how was i charged a year subscription without ever opening set up or shown was paid app or had to give permission with 2 step verified or even cashapp card or app ever used g for Google play but somehow charged me with my app directly without card info

I have been charged 32 dollars for nothing. it was supposed to b a 1.99. I want to cancel. it takes an act of congress. I still haven't been able to cancel!
HUMP! Couldn't even install this app, get a useless error message saying app can't be installed at this time. Gave up after 6 attempts.

we are suspected about a mushroom poisining and this app cant even identify a normal daily mushroom you can find in any forest. this thing should taken more seriously. some peoples lifes may depend on this app. worthless app i am sure the 5 star reviews are mainly bots.

can NOT UNsubscribe like they say.. I've tried numerous times and it jumps all over. THIEVES don't make it easy to get rid of this app
I was also unknowingly being charged after a trial period for two years after briefly testing out the app. If you have downloaded this, double check they aren't attaching hidden service fees to your account.
Do NOT waste your money or phone memory space on this. They don't even give into on whether a mushroom is considered edible (like any decent pocket guide would). So, its an expensive and under-performing addition to another guide. There are also multiple complaints about predatory billing practices.
Rubbish!....take 3 pictures of the same mushroom and get 3 different answers....fly agaric was the only one it was consistent with 🙄
I was offered 7 free days to try the app and do went on.I used it once soon after and it wasn't what what I wanted so I cancelled it. I was still charged £25 and then refused a refund.
Had a problem with their "7 day trial", it charged the full amount and my account still wasn't upgraded to premium. Reached out to their support but nobody answered. Had to go through goolges channels to get my money back.

I downloaded the app so I could identify a large number of different mushrooms in my garden. Registered for a free trial, used the app for 5 minutes and then realised I had been charged £25.99! Not happy at all, had I known I was going to be charged I would not have used the app. Wording needs to be clearer as I'm not the only one this has happened to. I will be pursuing a full refund. who do I contact for a refund?
this app is not good at all, and I was charged $31 for the FREE trial so I would advise you stay far away from this app. I emailed about having being charged for the supposedly FREE trial, and no response so I figured I would write a review and save everyone else the trouble, and money that they will unknowingly be charged for the FREE trial that isn't at all FREE. I installed the app yesterday, and thats when the FREE trial started, and I canceled it the SAME day

Not Correct Info. Took the photos as directed and each time gave the incorrect name and species of mushrooms. It did this with multiple different types of mushrooms

after 2 years everything gone, it was a amazing app but they always pushed for subscription what i get but now all of a sudden they decided that of you don't pay all the info is gone i had collected over the past 2+ years, at least a 100 different document mushrooms unbelievable
I downloaded what was supposed to be free, popped right out with a subscription plan. 😡. If you are going to offer a free version, it should be quite obvious. my review stands.

I could not locate and identify mushroom. How do I cancel this app? When I installed it said I could cancel membership on app. went to app message says if I uninstall it, the membership will not be canceled. start date 06/10/2015.. cancel this app! 06/11/2025! CANCEL! 😡
You have to submit credit card details and sign up for a subscription to even try out the app and you will automatically start being charged after a week if you forget to cancel. This type of strategy relies on people to accidentally forget to cancel instead of relying on a good product to attract customers.
Took my funds out for a year when I was within the free seven day trial. Not happy
was supposed to get an alert before I was charged. Didn't happen - a charge just showed up !!!
I accidentally down load it had my Google play open looking at transaction an put phone in pocket. didn't even realize the app was there or link up until I got charged..bs!!!

Would give 5 stars if it weren't for the pay wall! sorry, pricing is just kinda greedy when a lot of people would be using this app to learn and maintain their safety. the map function is great for posting edible vs toxic species, but what they charge for basic usage is unreasonable.
i just dont think the price is justified! £25.99 a year? Then ads also! Milking comes to mind! To the people that price this...do you think grabbing a few mushrooms from the wild is worth the price? absolute rip off just like everything else today. As soon as i see this rip off tactic i dont even bother getting the free 7 day trial. Stick it in that dark place you got.
SCAM! Went through the process for the 7 day free trial, and then it said i wasn't eligible. Of course, I could still use it if I signed up for the year. Garbage.
I tried this app out of curiosity. But the mushrooms I tend to pick are all edible and really yummy, but this app tells me that they are toxic and inedible, so this is why I give it 2 stars.... Meadow mushrooms, Parasols, and Chanterelles... not edible, really?!?!?!
