the app keeps closing
New update makes app unusable for Android users. I constantly get a message that the app is not responding. I tried ask the troubleshooting steps, clearing cache, reinstalling the app, etc. If this continues, may need to consider another bank. The browser interface is also not great.
I've used the app for years with no issue. But now for months it's been a struggle to do anything while constantly having to close the pop-up saying that the app is not responding. Please fix the app! I do all of my banking with it, and this is worth the hassle of changing banks after 30+ years.
locked out
paying bills through Bill Pay reminder is broken
My bank (FirstBank) merged with them, and I am forced to use this app on my phone because the desktop site doesn't seem to appreciate that I don't use Chrome or Windows/Mac. Passwords have to be under 20 characters and very few symbols are allowed. It is nowhere near as simple and responsive as the FirstBank app was, with multiple time wasting animations, and everything taking a billion years to load.

as of a couple of months ago this app crashes constantly. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled with no charge. I'm not the only one in my house with the issue
this app sucks have been a first bank customer for 30 plus years you buy them out and I can't even get my first bank moved over it tells me nothing to help!

PNC is the most anti-American Business Bank I have ever been involved with everything they did was a deception and a lie when I applied for loans with my 1099 they sent me to online scammers and essentially ruined my flow of business for months it took them 6 months to close my account and multiple requests where they tried to charge me money for an account that I requested closed honored doing business with them ever. I would give them zero stars but they require one to make a review.
it never wants to open horrible app
I tried 30 times to take a picture of the check. unable to read makes you start all over in every attempt. other banks let you keep your progress.
I see leadership gave some developers some AI licenses and they are hard at work vibe-coding..This app crashes more than a junior dev after a 48-hour Red Bull bender.
It doesn't know how much money you have (literally the only thing it needs to do), then puts you in the negative over night, and then customer service treats you like you're making it up. Get a different bank.
App sucks how am I talking to an agent then I get a "agent will respond within 10 minutes" message what kind of customer service is that? let alone you took my check without giving me the option to speed up my deposit now I get to sit through a night with no food. What a joke. PNC is 🗑️
Crashes a lot
Updating as of June 2026: This app works sometimes. 1 star is still valid because it's mostly trash and often does not work. Example 1: you can't redeem points. I was trying to get some egift cards while at a shop. It would not open the messages so I had to drive home to a computer where it worked just fine online. Example 2: today I was trying to pay a bill. It was already listed in billpay and the app froze everytime when clicking the Pay button. This app is "meh" at best but mostly junk.
I keep having to uninstall. it works one time, and then I hit it, and it shows a blank blue screen. wut is wit this!

Way over complicated to use. Way too many steps to do simple tasks. My firstbank app was so much easier to use and understand. Too dark of colors to easily see. Didn't want to leave First Bank not impressed with PNC app at all
first off I went from 1st Banks app to this one. working with the same databases used the filters to seach for a purchase for a specific vendor/ store from the beginning of this month aka June. the app show no record of any transactions. overall, It needs a lot of work
constantly glitches and closes out
I don't know what's going on at PNC, but they have a hung process in their login that is disabling biometrics and it keeps asking me to shut down the app while I'm using it. I've sent the developer email two messages about this and received no reply. this has been going on for months.
I was with 1st Bank since 1984. this merger has been the biggest shitshow and my finances are all screwed up. I will be closing all my accounts and switching banks. Seriously, they had MONTHS to plan for this and nothing is working. Hours long wait times on the phone,lines around the block at the locations,and the app won't load AT ALL

the app is all right and just check your account and all that besides that there's nothing special about the app. PNC is a horrible bank to bank with. they stealing money at your account charging for fees and stuff that it deduct your money immediately after purchases and then when it's done pending all the sudden your money get taken again but they do it on the low. they try doing the certain ways that you don't even pay attention to it I do not work with me in PNC at all!
not user friendly
App barely works. Every time I've opened it it's crashing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still no difference.
I just opened an account and I already see what people are talking about. The app only works when it feels like it and that can be frustrating especially when your out and about. 1 day the app will give you no problems. The next it won't even get past the PNC logo to sign in. They really need to fix this.
App used to be great but they won't leave it alone. Signon screen no longer remembers credentials, one time password prompts every single time, Zelle is frequently down or unavailable, and screens keep changing layouts from one version to another.
Was a 1stBank customer that recently got pushed to PNC. So far, the 1stBank app was better, 1stBank customer service was better, and 1stBank's banking terms and conditions were better. Not very impressed with PNC.
