I'm editing this review because I got little to no answer other than "known issue" over three months ago. Paying for Poweramp and upgrading my phone caused me to lose my album art. Is this going to be resolved or do I need to seek a refund and find a new player. I love the player and I have paid version but I upgraded to a S26-ULTRA fron an S24 and my album art is only partially returning. How do I fix that?

this app not play music. not show any folder
I have been using this app for years and after the latest update, it will not restore my purchased version.
it has this tendency of misbehaving, it stops from working, you can't do anything whether changing a song, selecting a new song, pause a song etc until you restart your device

It no longer recognizes newly added songs. I've tried deselcting and reselecting my folders, disabled "manage app if unused" setting, clearing cache, made sure all permissions were allowed and did a full rescan. Nothing works. It suddenly became a problem a few days ago and I don't know how to fix it. Update 6/20/2026. Issue never resolved.
Still having issues with the app shuffling when shuffling is off. It will play like 10 songs from one album then go to a new album and play 1 song, next album it will play 3. I give up.
Am vip user I hate this app for one reason It automatically deletes the stats of song Am bought vip for this purpose only but it repeats for every 2months Sorth this out like taking backups or any

I've been using Poweramp for 10+ years and never had issues until now. On my Samsung Galaxy S24+, Poweramp no longer sees or displays my music library. I've rescanned, reselected folders, checked permissions, cleared data, reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, and re-downloaded music. Nothing works. Recent reviews show many users having the same problem. Please provide a real fix instead of the same troubleshooting steps. Loyal users are losing patience.

I've used this amazing app for years. Why can't I play not one downloaded song anymore.. pissed I rescanned all the files my phone has and still will not play one song.. it'll pop up the song then say file is missing.
worst music app ever. why force people to get subscription for something so simple? I would had accepted banner ads if you're really struggling to survive. Making a Good App premium will not go well for your company. subayu

OK but too buggy all the time. I'm a premium user but moved on to another app. It was good for a long time but it just became too buggy, one problem after another, some fixable, some not. I'm not even going to go into the list of what's wrong. I've just become too tired of fixing stuff constantly. OK if you enjoy having to tinker with an app.

My honest review: I bought and paid for the full version of "Poweramp"... Between Poweramp and the FREE "Musicolet.app". The free Musicolet App sounds better straight out of the box than "Poweramp" does.. I have a $1500 DAP player.. (Cayin N7+)... Maybe I just need to fool around with the controls more of the "Poweramp" but So far the free "Musicolet.App" wins when it comes to sound..
will not play added songs I have rescanned multiple times and folder has access /permission granted, etc. DOES NOT HELP! The inappropriate images that come up for album cover results, are very disgusting, to put it mildly
