Joined to listen as an Empire member. Every update seems to have a problem. Search for an episode I know exists but it doesn't come up.

I like how non-intrusive ads are. However, some downloaded episodes I was listening to, disappeared completely without any reason. Edit: Why do you appoint someone who is not polite, to respond to reviews? In case he deletes/ edits his response, he said "Why didn't you contact me before rating it badly". Is it required to "contact the developer" before rating? Among hundreds of podcast apps, I think 3 stars was a complement. Now, I am downgrading it to one star due to unpolite response.
I want to enjoy this app but random days it will just absolutely kill my battery and I don't change my daily routine. Usually this app doesn't do that
This app initially worked as intended but recently it has begun randomly skipping a small portion of each podcast. It's not like it skips ahead and I can rewind, but instead a portion of the podcast is deleted from the recording. **Edited since response: Each time this happens I compare the same audio file on two other apps I have installed and the issue does not persist. This issue also occurs with audio files with baked-in adds.**
A new update deleted 100s of downloaded episodes and the entire set of podcasts I had subscribed to, showing a clean slate. This is simply unacceptable in this day and age.
The UI is incredibly not user friendly
It will randomly jump backwards in my Podcast while listening at work. I then have to stop my work get the phone out and find where it skipped backwards from. The developer says this is normal but never experienced that issue with other Podcast Players. I paid for ad free and have used this for years so its annoying that I have to go back to Spotify. My review is solidified by the child like reply from the developer. I am listening to same podcast new app works fine. The FAQ is new fyi

Developer quite rude about it too when contacted (as you can see in his reply... there is no settings activated on my end, even when trying to tell him the podcast episode had no chapters, and the settings were as he instructed!), went to AntennaPod instead.
enjoyed it for years though now it is failing to clean memory and eating up 90% of my cell phone memory. time to try something new
