Im trying to send my nephew money. I know its my nephew yet PayPal is declining my payment because "they think im getting scammed" even when I selected the send to a family member.

False advertisement does not offer instant transfer, cant get a straight answer on when my payment will go through keep asking and getting different answers, each time they give me a day it will process, guess what it doesn't go through and got to wait even longer. Snail mail is faster than paypal

After doing everything, provided every accurate informations, PayPal permanently limited and deactivated my account for no reason, am disappointed with the application.

The recent 10.0 update is honestly horrible. When you first open the app nearly 2/3 of the visible screen space is just ads, and the space for user information has so much dead space that you don't see much useful info there to begin with. Also, useful information like package tracking that used to be prominent and easy to find on the main screen is now buried in layers of menus. This update was a massive downgrade.

"Please enable js and disable AdBlock" What kind of garbage app is this? A bizarre bug like this trying to accept payments is the height of absurdity within PayPal. How am I supposed to enable JavaScript if the app doesn't use the device's WebView? I can't accept payments now because of this bizarre bug in the app
App is unusable - keeps popping up with "This app has stopped responding" and asks if I want to wait or close the app.
My account was permanently limited with no warning and no clear explanation. I submitted every document they requested, but the decision never changed. As a digital artist, losing access to my account without transparency was incredibly frustrating. I expected better from a company handling people's money.

I lost my old phone in an accident and do not have access to my old number! I have tried to replace the number and my address countless times but the PayPal app didn't allow me to change the old number. Now I do not have any access to login without the old number and phone as it is not giving me any option to enter my new number or verify with id or email or any other way! I have money in my account and my account is useless for this weird policy! I cannot even reach the customer service!
Yeah no, they just permanently deactivated my account hours after I submit the ID they asked for and charged me to verify my debit card. Horrible experience overall.
Once a safe haven for online shopping with support staff who actually knew what they were doing. Now it has turned into a breeding ground for broken AI bots that automatically resolve every single dispute in the seller's favor - completely ignoring the most solid evidence like pictures, emails, and similar. There is zero option to appeal, and getting in touch with an actual human being has become an absolute mission impossible. This company has hit rock bottom. Avoid at all costs.
it doesn't let me transfer funds from my bank account. It used to work just fine before but now instant fund transfer doesn't work, I don't understand why, it's quite frustrating when you need it immediately and glitches like this happen. Fund transfers in other countries particularly in the Philippines don't have inconveniences like this, and they notify app users if system maintenance is underway. here in Europe, first world countries?? but apps work like shitake mushrooms...🙄🙄

One of the worst experiences with any app and support I had yet. The AI chat bot doesn't work at all, at some point it will loop with the same sentence/advice without ever linking me to someone else. Supposed issues with the bank were unfounded and the app just keeps giving me problems where there shouldn't be any, as confirmed with the AI.
my paypal account literally got permanently limited and i still have remaining balance 😭 I hope the old PayPal will be back and not like this

My GOD. Is PayPal allergic to specifying the exact reason why one's account is permanently limited? I've just made an account A DAY AGO, submitted all required information WITHOUT FAKING ANY OF THEM, and all I get is an email saying my account is permanently banned for "information we couldn't verify"??? Asked the CS and all they gave me was "sorry our decision is final", BUT WHAT EXACTLY IS THE PROBLEM? what did I do wrong? I haven't even made any transaction, the account is a DAY OLD.
Since yesterday, i've been trying to put my ID in, but it's frozing everytime i try.

Returning to the sending verification code page again on 3 different browsers. Even the live agent have no idea what is wrong. I have been at it for hours. Kept my old number active in order to update to the new one before I terminate it. Frustrated and closed the account.
it's alright, sometimes annoying to set up and use because they'll ask for ID, used to have an account before when I was too young I guess and they froze it. I made a new one and eventually they asked for ID but by then I was old enough. I haven't used it in years though and it's almost useless. Now they have annoying popups. like today I got a "track your package with PayPal" one. Why? Why would I ever use PayPal to track my packages? So they can steal my data? No thanks.
The PayPal answer to any issue is "wait 24 hours and try again". Not helpful at all!
Too many intrusive popups. Not a good look for a finance app. Let me do my business and leave me alone.
