terrible app, no way to change region or remove local language books, search and recommendations are useless, would not ever recommend it

How do i get podcasts in my native language (English)? There's only shows and books shown in Dutch.... I got a subscription trough my ISP that i cannot cancel anytime soon. Feels like wasted money.
I'm very sorry but I am going totally bonkers. Don't get me wrong, content and the deversity of it is truly amazing. Actually I don't have anything bad to say only that whilst listening to, well, everything I tried, the first word or two words of every sentence are getting muted. Or the audio is getting faded out after a sentence ends and then is faded in one or two seconds to late so the first word what comes after is inaudible. Please help. Than I'll gladly give 5/5

Wat is de indeling onduidelijk geworden zeg. Wordt dit niet getest met gebruikers. Ik mag graag luisteren maar wat een onduidelijke manier van na navigeren. Blegh.
så sløj app. langsom, dårligt sat op. umuligt at finde sine episoder. det er sgu ikke svært at sætte en lyd-app op, punkt 1 er minimér clicks til at der afspilles et afsnit jeg vil høre. I har bygget appens pendant til et kasino i Vegas hvor man aldrig finder ud eller hen til det man vil...
Ben er in getrapt. Kreeg proef abonnement. blijkbaar had ik toch nog niet gecanceld. (want dan verloor je je proef abonnement.) uiteindelijk gecanceld maar twee dagen te laat. vergeleken met spotify is deze App echt waardeloos.
the app is great, but it doesn't allow you to listen to audiobookd more than 20 hours per month. I'm paying, I should get all the hours I want. I'd rather you to make me pay more for getting more hours.
Frechheit. Ein angeblicher Podcast wurde mir gezeigt, nur erhältlich in dieser App, umsonst. Nun habe ich die App und ein Profil und es gibt diesen Podcast überhaupt nicht. Der Link wird in der App nicht geöffnet. Content ist auf niederländisch obwohl ich fünf Sprachen angegeben habe. In den Einstellungen gibt's keine Möglichkeit mehr, Sprachen zu ändern. Kurzum, eine richtig schlechte App, ich fühle mich veralbert. Wird umgehend wieder gelöscht.
Zitten zeker een aantal leuke podcasts en luisterboeken tussen, maar is met 10 euro per maand erg aan de prijs én dan krijg je toch ook nog reclames! De user interface is erg rommelig en niet gebruiksvriendelijk. Daarnaast, ze hadden bij mij overduidelijk teveel geld afgeschreven voor het abonnement, maar het was een ellenlange strijd met de klantenservice om het teveel afgeschrevene teruggestort te krijgen.

Experience completely ruined by fundamental technical problems: Constantly crashes: App freezes and crashes during downloads AND when deleting downloads. Unusable for 30 seconds after every download. Downloads don't work offline: Downloaded episodes randomly stop mid-playback without internet. Sometimes turning data on/off helps, sometimes not - completely unpredictable. Progress disappears: Episodes listened to offline aren't marked as 'played' when you go back online. unacceptable problems.
Setup asking language has Spanish prechecked. I checked English, and UNchecked Spanish. Once installed, Podimo only offered Spanish language podcasts & a.books! For 2 weeks, then I must pay $5 every week? UNinstalled ASAP!
I hate being forced to download an app for one single podcast, instead of being able to just listen to it on the damn website. Also not a fan of being advertised "free episodes" only to find out that there's "bonus episodes" that are, in fact, NOT free. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth
as soon as I downloaded the app, I followed the set up & I chose English as the language.. it gave me everything in Spanish !! not cool bc I was looking forward to using this app.
Terrible to navigate, multiple glitches, long and often frustratingly repeating ads (not uncommon to hear the same ad four times in a row - twice when finishing an episode and twice when the new one starts), it is not user friendly whatsoever and it is altogether a very poorly performing app.
I just found out that ive been paying for 2 subcriptions, one is 49kr for premium and the other is 99kr for premium both at the same time.. and for the same premium accesses .. ???
A few good exclusive podcasts, but app missing basic functions. Media controls on headset skips to beginning of episode or jumps to next queued episode, instead of going backward or forward a few seconds. The queue will randomly remove podcasts if switching to another episode. Irrelevant podcasts being pushed. Just copy the ui from existing podcast apps instead of trying to do something that doesn't work. Paid podcasts have periods with no content during holidays, so what am I paying for?

App is just broken almost on pixel phones. Half the time it doesnt open properly, it doesnt work with car play in spite of supporting it. Also having to pay for podcast that then do tons of ads suck.
Evidentemente, el contenido es lo principal de esta aplicación, pero la app tiene muchos puntos de mejora. No almacena nada de buffer, en cuanto entras en una zona sin cobertura, por pocos segundos que sea, se corta el audio. Si tienes un episodio descargado en audio y, en un momento dado, quieres ver el vídeo, hay que borrar el audio descargado para poder cambiar a vídeo. Cuando cambias entre audio y vídeo o si compartes el vídeo a una televisión, no te guarda el minuto en el que te quedas.

Awful app experience. It's slow and constantly appears to be offline when it's not like that. The mobile experience sucks.
Great content, horrible app. Impossible to discover new content. Content I've already rated negatively keep showing up as my top suggestions, and are presented on screen filling tiles. It seems impossible to customise anything. Not intuitive at all! Update March 2025: now I can't edit my queue anymore. Time to look at alternatives.
New library UI sucks. It was already not great, but now it's somehow worse, cus you have to click more buttons to get around and it's harder to reach. I just need two easy levels of categorisation: saves (for overview) and downloads (for near future listening). And split between podcasts/audiobook. Ideally downloads would be the frontpage or max 1 click away and not tucked away like new update. Also, add auto download option already!! Great timing with price increase btw. Really feels worth it

Uses a LOT of data. Seems like it is streaming video from podcasts even when you have your phone locked. Never went out of my data plan, Spotify usage is 1GB, Podimo is THREE TIMES that! And this is with all settings on 'low'
The Podimo app continues playing an audiobook in the background when I use it with Android Auto and turn off the car. This ends up consuming my monthly hours, and I also find myself in the wrong spot the next time. Podimo should stop playing when the Android Auto connection is disconnected. Other apps and podcast players behave this way. There's also an issue when I press the back button on the steering wheel expecting to rewind 15 seconds, but instead, it jumps to the beginning of the chapter.

Fin app. virker ikke så godt uden interforbindelse, selvom man har hentet podcasts offline. Sætter meget vægt på community i stedet for podcasts. virkelig dårligt. Mindre af det, og nemmere ta finde sine podcasts i stedet. Vil gerne anbefale mig alt muligt andet end "Her Går Det Godt". jeg hører ikke andet, vil ikke høre andet. Please lad mig være. Vil gerne betale ekstra for kun at have adgang til det, og absolut intet andet.

Podimo, please fix this app. It's so incredibly buggy. Couple of examples: when a podcast has been downloaded, why are you still trying to play it over data/WiFi? If you don't have stable internet it keeps stopping. And what's the point of a play queue if it just stops playing after each podcast (it doesn't do this every time but at least half of the time) and sometimes the whole queue disappears as well. Also finished podcast come back in the queue randomly.
I do like the content available on the app and the basic look and feel is good. However there are a lot of issues like podcasts taking a long time to load before playing and the app taking a long time to load upon start up. The app uses an insane amount of data! Also I'm really missing the ability to skip 15-30 seconds within a podcast using headphone controls like on Spotify. Now it skips to the next podcasts, not great.

Sellaista "kestävää kehitystä" palvelulta jollaisia täsmälleen samalla ja enemmälläkin toiminnallisuudella on tehty 90-luvulta saakka, aikalaisraudallaan sukkelasti ja kätevästi toimivina.
I må meget gerne opdaterer jeres app, så den spiller det næste afsnit og ikke det nyeste. Hvis man starter en podcast fra første afsnit, er det ret frustrerende at appen starter det nyeste afsnit selv om man har en rækkefølge man er i gang med. Derudover er det lidt som om, at podimo ikke er helt integreret med Android så det starter lyd igen, når Bluetooth headset beder om det, efter skærmen har været låst.
This app is quite mediocre for a podcast app. The playback speed options is limited and should be possible for the user to decide (its only possible to slow down to 0.75x speed, which is too slow). The description of episodes is not intuitive. I suggest the developers take a look at the magnificent pocketcast app and get some inspiration.
I don't like the new library and the fact that it doesn't show the progress of the audiobooks is annoying and nonsense. If it doesn't change soon I'll stop using it.
Good shows, but the app itself is broken on Pixel 9 pro. Large number of seemingly random episode ranges are missing from the episode list when opening the app. The missing episodes changes also randomly. If I want to listen to a show from the first episode, I need to constantly scroll through all the newer episodes to find the one I need. And when I want to listen to the next, its all over again. Auto play picks episodes that are FAR ahead of what i'm listening to...
No hay manera, independientemente de la conexión, de poder escuchar un podcast entero sin se pause para cargar... Tema a mejorar con urgencia o no estáis en situación de competir con otros proveedores de servicios parecidos. La UI también deja que desear. Pago por escuchar a Jordi Wild.
