I honestly like the older version of this app because this new version is kind of annoying where every time I start the app, an advertising payment plan pops up.
you ruled..but see how fast you can suck..and now you do...that app was easy for me to use..what have done ..not free anymore..

Doesn't seem to want to edit PNG files. I guess I'm joining the many others by saying this used to be a great app, but not any more. there are so many other functional options out there. I'll be uninstalling now.
I have been using this app for many years. I tried to create an AI image from my photo - the creation was nothing like my uploaded image. Now the app will not even open.
I wish there was a zero star option, because this is terrible. This app used to be great, even with a reasonable premium plan that I was willing to pay. But now it has sold it's soul to AI Slop, and is now consumed by greed. I'm not paying $80 a year for a photo editing app, just to help you support your garbage AI option that I WILL NOT be using. And only 3 edits a day, then I have to pay if I want to edit more. You've lost the plot. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!
Not digging the move to subscriptions - this kinda sucks as I've already dropped money for the full paid "pro" version without ads in 2018. I've never had to pay any subscription until I've upgraded to a new device and now I can't even restore my original purchase. I'm not amused. I am NOT paying a subscription for something I've already paid for, and any claim this was "always a subscription" is a fabrication. This is a bait and switch and I'm uninstalling this app once I submit this review.

From free to 3 saves daily is a desperate move to make money after wasting it on AI... I don't want to pay to save on my device, using my internet, my memory. You made the app yes, you charged for the extra features, cool but saving a simple edit cost money it is seen as greed to a already struggling world. I've been using this app for 10+ years but this is too much. Goodbye and best of luck.
WHY is a review limited to 500 characters?? I'll have to limit what I'm able to pass on now, but... This app has been one of my 2 favs since 2017. Years ago I made a lifetime purchase of ALL of the effects that have now become unavailable to me. The developer emailed me back a very condescending response and refuses to honor this previous purchase. Now I can't use the app that I know like the back of my hand anymore. A LIFETIME purchase should NEVER expire!!! Lying is unacceptable.
STUPID MONEY HUNGRY APP. NOBODY ASKED FOR AI, CAN ONLY SAVE 3 IMAGES A DAY, AND THE ADS HAVE SOMEHOW GOTTEN WORSE. EVERYTHING IS PREMIUM, EXISTING IS PREMIUM. I've used this app since 2020ish and its downfall should really be studied and published as *the* case study for AI slop and greed ruining a company. I remember loving it for its seamless collage maker and editor that made it easy to do quick touch ups and IG stories, but now there's not only a paywall to export photos, but AI slop all over it?? Not to mention the insane number of ads everywhere compared to before. Stop spitting in the faces of artists broski.

i have been using this app for over ten years, and now I can't even save more than 3 photos a day without paying? It's giving greedy. I don't even care about the ads anymore, but there are micro-transactions abound. Everyone, save your coins, ditch the ai slop, and uninstall if you haven't already.

I've been using this app for minor touchups and to add watermarks for ages. I totally understand needing ads to keep it as a free product, but now I'm being asked to subscribe and pay before I can save any photos. Really disappointing.
The limit to saving pictures and trying to force buying a subscription tactic is very disappointing. Also trying to force all this AI nonsense is annoying. This used to be a good editor. Time to uninstall and move to other better apps. This reminds me of FilmicPro fiasco.

What happen to just editing a photo? The ads are ridiculous, and now when I go to save my photo, it won't save unless I purchase the very app I've been using for years. More years than I count. I'm done. I'm very done with this app.
For over 10 years, Pixlr was my go to mobile photo editing app. Did everything I needed it to do flawlessly. I tried to make my peace with the ads and the AI usage but "3 free saves" a day is where I draw the line. Another great app ruined by trying to squeeze every last dollar out of its users.

I used this app for over 10 years. It WAS the most amazing editor app. Ever since they added AI Nanno Banana (that is free from Gemini), went with aggressive adds, only 3 free edits a day and rarely ever exports pictures to your photos, this app is almost unusable. I will gladly change my review if this ever changes back. I seriously doubt it ever will. R.I.P. Pixlr. You will be missed.
I'll echo what others have said; great app, but the ads are infuriating. I understand why they've been added, but they are ridiculously long and you often can't get out of them without being forced to their download page and having to go all the way back again. I've started using other apps. There is one feature on Pixlr I like that isn't on the other apps. When I need it, I'll use Pixlr for that rare occasion. Drop the price 80% and I'll consider subscribing.
Was great, now useless thanks to the two save limit.
