can't even log in! Asks for code or password. do either and it just reloads and asks again!!? Get told to hit the contact us BUT that option isn't even there.

I haven't used Pf in over a year and have tried to cancel my plan with them but they keep charging me every month telling me I owe so much money and it won't let me cancel until its paid. I am not paying for something that I have not used. Not only that they send a payment in early and then charge me an extra 20 dollars because it didn't go through. So now there's late fees tacked on to my bill I cannot and will not pay. I would also rate this a 0 if I could.
I got hit by a drunk driver & could not walk for 3 years! Planet Fitness still billed me even though I had a Doctor excuse that I could not work out until he released me! My leg was hurt horrendously, bones broke, huge hemoglobin, my whole leg, hip & body was badly bruised. This drunk hit me head on & put my engine in thru my dash into my legs!! PLANET FITNESS STILL SAYS I OWE A BILL & REFUSE TO LET ME COME BACK!! My Doctor note meant nothing? This drunk hit me head on in "2006!!

They are another place that does not accept cash for payment of items in store. American money is becoming worthless if you can't purchase things with it.

I cancelled my account 6 months ago. I just noticed that they are still pulling money out of my account. I've been trying for days to talk to an actual person but no luck. it looks like I have to get my bank involved. do a stop payment and try to get some money back.
this company is violating the law. click to cancel is being deliberately and willfully ignored. you can't manage or cancel your membership on the app. and the website will let you go all the way to end but when you attempt to finalize the cancellation, an"error" occurs and the message tells you it can't cancel at this time with no further context. I've heard rumors how infamously difficult it is to cancel but I thought they were over exaggerated. I see now it couldn't be more true.
it sucks doesn't tell you which one you're signing into I had to take the app out and put it back in I don't even know if I have the right app for where I live
deceptive memberships. They claim "use any location.." They intentionally omit the fact that they limit the use of other locations.
keeps freezing (todays date: 4/29/2026) decided to give it another try. received membership as a gift. tried to use the app, and still encountered issues, can't even get passed the log in portion. error message " an error occurred performing that operation, please try again". not a promising start so far.
I canceled my membership because I was being charged more than I owed. The monthly fee was supposed to be $29, yet I was charged $49 several times-with the claim that I hadn't paid-even though I had automatic billing set up. And whenever I called, no one "could" address my complaint.
It's 1/3 the size it used to be. feels hot and stuffy. the new gym didn't receive all the latest equipment. plus the only sit-down chest fly machine is outdated and always down for weeks or months. They can do better.
I like the app, for the most part it is simple to use. But I have 2 phones, and the fact that you make me sign in again and again if I need to open the app on the other device is a pain. Why not make the option to select preferred devices so I can use whichever device I have with me without the overcomplication. You know it is me going to a club, there's a picture in the check in kiosk and it needs to match me...
cant login. it simply never works and so the entire app doesn't have any meaning features I can access... on my Samsung device, when you try to log in, it opens a browser extension to do so. that browser page will log you in, but it never tells the app that you've logged in. why does the app not log you in from within the app? its 2026, let's figure out the basics...
terrible app, have had to reinstall multiple times. currently not working at all.

when does the gym open?
never used it in 5 years. Now I can't cancel it. please stop taking it out of my bank account. Ive been on disability for 2 years with Congestive Heart Failure. im barely scraping by. I've tried everything until I just get frustrated. I dont have that many years left so 25 dollars woul by me a few pleasures from the store. 🙏
I just joined this app will only let me log in with the code not my password they after in keeps telling me to join but my account shows im a member and I can't access anything. this app sucks. wont even give me my scan in code
This junk of an app is just a data collection force you to update so they can gain access to the collected data. Bring back key card and stop following Amazon and Meta on collecting data.
why have the app if you can't log in
I cancelled my membership but have a month left. they already removed my access to the app by unlinking my membership so I can't even scan in.

this new update sucks. I updated the app, then it wouldn't work so I have to delete and reinstall it. I tried logging back in but it says I dont have a membership and to sign up. I have an account. I even reset the password to see if that would work. called my gym, they saw my account and tried changing the email. nothing. I've had a black card for years now and the fact I can't even get into my account is unacceptable.

planet fitness location in East hartford,CT they have some of the worse staffs very rude forcing people to take pictures on the spot even when you Provide legal ID (identification) then they proceed to canceling your subscription. so if you want find a way to cancel there you go don't let them take a photo of you and you will be out.
impossible to cancel total scam just get it blocked from your card poor costomer service will not allow you to cancel online working class people beware!!!!!!!
Can't cancel membership in app
The so-called "Crowd Meter" is a scam. It has two bars no matter what even when it's shoulder to shoulder busy.
DO NOT LINK A BANK ACCOUNT They will constantly charge you their bs $20 late fee despite having a working bank account attached, contacting the bank shows they didn't even try to charge your acxount before charging the late fee. Let alone they constantly have issues with canceling, often continuing to charge you after canceling an account, even sending your leftover bs charges into collections upon canceling. Extremely shady and unprofessional company, no idea how they haven't been sued yet.
why would you need any pf my bank info, just greed and making it harder on me If I want to cancle fix your buisness model
7 months later: exactly the same, won't open half the time, doesn't run smoothly. pain in the backside that we are forced to use this to check in.
Just got denied entrance for my account that ran out TODAY and you don't take cash.
It's a good app of you plan on pf being your long term gym, like forever because they make it so damn difficult to find the option to cancel your membership. No way to cancel your membership in the app, only via the website.
cant cancel subscription easily edit: i just looked it up and i wish i could put 0 stars, i enjoy working out here but you need to go in person?? sure ill be there to work out but what an inconvenience!
