is a greedy mistake. why TF would I want to merge my professional profile with the normal one I use for NSFW content? It's a breach of privacy. My legal name is connected to it.

Recently the app barely even opens let alone runs and displays posts. I've tried reinstalling it, but that didn't help and seems to have now prevented it from sending notifications even though I have them enabled.
I hate everything about this app. Special payment for the different member option. There is no one worse. It's been like that for many years.
The app loads so slow. It's maddening. The only app that I use that takes forever to load up an episode of a podcast. I also hate that they try to force feed you other stuff to pay for instead of just letting you see the things you are subscribed.

I'm subscribed to - and pay for - a handful of creator's feeds, and through updates or bug, there is nowhere on the app I can now go that shows me only feeds I am subscribed to. I don't want to have to wade through whatever posts some algorithm thinks I want to find the service that I am *paying for*.
1) not allowed access to content from creators I have paid subscriptions for. 2) often do NOT receive notifications for content and live events from creators I have paid subscriptions for. 3) no combination of setting selections turns off "Auto-Play" function. 4) AND NOW, in-app "Support" menu and functions are empty! Patreon is lucky there aren't any competing apps developed. If there were, Patreon woulda caught that last flight with "Spirit Airline"

I downloaded the app more than twice and even tried another day yet the results were the same.I even tried the website but it kept telling me the same thing despite how many times I tried. I've wanted to try this app cause it seems very popular but now I wonder 🤔 why.
I was really looking forward to watching my favorite YouTuber but when I realized I have to pay each month just to watch their vids I changed my mind and I'm broke
Complex and difficult user interface which frustrates & heavily over priced 👎
Multiple posts, even from the **same creator**, generate separate notifications instead of one expandable stack, overloading the notification shade. dumpsys notification shows each notification has a unique group key and no group summary, preventing Android from grouping them. It's a mess. The only options are to mute notifications entirely or use another platform like Substack. Please implement proper Android notification grouping.
The app now defaults to auto play of content, and even if you turn it off in Advanced settings, content will still auto play.
Does not allow picture in picture viewing. Home page messy and several navigation points required to find subscribed content in chronological order.
barely works
I really don't like the new "more post like this" feature. I have random stuffs popping in every thread I paid for. And some of those pop up random post form other creators were awful to see. The web version seems less ads intrusive but the this apps discouraging.
