Poor instructions as to document requirements (residence permit not allowed but no word of that until it's already too late to change / no editing ability, either!), and one of the 3 agents was really unhelpful, sent me away instead of recording the data directly (as the next colleague was nice enough to do). Very difficult to go through multiple contortions to show my document from all angles.
Waiting For 10 minutes then the operator disconnects you. try it twice and the same result each time. nonprofessional operators. They need to find a better way to serve clients.

The worst identification app. The people who work there are lazy and stupid. Every time I tried, they were disconnecting without a reason, and my internet connection is one of the best in the country. I even went outside so they could see my ID better and still to no avail. Just disconnecting. Absolute rubbish. I never have problems using other identification apps. Zero stars.

The app claims you can identify with a passport. When you click the identification button, it asks you to take pictures of front and back. That makes no sense. It is in fact asking you for your German ID. I got connected to an agent anyways. The agent was not able to help me. Utterly useless app for any non-German citizen.
went through the process. app said my browser(standard android chrome) is not compatible. Now every time I try again, it just tells me that the process is complete. the original website does not update.
"Which identification documents are accepted? Valid ID cards from the following countries can be used in the AutoID process: Netherlands" and still it keeps saying I don't have a valid ID. It hasn't expired. If something is wrong with the recordings or pictures, say so and don't give some vague error message. This is the worst UX ever

Cannot be identified due to unlimited expiry of a Bulgarian elderly person ID card. USELESS. Discriminating against elderly foreigners - great.
Tried it with German passport. App will say that you receive a mail, when they are done with the process. Didn't work on 3 Attempts and also gave me no information. I urgently need an eSim before Christmas to reach out to friends and family. POSTIDENT is hindering me!!
Funktioniert nicht. Ich bin in der Mitte der Identifikation rausgeflogen und der Chat wurde vorzeitig beendet. Bei einem neuen Versuch war die Identifikation nicht mehr möglich, weil die Mitarbeiter des Postindents mein App als "pausiert" gesehen haben und nichts bearbeitet konnten. Nutzlose Zeitverschwendung!
Terrible procedure, I tried everthing, nothing works.
So viele apps die genau das gleiche machen.. so unnötig und Überflüssig. Der Schrott fliegt gleich wieder von meinem Smartphone runter. Warum muss es immer so kompliziert sein in Deutschland... smh

If you want to identify yourself through video call don't. the employee is very rude and arrogant. Update. I have called for the second time to ask where to find the qr code. Since. The guy not capable of doing real man job he does secretary job and act like one. Started with: Colegue did not explain you yesterday? Act like that again and you will see it. The QR code you cant find in the app you incompatent low level life form. You need to go to the website.And why Macedonia is not in the list?
it does not work and foes not give you phone numbers or anything to contact for help. It's an frustrating app. Needs much improvement.
DOES NOT WORK. I tried confirming my passport 17 times. I see the halo, I could see everything that the camera saw, but every time, the app couldn't accept it. stupid pos
This did not function online for the second consecutive years. Wish it did because it is a hassle to do it all and than still having to send it by snail mail. Also, they did not receive the paper form either. So now I have to start over again. I hope this will be corrected so I can use it.
I can't even download the APP
Should have been clearly stated in the app that passport is also required for non German, otherwise every kind of german residence card is not accepted. Online authentification not avalaible for all passport, however the call person was helpful and friendly.
Broken with no support available.
I tried installing Postident on my Android smartphone. All ended with the message "Posident will be installed soon". And nothing happened
The Application itself seems to work without any problems at all. But I think it is totally unacceptable for it to have to be installed via Google Play and require Google Play services to be running

The app supports English, but the agents do not provide verification in English. In language selection, it should offer English to connect English speaking agent!

absoluter Quatsch! Zum Aufnehmen der Fotos braucht man 2 Personen oder 3 Hände! Nirgends ist erklärt was unter Provider zu verstehen ist. Wenn man anscheinend d fertig ist, dann läuft die Identifikation unendlich weiter! Auch für das Absenden dieser Nachricht gibt erkennen Sende button! Trotz Umstellung auf Deutsch kommt das meiste in Englisch.
Didn't work with my Sony WH-1000XM5 or WF-1000XM3 Bluetooth headphones. The app insisted on using my phone's speakers and microphone during th call. Employee could barely hear me so I had to shout all my numbers into the phone. Very inconvenient.
The fact that I tried to identify myself with a bulgarian ID and Passport, neither working, says a lot about this company.
