Do not recommend this app at all. If you download it and list an item, watch out for fake emails or messages pretending to be Poshmark support or an interested buyer. They will send you fake links claiming you need to verify your account or complete a sale, but it's a trap to steal your debit card, bank information, and identity. The platform is flooded with these scammers targeting people immediately. Save yourself the headache and keep your financial information safe stay away from this app

New update is trash, bring back the previous version. Does not release the earnings AUTOMATICALLY (as what they say in there not so helpful topics) after 72 hours.
pm_editor spams and harasses it's users daily, and Poshmark supports this type of behavior

Terrible experience as a seller. Poshmark's dispute process is completely one-sided. A buyer claimed an item was too small, yet the measurements in their own photos were about 2 inches smaller than the measurements I provided in my listing. I wasn't given a fair opportunity to challenge the inaccurate measurements or defend my case. Poshmark simply sided with the buyer. Sellers deserve a fair and impartial review process, not automatic decisions in favor of buyers.
This is the most annoying app to use. It's not intuitive and shoves tons of unwanted results into your searches. t There's a zero percent chance that you should use notifications because it's nothing but endless feeds from PM-Editor (meaning Poshmark advertising). There are too many other selling/buying apps options that are better and easier to use.

I'm not likely to shop much here anymore because of this. Previously I was confident in ordering items/brands where I knew my size, but if Poshmark won't protect shoppers from errors (or deliberate deception) like this, it's not worth the risk.
Literally full of scammers and spam accounts. 90% spam accounts blowing notifications up with 10% actual real true customers. Poshmark was a good app at 1 time. Still a problem.... Now they just make it impossible to post anything and blacklist your items without attempting to even reach out to verify. If you are a seller, go to depop or maricari

Bought a couple of jerseys advertise as originalls, both were counterfeit, i sent pictures but I only got a refund for one of them.
2026 updates have absolutely killed this app. No more press & hold on a listing to share it, now you have to go into listing in order to do it, annoying. New cancelation policy disproportionately affects small time/hobby sellers, life happens & sellers shouldn't need permission to cancel. Petty money moves that make the app worse for everyone.
Bought something and seller never responded. Their policy is to give the sellers 7 days before allowing cancellation which is absolutely ridiculous, especially when they don't respond at all. Buy your stuff elsewhere guys.
Fake items for sale. Poshmark does nothing about it. I have reported many items for example like Tiffany & Co necklaces and this app does NOTHING about it. this app has changed over the years and they are letting fake accounts and fake merchandise get through to be sold. it's actually quite disgusting how it is. Why not have people verify accounts or this app verify merchandise like eBay does? I just looked today and 7 out of 10 jewelry items I just saw were fake.
New Format is Impossible. You used to be able to narrow your size selection down. Now you can't and searching for almost anything brings up too many results, making most categories unshoppable unless you painstakingly select designer, edit your sizes, then rinse and repeat while you browse. I've no idea why they dumbed down such a valuable shopping tool. I tried fighting with it a while but now I'm just going elsewhere.
AI is poor and affects the loading of pictures. Glitches when trying to load pictures to for items to sale.
Poshmark no longer works for selling or buying. I used Poshmark for 10+ years, and the new algorithm + push for sellers to "promote" their closet has ruined the community. I can no longer get likes or impressions for my few posts, let alone sell anything. Buying only works if I look up a specific item/brand in my size. The discovery algorithm is terrible. Sad it shifted from a great community to get more money through "promote" and updated to de-prioritize non-promoted items. I'm going to switch

ONCE AND FOR ALL have a sellers rating section also so that we as sellers can RATE buyers who take their sweet time and don't accept their orders in a TIMELY MANNER to release payment to us! as it goes now most buyers let the posh system automatically release payment at the maximum timeframe of the 72 hours WITHOUT ANY CONSEQUENCES!!! either REPRIMAND BUYERS WHO DON'T ACCEPT ORDERS OR PUT CONSEQUENCES! I HAVE A 1 DAY SHIP TURNAROUND!!!!!!!!!
ten dollars for shipping when you're buying clothing is definitely not fun because that ads up. payed fifty in shipping alone. has to change.

I've deferred to other apps like depop. poshmark is such a scàm of a platform and I have since unfriended. you are forced to push through their paid promo service, and Poshmark charged me. after asking the times via email to refund, their Indian team sends an AI speech stating no. I have escalated to consumer bodies.
The block button should mean something. Sellers mass spamming OBVIOUS scam listings should not come up in my search results if I've blocked them. Same thing with blocking users for spam tagging me all day. Why do blocked users get access to my account? I have raised issues with this before but it never got resolved!! Also, they let users sell used make up 🤢 and whwn you raise concerns about hygiene, they refuse to do anything!!! GROSS POSHMARK BE ASHAMED OF YOUR LOW STANDARDS!!!!!!

I ordered a pair of shoes from a very popular seller, they didn't ship for over a week, it automatically got canceled because poshmark said they never had the item in the first place! how stupid!

the past year every time I list an item I get alot of personal emails from scammers posing as poshmark claiming I made a sale ,haven't sold much since I have had the account so deleted it and will stick to Mercari no issues with them
I started on posh years ago and have over 1800 sales. It has been getting worse by the day this last year for both buyers and sellers. It is no longer a safe place to sell on. Poshmark aids in the scamming of your items/money. Stay way. There are much more honest and transparent platforms.
Poshmark does not provide a proper way to block or filter out specific sellers from appearing in search results, which makes shopping frustrating. Even after blocking a seller, their listings can still show up, cluttering results and reducing search accuracy. There should be a simple option to exclude sellers completely to improve user control and the overall shopping experience. Right now, the search function feels limited and repetitive because of this missing feature.
Evil and Suspicious! why u ask? my first time I researched the app and so I figured I have some really high end items to sale and I just created the account and had 3 things listed. I was quickly gaining views even though I had just started my closet for listings and then out of the blue the admins of the app removed my listings even though I had no rule violation and so I honestly feel targeted but that's okay I'm going to use the oldest platform in the game which is better and more trusted.
The app is terrible now. It was great circa 2016-2025. RIP Poshmark.
Buy things at your own risk. The amount of things I've bought on this site that aren't as described, smell, or are simply the wrong item is probably over 70%. Poshmark doesn't help buyers at all and there is no way as a buyer to check the rating of a seller. They also charge higher fees than competing apps.
How stupid is it to block my account when I have active orders and prevent me from being able to speak to my customer. my account was suspended 3 days.Because I canceled an order. it strictly says on my item.It is a must bundle item only. it seems that customers have an issue with reading. there was a cancelation button just for this that no longer works. i have been a seller since 2019. this is not how you treat people who make you money.
support ghost mode my poshmark for mistakenly relisting too many items. im not a bot. They closed my support case without answering i reopened it. they didnt ban me, just cleared my closet and made me unable to be found assuming im a bot. but NOONE answers from support ever.
Poshmark uses a 'Promoted Closet' feature that is designed like a total trap. I explicitly turned off my promotion when my dashboard read $12 spent. Instead of stopping the ads immediately, their system sneakily kept running the meter in the background until it hit $20-effectively eating up the entire $25 profit from a dress I sold. You work hard to list and ship items just for Poshmark to steal your earnings through hidden billing cycles. After 10 years on this app, I am pulling all my listings
They just let customers return anything for any reason anymore. It IS NOT WORTH SELLING ON AN APP THAT TAKES 20% OF YOUR SALE AND HAS NO SELLER PROTECTIONS.

The new updates they've made ever since the UI change are all horrible. A lot of the complaints I have have already been made by all the other recent comments here, but now they've also recently changed how your likes look and it's no longer displayed from the items you've recently liked being at the very top. What a mess.
this app is full of spam and wannabe scammers, definitely the trash of selling apps
I've been using Posh since 2013. up until a few months ago I was still using it but it is IMO completely pointless now. I have to open every listing to share others stuff, used to have a press and hold feature that's non existent now. You used to be able to see your follower count and others so that you could follow their followers and so on, non existent. As well as other features but I'm limited to 500 characters. This app is no longer user friendly and I won't waste my time on Posh anymore.
This was a good app to sell on before the update, over 1300 sold items. After this update I've been lucky to sell one thing a week. Now I can't share others listings or have mine shared without going through hoops so that they can push more AI slop onto the user base. There is a better shipping option now though and I haven't had performance issues.
The recent changes have ruined the app. Sales are non-existent. Customer service has become automated and seriously declined. Depop and eBay are much better options now. It's too bad, Poshmark used to be great.
my listing never list the 1st time I always have to discard my post and do it again every single time.
new update is awful. does not give you a notification option for sales anymore and I have lost out on sales because of it. also, it never filters or sorts properly. why am I wasting time looking at clothes that aren't in my size when I have my size option selected. please fix.
I'm discovering Poshmark is infested with scammers, and they tend to side with the scammers in most conflicts. I don't feel safe selling or purchasing with this company.
This app could easily be the best place to shop for clothes... if shipping wasn't so expensive. Sometimes shipping costs more than the item itself! Poshmark should also let sellers keep more of what they earn. It feels like the platform takes too much. They should have occasional free shipping days like Depop does. Poshmark has definitely gone downhill lately, & it's really disappointing. You could tell how much potential the app had when it first came around & now... They are just money hungry
