The latest update seems to have remind the 10-second rewind and 30-second forewind control buttons. I have no idea why anyone thought that was a good idea.

I've already bought the pass and now I have to pay either $30 a month or $90 for a year. I'm not going to pay more when I wasn't paying monthly at all, especially when they're just going to continue raising the price like all the other streaming services. Plex was really nice to use, now it's just a cash grab like everything else.
Can't believe how bad the updates are! I've avoided updating this app after reading reviews and I'm regretting it. Older version works so well. Can't stream remotely after update. Only way I can watch something is if I'm at home and on the same wifi... Useless at that point to have a media server. Looking for an older file

It won't let me pick which google account I want to actually log into after picking the incorrect one the first time. Everytime I log in, it auto picks the wrong one I have signed out and tried again doesnt work I have uninstalled cleared cache doesnt work. I even delete the account now it just says email is taken

I had paid 4.99 to allow remote streaming for a single device, but plex revoked that license saying that plex pass is now required. That's ok, I'll just use Jellyfin. I'm not giving a company who constantly moves the goal posts money.

It used to be good. Now it's trying to be another Netflix, D+ and other paid garbage. I just want to watch MY files, on MY server, on MY Internet which I've already paid for!
not only do you need a subscription now to stream away from home by they also changed interface so you have to go through alot more steps to get throught to your own content. also if like me you don't want their streaming content, tough luck they forceit too you on the home page now. Microsoft lost the browserwar because of this forced stuff. also today received a resubscribe before you run out on Google play store, I canceled ages ago

it won't let me watch anything thing on mobile and I could not find Netflix and other it sucks
New plex still not as good as the old one. All I want is when I go into live TV for an OTA that is currently recording is for Plex to ask me if I want to watch from the beginning or live just the old version did. Otherwise I might have to wait up to 2 hours before a movie ends and appears in the library. Why did you get rid of this? Now I have to keep the old APK installed and never update. Don't give the the support website since there is only a community and no way to actually contact support.
I payed for the lifetime licence and I'm still seeing ads and this rubbish keeps crashing on nvidia shield pro
the app across my mobile devices seems to have been reconfigured so that none of my private media is visible. don't know where it's gone but I've been through the menu options over and over again and I can't find out how to reconfigure the interface. why did you change it guys? it was great as it was.

A once great service on a swift decline. Everything it once stood for and positive about the service is sadly dying due to greed.vRemote play pass now required for remote streaming. Lifetime pass member grandfathered, but assuredly they will attach some additional monetization to that. The first straw was the absolute disregard to feedback after butchering of the Roku menu fiasco. I've switched services and I'm never looking back. I'd strongly suggest you do the same.
I am so sick of the app randomly starting to play sound from my "Continue Watching" when I don't even have the app open. I have no idea what is causing it but randomly my phone will start playing the sound from a movie or TV show.
To get Closed Caption to work using Plex while casting to a Googlecast device, this is the order I need to do it in order to make it work: 1. Launch app on my phone, select a movie, click on Watch 2. Tap the Closed Caption button while it's playing on my phone. 3. Tap on Find Subtitles 4. Select subtitle (hope that it's the right one) 5. Stop the movie 6. Tap the cast button on Plex and select the chromecast 7. Let the movie play. Only now is the CC button available to tap and turn on.

This app is incompatible with ZFold7 , streaming runs @ below 720p quality, letterbox and zoomed aspect ratios are terrible aswell. always fails to transcode, this app needs a ton of work.
I was watching a show on the Google TV app, SO HARD to find that show again, I tried searching the network, searching by voice and text, I eventually found the Spanish version but, even from there was unable to find the English version. My other complaint is that some commercials are almost double the volume, I worry about my speakers, we go running for the mute button! I feel like Jellyfin is a better alternative.

instead of making the download feature work, as everyone here used to ask for, they redid the entire app and now hardly anything works anymore, to the extent that the app doesn't even reliably respond to me touching the screen anymore, even on a brand new device. great work, guys! removing the next episode button from the app is another galaxy brain move that I don't think anyone will ever be able to explain

Plex was perfect, it's not anymore every change make it a little bit less what is was at it's best. Go back to the original spirit please.

There are definitely too many ads. I don't think it's worth it.
Please give us a way to disable Recent Channels and Shows on Now on our home screen. the lack of customization options in the Plex app is astounding.
