I called customer service to be told they couldnt see what I was saying and that it would take 3 days to investigate (my entire stay). The supervisor "Ira" acted like she could care less. BOOK ELSEWHERE!!

They will tell you that you can't use a credit a certain way or get a refund but if you call the actual airline they are happy to help. Priceline customer service is very rude and unhelpful and they will literally jump through every hoop possible to keep your money if your plans change. I will NEVER use this company again and I would not recommend my worst enemy.
Beware. If you buy a package deal and buy the travel insurance they only return the lodging- not the airplane ticket.

terrible customer service. they offer trip insurance that does absolutely nothing for a hotel that is non refundable! why offer insurance. next trip the said the hotel was refundable. we arrive, the power is out. oh well, hotel is refundable. oh wait, its only refundable if I canceled 2 days BEFORE I BOOKED IT!!!!! they are a scam and I will never use them again.
Up until now, Priceline was great! However, I scheduled for a rental through Priceline from a fraudulent company called Easirent. They scheduled me a pick up time at 6 pm at the airport to pick up my rental, only to find out not only are they not at the airport, but they closed at 6 pm and charged me for a the rental anyway. I called customer service and nothing was done! Once again, Priceline has proven that they are not a reputable company nor do they take care of their customers.
First they book me on an airline that's cancelling flights and then they lose my return flight reservation. They were absolutely no help at all getting it straightened out even with their own confirmation number. I will never use Priceline again and I will let everyone know why.
couldn't register and get a room even though I was notified the registration was confirmed. The managers if the motel were of no help. They told me just to complete the registration and I would get a room number and code to open the door. Worked over an hour but could not find where to fill out the information. Finally gave up and went to a hotel where I was helped to register. I got a great room in less than ten minutes.

check with the hotel and car rental what they charge. through Priceline would end up paying double. once for Priceline then again when you check in, in person.
We had a frustrating experience with Priceline. We purchased 4 tickets for 4 people and paid for 4 baggage allowances- the transaction appeared to go through perfectly. Or so I thought. It wasn't until we showed up at the airport that I discovered the baggage purchase hadn’t actually gone through. Because of that, we were forced to buy baggage from Avianca at the airport-and we all know that buying baggage last minute on the day of the flight costs double. I ended up paying over $600 for baggage
I booked what I thought would be a convenient, stress-free hotel, car, and airline bundle through Priceline. The idea of bundling everything together is supposed to simplify travel-especially when you’re traveling with a family. The pics show up horribly zoomed in. Can't filter by rating. Just offers WAY less than the website features. Edit 3/13/23... How have you STILL not fixed any issue? Not even sure who would bother with this app Edit 01/04/24 pics are still showing only zoomed in. Deleted again edit 4/23/26 stupidly downloaded this again and it ignores filters, plots hotels in random places to trick people into thinking suburban hotels are located downtown. deleted.
Booked wrong day none refundable months in advance
I booked a place in Vegas for 6 nights and paid in full, about $560 through priceline while booking. when I checked in at the resort they charged me another $470.. I was angry but had to pay. I would not have booked if I'd known about the added fees. after vacation I rechecked the listing and it does mention added fees if you search through the fine print. there SHOULD BE a pop up BEFORE you complete the booking that tells you there are added fees so you can STOP before it's too late.
This app is a scam and so are international loser agents with the worst attitude & fake job titles. Be careful not to use this app !!!!!!! The agent changed his tone to sound like a supervisor when I asked for one and got caught. The prices are higher than others are they actually list 3. The discount, then the actual total, then the fake hiked up price. When you click on "continue" to get to the final price screen, THAT is the fake price. I called them out on it & instantly were rude & angry.

Priceline used to be pretty good. Now many of their bookings are through 3rd party (4th party?) like Booking com or VRBO. Also there has been a problem with their system, if you try to choose map view. Hotels shown in the area you are looking at may not be where they show at, they are actually 1-2 hours away. I don't know if it 's Priceline trying to fool you or the hotels themselves gaming the system. I have many screenshots of the latest time I had a problem with this. Beware.
tried to make a booking using the priceline app but couldn't i was able to get everything entered and done until it came time to enter my email then no matter what I did it would not let me enter my email how are people supposed to make a booking if you can't enter all of your information
I love Priceline but the price range filter isn't working at all. It really hinders efficient searching 😅
