The "Restore Remove Ads" button, or even just the "Remove Ads" purchase button, should be in Settings, not in the Shop. It's not convenient to have ads appear every single time you open the game. And if you still want to keep the button in the Shop, then please make the Shop available from the very beginning, so that users who have already purchased the Restore Remove Ads feature can restore their purchase right away. And you don't even have an account sync feature across devices? Why is that?
no ability to pay to disable ads. what a fun king joke
The game keep crashing when I am about to click the endless mode, fix it
Nothing but adds. Add after beating a level and add to start a level. Add in the levels. And the adds need to be closed 3-4 times per add. And the close or X is small transparent and in different spots. The game becomes how to close the 50 adds. Not to fight zombies.

after 3.6.1 (version 3.7.0 and up) the game was ruined by greed like the only 3 lawnmowers, etc :( i used to love this game

Adverts ruin a Classic!
Absolutly terrible. This is one of the best games in the app store but unfortunately, you can't get past the initial loading screen because your game will freeze. This has been going on for months. Please fix this.
I love this game and I would happily sit through a 30 second ad every level but once an ad starts I don't seem to be able to go back to the game even after 7 minutes. I would rather pay for the game and have no ads than to have this free version. Uninstalling again. I was hoping I could find a way to pay for the game but I can't find a way. :(
Too many ads
I cant even load into the game. My phone is brand new and I tried all the different tricks to get the game to work but all I get is the loading screen in the beginning with the music and that's it. I always loved playing this game but am bummed it doesnt work and also hearing about it having ads too.
This game has turned into a messy ad game. You guys have ruined what made PvZ great.
Horrible ad, filled mess that ruins the entire flow of the game. There are two ads in between each level and interacting with them can lock you inside of them. I cannot recommend staying away enough and I LOVE PvZ.

you guys has ruined the gaming experience, insanely high shop prices and advertisement 😑😑😑, the survival mode on 10 flag only there are 10 Gargantuars and 6 of them red eyed, why???? if you can't make a good game further don't ruin old ones...

Too many ads as you open and play. It really made the game irritating at some point. It always crushed as well even if had it updated with the latest version. Hope this will be fized asap to enjoy the game. So sad. In addition, it always stop at loadimg page and never gonna move even if you have stable connection. It always bug, and I hate it.
let us play the game without updating then you have a chance of having this 1 star be upgraded to a 5 star
Just freezes on log screen
Game is freezing on startup. Progress bar completes but nothing happens after that. S25 Ultra, Android 16. Update: problem still persists
Stuck at loading screen,didnt get the chance to play. i will uninstall it,tried force stop clear cache, still the same. im using samsung s25+
2026: the game wont load past the start screen, reinstalling didn't help. seems like something massively broke recently. 2023:Still a wonderful, fun, and challenging game after all these years. Have played through and collected everything several times over the years it's been out.
simply won't load anymore. updated and still won't load. if I have to uninstall I will ever play this game again. it was a favorite from. years ago, but I can move on to one of a million others.

Before the limited offline plays and the paywalled speed up, it was alright aside the lawnmowers being locked up by ads. I mean it is a good classic game and it needs to be balanced out from the paid PC version, but it's really annoying for these additional updates. I'll give it a 2 stars for the EA shenanigans. Although the gameplay is good and all, ehh.. it's kinda obnoxious for the limited offline plays and the paywalls.
the ads are so invasive it's made the game completely unusable especially the tik Tok ads it's ridiculous

As many others have said, the ads are atrocious. I bought the app years ago (Never a single ad since I paid for it), thought I'd play it. To my dismay, this is not the game I bought years ago. This is a walking billboard! Never pay for this app!!! EA Execs are just lining their pockets.
