It is a waste of time. There are too many ads and unnecessary permissions, such as access to “nearby devices” (???), along with constant promotional pop-ups. Very annoying. Use Google Translate (with the camera feature) and read the translation yourself.
Very bad app. The worst you can use in japan. Not even once it worked for me. I recommend not to waste your time and your phone memory for such bad app.
In japan this app reads a bar code less then 10% of the time. practically useless. They do like to market stuff to you which would be fine if the app remotely worked. overall disappointing.

This app was working before but now it seems to be down. I get a blank gray screen when I open it. I have already un-installed and installed ut a few times.

It is not working at all!!!! Replied for the message sent on 9th October 2017 -> The app would not load and the camera would not start up either.
Sacn 4 pdt only one has info! Disappointed! I scanned Shinsendo Co. Ltd's Brain Up DHA & EPA Fish Essence, Botanical Ferment, WiN's Muscles Relief lotion and Eye mask. All are made in JAPAN. Only eye mask can get the info. Don't look down on me of my knowledge to understand yr app is scanning Japanese goods!! Disappointed 2nd time!
Not as good as before. Many items didn't yield any results.
Can't close the ads so I have to close the app everytime an ad shows up. making it very inconvenient to use.
Most of the labels don't work.
Useful but the full screen ads are very disruptive.
I haven't tested the scanner yet but have browsed through the products. DO NOT use this to help you avoid allergens. There is an extreme inconsistency in the information on the labels. The kit-kat i looked at didn't even have ingredients listed, only a sales pitch for the bar. The ingredients for the Cup Noodle I looked at just listed 'noodles, soy sauce..etc', didn't specify type or ingredients of these. I don't know if this is a reflection of Japan's laws for labelling food or if its the app
No logging in option so my history and likes on products are all erased when I had to switch phones. Also I couldn't use the barcode feature for some reason as whenever I opened it, it keeps loading to no end. Had a suspicion that it was region lock as I pick a country that are outside of the main options and I give the app the permission to access my location
Sounds a good app but can't not use inmy android phone. Keep loading at the beginning of choosing country
Scanned many items, but returned only 1 result for a biore body wash (i was just testing it, i already knew what it obviously was). I badly needed it to work when buying medicine. Unfortunately, it did not. Later on, when scanning barcodes it just crashes and the app closes. Thank you for your effort. Please improve it more and expand the database of products.
