absolute garbage app. Take hours to simply send an email for login creditials. Gives garbage spam emails and notifications but skips important ones.

not a lot of good luck with this. Im calling the insurer . Ive tried to down load 2x both times It says im on and con confirm on email. both times it says I have to download again and guess what.. not doing it

INACCURATE readings on snapshot. Turning off the cruise control while driving by hitting the off button on the steering wheel, not the brakes, triggers a hard brake ding in the app every single time. That causes me to use my brakes even more, dumb and it makes zero sense since i'm getting dinged for using my brakes, idiotic!!! plus using GPS maps on my phone causes the app to say i'm using my phone all the time. I have a 2006 vehicle that does not have fancy electronics. hello statefarm...

Fix your app!! It's not loaded up for me in nearly a year, I'm dropping insurance with you all soon.
I switch from another insurance to progressive because it was a whole lot less and here I am not even 2 years later and my bill has gone up by over $150. I have a good record. no tickets, no accidents. time to switch again

I would love to use the snapshot but I guess y'all wanna make it so hard! I need to strip it location permissions when I'm not driving cause if I don't I can't even have a phone call! Like come in now I love to talk to my kids for more than 30 seconds!
I try to open something in the app. the app takes me to the website to login then the website takes me back to the app. PICK ONE.

Kills your battery. The snapshot requests access to EVERYTHING AT ALL TIMES and kills your battery in the process. No progressive you dont need access to my health data and know my location even when im not driving. I only install this app right before I drive and then delete it when im done. Thats the only information it needs.
I had this insurance for several years. when my boyfriend's son got a permit and they put him on my insurance without me knowing or asking and refused to remove him. almost took my entire income for the month out of my account until I canceled.

Wats wrong is dat wen theres an update and its no good u still gotta take it and hope dat da next updateisbetter. Why not put out 2 or 3 updates out and explain wat da update does and then let us decide which 1 we want so then if we dont like wat we picked then its our fault 4 picking da wrong update. But u dont give a choice u just strong arm da customer in take it or else.
swapped car insurance, agreed to new pricing. changed nothing else on my policy. cancelled my auto pay without saying anything. charged a late fee when the payment never came.
it says your payment is made even though it's not because it charges the card that you took off. Then you get a warning for cancellation even though you changed the card to be billed. then you manually have to go in after the warning and hot the correct only card to pay it.
App crashes most of the time when I try to open it. Fails to log half of the trips I make. Overall, complete garbage.

This app runs in the background and eats up my battery. I have to constantly go in and close it. Very annoying.
The plug in device that they ask you to put into your car, has many problems. I live in the country with deer on the road at night and day. They tend to run out into the road and I must brake suddenly to avoid hitting them. And when I drive in town, there are people that stop suddenly in front of me. Now I am being penalized with a very low star rating. I don't know how to reach someone to plead my case for a dismal rating. And they have informed me that my rates will go up because of this!
Constantly closes and will not let me add a recent oil change..as soon as I tap the date the app closes therefore I can't keep track of services

the TV advertisements are annoying
disappointed, not all state expect a digital version. If your phone is lost, stolen or broken you have no proof of insurance. I don't know why insurance companies can't send you card with the insurance information in black and white?
drains the battery fast because you have to let it run in the background all the time. (not just when driving)
snarky customer service
they won't let you bundle policies and put them all on one ticket so they can charge you extra every time you have to file each individual one. I rear-ended a car that had two people in it and before the police got there miraculously a third person appeared saying he got hurt. I told progressive take to court but they settled out of court now I can hardly get insurance due to bodily injury claim that was false. now I am traumatized over it, I need to get paid something.
