Give me as many security warnings as you like but let me log on, this is not a banking app! UPDATE: Support have confirmed they believe this is a banking app.
I tried free trial. I liked the product before this. seems shady. if someone at plaud could contact me with my 99$ refund I would change review.

No Dark Mode Makes it Unusable for me. I got a Note Pro to help with my vision issues and note taking. Really surprised that there is no dark mode in the app which makes it pretty unusable to me. Guess I will need to return it even though I was excited to use it.
inadequate instructions need video instructions
doesn't meet my needs and I am trapped! I couldn't find anywhere to end my trial and I thought I did and they slipped in the $242 charge ...I want a refund. I don't use it and it doesn't work to my expectations ...my fieldy 3 works better for me in my work environment than the plaud did. either its the device itself or firmware issues but it doesn't work well . transcripts were miss worded and mumbled. I want my money back that I didnt give permission to take in the first place . please help!
There is no way to test the environment. Unless you subscribe to the service, you can't even get a feel for the GUI so it's worthless. I'm not going to pay a $179 for a product that I don't even know how it works. Your marketing sucks.

Other things to note - after further review while trying to resolve the issue, I found out from user forums you cannot offload data without using the AP. If you buy this, don't record any sensitive data like PHI or Credit Card info.
stop pushing cloud. the device was expensive enough.
I bought the pro series for the back of my phone. just realize you need a subscription to use the AI feature and the AI feature does not recognize the application nor the device so it has actually no use to you the AI does not recognize any of the same branded devices, nor the application that is ran off of. meaning that it cannot save any information it cannot make a PDF it cannot really do anything other than just be a note-taker. the device is pretty much useless same with the application
activation email never arrived why would this even be critical to functionamity.
The app makes a lot of mistakes when building the meeting notes, which is a problem. Also, you have to buy the recorder, and the membership is just too expensive; other options can do a similar job for less.
All device. No software. Strangely, once recordings increase Plaud becomes less effective. With auto-transcription (auto-flow) on, you have to manually move recordings to folders. There are no MCP connectors so you cant use it with LLMs. There own "Ask AI" cannot answer questions like "Check the meetings in November...there was a discussion on topic XYZ". Their retrieval is simply put bad! Everything is there...on just the roadmap. And the pricing doesnt make sense for such an experience. I
