Have tried to connect 10x to a brand new device. Cant get set up to even get started using!
Practically a voice recorder unless you want to pay $200 a year, much better AI alternatives at a fraction of the price.

I bought 3 Pocket... but after testing one for a few days ~ they're 99% useless. While the audio quality is fine... the AI doesn't know what it is doing. Transcriptions mash speakers, ignore English settings to transcribe in many languages, even hallucinate conversations from noise like keyboard typing. The app freezes frequently and audio downloads stall. Also ~ I get excessive email spam from Pocket itself. Ultimately, Pocket is 99% useless... its AI is a running chicken with its head cut off.

Uninstalled. Unusable. Try to log in with Google account, kicks back to sign in screen. Try again, sign in screen. Frustrating, I can't even try the app.
the Device doesn't work for me.
The app aggressively pressures to purchase a pro account. 95% of the features are locked behind the pro account pay wall. Features once accessible for free begin diminishing in quality and capabilities with the promise to become available AFTER purchasing the pro membership. There are better quality, and less financially demanding options that provide the same service for less than the Pocket appliance cost.
Such a bait and switch. I was waiting for it. I knew it was coming after the hassle of activating my BF promotion. The promotion that allowed for unlimited AI transcriptions for life... They are now time gating those transcriptions. You have 14 days to review (and I guess copy and paste them elsewhere). If you don't get to the transcripts within 2 weeks you can't access them or the recording without upgrading to the Pro membership. Essentially making that offer that was extended useless.
this crashes every time I try to do anything. I have yet to get a single audio from my pocket. this is the mkst. hg filed app I have ever seen. it also will not run without allowing location access. my pocket is now a $90 paper weight.
wifi updates are stopping halfway through.... cannot upload recordings I took. it's just bugging out and stopping itself partway through constantly.... Extremely worried this was a bad choice.

App is wonky. keeps asking for a response to already asked and replied to questions. For example, says there's an update to the app. and after requesting the update, logs in to playstore, where the current rev. is the one prior to the update. keeps asking for me to get update. I have found the app to be counterintuitive and the newest update promises to improve the home screen experience. I seem to be caught in a temporal loop (groundhog day). Just reviewed a transcript of a recording...
The app won't update to 0.6.5. Turned off my VPN. Restarted my phone. Still will not update.
