edit - you only get a limited number of uses before you're locked out completely behind a paywall. Screw you. zero stars; uninstalled. ad infestation is so irritating it actually cost you stars.

The thing is, I only edit photos when I have an idea for a funny joke, which is sporadic and not a consistent part of my life. It would be absurd for me to pay for a subscription, because I do not use this type of service with consistency and I do not use it for anything important.
not only they are now heavily leaning into AI they are not even free anymore don't buy this product just use free or modded
pay $80 for a subscription to use the same BASIC features that used to be free (which is minimal and not worth the money) and you still have to buy expensive credits to use any of the newer features that I pretty much get for free with Gemini already on my Pixel...
Years pre-pandemic this application was an vital component to the Jerry Boles Photography Brand. definition of retirement means one per month Govt MGMT. Affordability Monthly Budget + Justification. $5.99 per week is absolutely a rip off that's well over $300. 79.99 to some people maybe a discount. Affordability for a non-desktop version should be $8.00 per month. that 3.8 rating He is telling me someone is greedy on his plain thirsty. 10 yrs with this app no monthly plan. I am disappointed

absolutely horrible tried the 7 day free trial an get 10 coins to test out yet nothing is 10 coins everything is 60+ coins so I cant even try it to see if I like it.. 0/5 star
Used to be a good app, until the update where you can only save 3 edits a day or they charge. Now they want $79 for a basic editing app. No thanks

I used to use this app for years when it was free. Overtime, it got worse with ads and now asks for premium or a free trial when booting up the app. Uninstalled.
absolutely terrible, used other versions for years but now the more stupid updates the more it shouldn't exist, the more you have wasted our time in hanging onto the app for more useless and disappointment nonsense you try to be cool with ... change is not always good regarding your app, seriously now some of us keep to the simplicity of good apps. rather remove this nonsense off app store so we can blady well move on with our lives. now I'm forced to rate this app before posting review. grrr

2013 review : ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I love this app, in fact it's the only one I use for my photos 2026 : ⭐ greedy devs have ruined this, it's now unusable as it's locked behind a subscription. It was a fantastic free app and I'd be happy to to pay a one off payment but no way is it worth the expensive subscription. This app used to be known as Pixlr free photo app, now it's Pixlr the app you unsubscribe. In response to the devs I wouldn't buy this for £79 for a lifetime subscription, good app though

this app will make up try to purchase it gives you no options to use it without purchasing. 3days ago I had the app for maybe 5yrs, deleted it for space now I redownload and I can't use it. so now I'm deleting it again. I'm just going to go and delete this from all my cells and tablets. I don't purchase things that force you to purchase.

I've uninstalled the app but yall are still wanting to charge me $57 for an app I uninstalled over a month ago. Thank God I had my card locked up or you would have taken $57 for an application I never used, not even once. Please remove me and my information 🙂 and stop trying tk charge my card. my bank will automatically see it as a threat and lock my card and put my life on hold while they deactivate and send me a new card and I do not need the stress. thank you
ive been using Pixlr for over a decade. It was a free use app until recently. its one of the best photo editing apps, and now I cant use it because they want 80 dollars a year. pretty ridiculous.

it really was an amazing app I had been using since 2015. But I have to uninstall now as the pay-to-use has become more and more aggressive. Simply put, its no longer a free service. Goodbye, pixlr :(
Use to be the best and most intuitive photo editing app that I could find on mobile. Unfortuantely its just nothing but AI Slop and constantly asking for money due to the fact its AI Slop. I actually would not have minded paying for the version that came before the AI garbage as it was just that good. But its practically unusable with a fresh download on a new device now.

The app is wild garbage. I remember when I stopped using it due to all the AI features and paywalls, but now I installed it and I literally cannot go past the subscription wall? Like, there's no way to use the app without buying an AI subscription at all. Upd: I reinstalled the app just to check it and there's no "not now" button. Test your slop before publishing it
The decline of this app could be a case study for the steadily encroaching enshittification of nearly everything digital. I've used this app for 8 years, if you all saw the original version compared to this trash you would weep.
$80 for a service that used to be free lmao do not waste your time. you can literally find free apps that do all the same thing as this one
